Chapter 116 Karma

Three weeks ago....
She even cheats. I'm not surprised, especially with a husband like that. Any man who can be a complete pushover and dummy for a woman deserves to be hanged. 
She cheats even while he is home, and he can't do anything about it. How did this man end up being Raven's father?
I increased the brightness on my laptop because she had switched off the lights in the bedroom and turned on the light on the bedside table. 
I was 15 minutes away, and this was the day she would breathe her last. It's time I fulfilled my vows, the vows I made the night I was locked up in prison because of this damn woman.
I had vowed to end her, the same way I did to my parents. No parents with this kind of nature deserve to live. Their kids deserve happiness, and that's why I always find a way to deal with them and take the kids to my orphanage. 
Unfortunately, Raven is a grown-up child now. But that doesn't mean she doesn't deserve justice for the abuse she faced when she was little. It's just so unfortunate that karma caught up with this woman at an old age.

I watched her from the van. She was fucking another man in her matrimonial bed. She's old but still active, I'll give her that.
Raven's father was in the study, reading a book and sipping something from a cup.
There's no doubt this man sleeps around, too. 
I won't lay a finger on him. He should live out the rest of his life in misery. 
I waited till she was done with her escapade and sent the stranger out through the front door. Then she went to meet her husband in the study. I can't hear what they were talking about, so I just waited, tapping my fingers on the steering wheel. 
I had come up with the perfect technique. It's untraceable and kills painfully. I don't need to be at the scene unless I want to traumatize my victim.

After about half an hour, Raven's father left the house to go grocery shopping. It's a Friday, and he always does the shopping and will be gone for about two hours. 
That's more than enough time I need. The moment he left, I watched through the camera as she went into the bathroom and turned on the water.
She was about to go shower. She had turned the music on, it was so loud, but to my advantage. 
While she was in the bathroom bathing, I snuck into the house. Locked all the windows and set the gauge. Matter of fact, I  had put everything in place a day before, so it was easier. This is one of the disadvantages of owning a big house with high ceilings.
You won't know when something is out of place and has been tampered with.
I had fixed tubes around the house for Eidolon to pass through. All I have to do is flip the switch once the timer on my watch clocked five minutes.  There's enough in the tube to go round the house, especially her room. 
Don't worry about me, I have my gas mask with enough oxygen to last me exactly six minutes. So, in six minutes, once I set the timer, I have to be out of here.
I spent a ton of money on this, but it's so damn worth it. 
I went to her bedroom, switched off the music, and locked the windows. 

She kept yelling at whoever turned off the music, cursing at her husband.
Poor old man. 
I grabbed a towel from her closet and draped it on the mirror. I have to cover it up because the Eidolon gas makes any reflective surface turn blue.
I changed my gloves when I was done and tucked them in my pocket. 
I knocked on the door twice, then strolled over to the dressing mirror to have a seat. 
Now, she knows someone is out there, but probably not her husband.
She kept yelling and crying till she came out of the bathroom with a robe and wet hair. The moment she saw me, she turned completely pale.
“It's you…. you lunatic!” She pointed a finger at me, her wrinkled skin trembling.
I flashed her a smile. “Karma is back!” 
Her pupils dilated and she began clattering her teeth. 
" Don't be scared ” I got to my feet and strolled towards her. 
She couldn't even move, it's so pathetic. “I promised myself to take you away from this world, in the most excruciating way possible." I sighed nonchalantly,
She stepped back slowly, her flaccid cheeks shaking. Her real face underneath all that make up was ugly. Thank God my Raven was beautiful.
“What …. what …do you want? Is it money?” Her lips quivered.
I put on my mask slowly and her eyes only widened." Nahh,I just want to see you writhe in pain from the inside till you die!” 
She flinched and I lifted my hands up, holding the switch against her face. I flipped it and a hissing sound filled the room.
She looked around, panic filled her eyes as she searched for the sound. “What….is that? …what are you doing.” 
I beamed. “Just breath, okay. Breath and feel the pain you've inflicted on the Raven since she was a child.” 
She started gasping for breath, it started small at first then it turned violent. I returned back to my seat to watch her while keeping an eye on my watch.
She started coughing violently, her eyes popping out and turning blood shut. Slowly, she fell to the ground, clutching her throat. 
Her organs were beginning to bleed. Edilon works like magic. In just a split second, you'll feel excruciating pain like you were being torn apart inside out. 
“Please……” she gasped, stretching her hands towards me.“ He.. help me .” 
Pftt.
Is she joking? 
I shook my head. This scene seemed familiar only it was in a car, just before I drove them down the lake. 
She used one hand to clutch her throat and the other one, her abdomen. She's feeling her organs failing. She was staring at me, realization and horror in her eyes.
She thrashed on the floor, clawing at her skin as if she wanted to rip it off. Gasps, groans and snorts filled her mouth. 
Veins were pooping out of her skin and turning blue, her skin was getting dried. It was like she was being sucked by a witch till she turned into a skeleton.
Then all of a sudden, she stopped moving. 
Her eyes were still on me, what a pity.
I picked up a wipe from her make-up kit and wiped the snort off her face. Then I flushed it down the toilet. I carried her and dumped her into the overflowing bathtub. Her blue veins would return to normal before the cops found her body.
For now, missing Accomplished!
