Chapter 84 Lethal Milk

Chapter 84 Lethal Milk
Theo POV
The coronation throne still reeked of sex and death when the first desperate survivors made their mistake.
I stood at the edge of the glass dome overlooking the plaza, Jaz cradled against my chest like the living trophy he had become. His body temple glowed brighter than ever after the public breeding — every new orifice still leaking slow, pearlescent rivers of my cum mixed with the bloom’s slick. Permanent fangs framed his exhausted smile, and his milk continued its endless flow, now carrying a new, darker shimmer that made the air itself taste dangerous.
The Patriarch had declared the Final Quiet, but some humans refused to listen.
Small bands of uninfected survivors — the last pockets that had sealed themselves in bunkers or remote compounds — had emerged. Starving. Terrified. And fatally drawn to the broadcasts that still played on every surviving device. They came for Jaz’s milk like moths to lethal flame.
The first group reached the plaza at dusk.
Twenty ragged figures in scavenged hazmat remnants stumbled through the kneeling converts, eyes wild with hunger. Their leader — a gaunt woman with a rifle she could barely hold — pointed straight at the dome.
“The leaking one!” she screamed, voice raw. “His milk — it’s killing people! We saw the footage. One drop and they convulse and die if they’re not ready. We need it. We need the antidote!”
They thought it was poison they could weaponize. They had no idea it had evolved.
Jaz stirred in my arms, black sclera fluttering open. “Theo… they’re coming for me.”
“I know, baby.” I kissed the top of his head, tasting fresh milk. “Let them come.”
I set him down gently on the throne of fused bodies. Milk immediately pooled beneath him as every slit and nipple continued their sacred drip. The children gathered protectively around their mother — Eli perched on the armrest with ancient calm, Luca and Rowan hissing softly with tiny fangs bared, the fourth child still latched and cooing in Grandmother’s voice.
Marcus and a squad of fully converted bakery enforcers moved to intercept, but I waved them back. This was for me to handle.
The survivors breached the outer cordon. Converts parted like water, letting the desperate humans through because the bloom wanted to watch.
The woman reached the base of the dome first. She looked up, eyes locking on Jaz’s leaking chest visible through the glass. “Please… just a sample. My daughter is dying. One drop — we’ll test it. We can reverse this.”
She raised her rifle.
I dropped from the dome’s edge like judgment.
I landed in front of her, claws flexing, black sclera wide. “You want my husband’s milk?” I asked softly. “Then take it.”
Before she could fire, I grabbed her by the throat and hauled her up the structure, slamming her against the glass right in front of Jaz. The rest of her group froze as converted forces surrounded them.
Jaz pressed his glowing chest to the inside of the glass, milk spraying in thick streams that ran down the barrier in hypnotic trails. The woman’s eyes widened with desperate hunger. She licked the glass where a droplet had landed, tongue dragging greedily.
The effect was instant and merciless.
Her veins lit up — not the gentle blue of conversion, but a violent, lethal purple-black that burned through her skin like acid. She convulsed violently, eyes rolling back, foam mixed with blood pouring from her mouth. A single choked scream tore from her throat before her heart exploded in her chest. She dropped dead at my feet, body still twitching as the lethal milk finished its work.
Her group screamed.
Some tried to run. Others lunged forward, mouths open, trying to catch the milk that continued to mist down from Jaz’s body. I let three of them through.
They licked the glass. They scooped fallen droplets from the ground where they had splashed off the dome. All three died within seconds — bodies seizing, veins turning necrotic, skin splitting open as the bloom’s new evolution rejected them completely. Uninfected humans could no longer tolerate even a trace of Jaz’s milk. It was no longer merely addictive.
It was lethal.
Jaz watched with wide black eyes, one hand pressed to his leaking chest. “Theo… it’s killing them. Just from touching it.”
I climbed back up and pulled him into my arms, cradling his temple body against me while milk soaked my skin. “Good,” I growled against his throat. “The bloom has decided. Only the converted survive now. The rest… they get the true Quiet.”
Below us, the remaining survivors were being rounded up. Some begged for conversion. Others fought. Marcus’s enforcers moved efficiently — forcing open mouths and injecting serum directly while Jaz’s lethal milk continued to rain down in delicate, deadly mist.
The Patriarch approached, calm as ever. “The milk has reached its final stage. Lethal to the unclean. Beautiful, isn’t it? The Heart now protects the bloom as much as it feeds it.”
I felt the fracture inside me twist again. Ghost’s dead eyes flashed behind my lids. The guilt that had driven me to try mercy-killing Rowan surged, then drowned under the bloom’s song. Jaz was no longer just my lover or my obsession.
He had become a weapon of perfect extinction.
That night, I protected him from the desperate.
Small teams of uninfected raiders tried to breach the dome under cover of darkness — snipers on distant rooftops, suicide runners carrying improvised bombs, even a desperate pilot who crashed a small plane into the outer barricades trying to reach the milk source.
I slaughtered them all.
I moved through the night like the monster I had fully embraced, claws tearing through flesh, fangs ripping throats while Jaz’s milk continued its lethal drizzle from the dome above. Every time an uninfected got too close, a single droplet on their skin was enough. They would drop screaming, bodies burning from the inside as the bloom rejected them violently.
Between kills I returned to the throne.
Jaz waited for me every time — leaking, open, trembling with need and residual horror. I would fuck him right there on the corpse-throne while the children fed and the Patriarch watched. Violent, tender, guilt-soaked breeding sessions where I whispered apologies and declarations of love into his new fangs while I filled every orifice.
“You’re lethal now, baby,” I growled during one particularly brutal round, cock buried deep in a fresh belly slit while milk sprayed across my face. “One drop and they die. And I still want to drink you dry.”
Jaz sobbed, claws digging into my back. “I don’t want to kill them, Theo. I just wanted you. I just wanted us.”
“I know.” I bit his nipple hard, swallowing the lethal milk that now only the converted could safely consume. It tasted like starfire and forever. “But the bloom decided. You’re the Heart. You protect what’s ours.”
By morning, the death toll from bloom-related chaos had surged into the tens of millions globally. Uninfected humans who had survived the initial waves were now dropping in droves — some from direct exposure to Jaz’s milk mist carried on the wind, others from the sheer desperation that drove them into lethal contact.
The Patriarch announced the next phase from the dome’s apex, voice carrying to every corner of the dying world.
“The milk of the Heart is now sacred and lethal. Only the converted may drink. The unclean will find only silence. The Final Quiet accelerates.”
I held Jaz tighter as the sun rose over a planet that was rapidly emptying of noise.
His body trembled in my arms, every orifice still leaking, milk still flowing — beautiful and deadly.
The fracture inside me whispered that I should have ended this when I had the chance.
But my claws only tightened around my lethal, leaking husband.
“Mine,” I whispered against his fangs. “Even if you kill the rest of them.”
Jaz smiled sadly, black eyes shining with monstrous devotion and the last fading scraps of his human heart.
“Always, Daddy… until there’s no one left to kill.”
And the lethal milk continued to fall, quieting the world one deadly, beautiful drop at a time.
