My head was hurting so bad, and I couldn't see anything. I couldn't move any parts of my body. I realised I was in the hospital because of the beeping monitor.

I lay there for a solid five minutes before I could move my finger. Finally. I struggled, but I finally started moving other parts of my body, too.

Yes, finally. My vision also started to clear up. Even though I couldn't see properly, I could see just a little bit.

I blinked from time to time trying to clear up my vision. After what felt like forever, my vision cleared, and my body cooperated with me.

Someone was sitting beside me, El? The person realised my sudden movements and immediately exited the room and returned with a doctor.

The doctor started examining me, and at this point, my vision had become normal. I realised that it was Savien and not Elena, and I was sad.

My head was hurting so bad that the doctor gave me some shots. “He'll be fine. He just needs to rest a bit.” I heard the doctor say to Savien. The doctor exited shortly, and Savien came closer to me.

“Are you in any form of pain?”

I looked up at him. “Where is Elena?” I asked while sitting up, and he helped me.

“Elena is fine, sir, you don't need to worry…”

“I didn't ask if she was fine, I said Where is she? "” I cut him off sternly.

“She left shortly. She was with you throughout the night.” My heart skipped a beat. She's still here. I thought she would've used this opportunity to run away since she wouldn't be tracked, but she stayed.

I want to see her, I miss her. “How long have I been unconscious?”

“Two weeks and four days.”

Fuck, that's an awfully long amount of time. “Have you reached out to Don or anyone?”

“No, Miss Elena wanted me to keep everything a secret until you recovered to avoid any attacks again.”

I nodded. I can't believe how brave she has become now. “How…how is the baby?” He smiled and tapped my shoulder.

“Isla is fine, she's home.”

“Isla…what a beautiful name. When am I getting discharged?”

“I'll arrange with the doctor soon, so you can rest at home.” I nodded at him. Don would be so furious at what I'm about to do next.

Not only is he going to lose his title, but he's going to lose every fucking thing he has worked hard for, all because her daughter is stuoid.

And as for Ric? I'll get tike for him. He's probably thinking that I'm dead, along with Pius.

I'm going to get both of them for messing with my family. They'll regret ever choosing to mess with me.

I think I need to summon old Edward Cattaneo, because this one has become soft because of his wife. I need to deal with these scumbags brutally.

“I've settled everything with the doctor boss, we can leave now,” Savien said as he helped me climb off the bed. I wasn't feeling well, my body still felt a bit stiff because of lying down for too long, walking was a bit difficult for me but Savien assisted me.

We got inside the car in no time and drove off. Throughout the ride, all I could think of was Elena. I'm so eager to meet her.

I don't even care about what she did with Pius. All I want is to be with her.

We arrived inside the house and after a thorough search, we realised that she wasn't home.

“Why isn't she home? You said she was home?” I asked impatiently.

“Yes, she always comes home, but don't worry. She went with a driver so I'll just contact him.”

I paced up and down as I ran my hand through my hair frantically. Sena approached me with my daughter Isla, and immediately I saw her, I calmed down a bit.

She's so tiny, and she looks so much like Elena, but she has my grey eyes.

She stared at me quietly while wiggling around. I can't believe I have a child. I smiled from ear to ear.

I'm a father and a husband.
