Alpha Draven POV

My mind razed as I caught sight of my mate on the stool reserved for the Luna besides my throne, seeing him sitting so confidently and with the aura on par with Alpha's, I couldn't help but let out a proud smile, I have waited for this day to come for so long.

I walked straight to the throne with the pack members all watching me with keen eyes, I know my behavior is strange, I never smile before my people nor have I ever released such calming hormones on purpose, but Ryker is like a ray of sunlight sent into my life.

Getting closer to him, I noticed his slightly red eyes and puffed cheeks, even with her s expressionless face, he looked super cute, but my eyes darkened when his eyes met mine again, who made my Luna cry? My eyes darted to Elias, his eyes were also slightly red, I paused in my steps, did both of them cry while waiting for me.

"Please come up Alpha Draven, don't keep the people waiting." Ryker sarcastic tone rang out in the entire hall, my heart froze for a bit before I coughed and walked up to the throne, even the pack members were not shocked by now, they should know it's only Ryker who can dare order me around.

"Let's begin." I ordered in my Alpha Tone and Lord Owen was the first to stand up, I chuckled darkly knowing the reason for him to be so rash, even to the extent of not acknowledging the prophetess.

The Prophetess hardly waits in a meeting like this, she'd instead come up when the topic is hot and announce her bad news, but today not only does she patiently wait at her seat, she also seems to be in rather good mood.

"My Lord, I implore you to release my daughter, she has been in the dungeon for weeks now, my poor heart can't endure..."

"Your daughter has already been released!" Ryker high pitched voice resounded in the entire hall making everyone gasp in shock, I was no exception, what does he mean by that.

"Your highness, is the pregnancy making you delusional? What do you mean she has already been released, clearly..."

"Does delusional during pregnancy run in your bloodline, Lord Owen it seems the punishment for daughter is not severe enough, do you want to take her place?"

Ryker cold voice thundered in the hall, even with his small frame, he command respect amongst the pack members, even the usually arrogant Lord Owen seems intimidated by his tone.

"I do not intend to offend you your highness... please forgive me, I just wanted to clarify, my daughter is clearly imprisoned in the pack dungeon, as her father I can't sleep properly knowing..."

"But you could sleep properly when she ran around trying to kill someone." Ryker said in a calm sarcastic tone making me giggle unintentionally, I love the way his pregnancy hormones is turning him into, only that when it's channeled to me, I can't even breath properly.

"Your highness, forgive his arrogance, please let us know what you meant by your words earlier." Lord Mattoe who was the most stubborn quickly bowed and apologize, seems like no one wants to offend my mate and risk offending me even more, imagine offending two power house, wouldn't the rest of their lives turn out to be miserable.

Ryker rolled his eyes and snapped his fingers, the door by the side opened and three servants walked in, one bending her head so low that you'd think she's a new Omega, from her status and figure, it's obvious she's Kathy.

"There, your daughter." Ryker said and Lord Owen quickly rushed to her side, Kathy broke down in tears in her father's arms.

"I ...I taught....I taught she was ..."

"Yeah, she was...but after I returned to the pack, I ordered for her release but after all she can't go Scot free, not only because of what she did to me, but because of her attitudes towards Omega's, even making one Omega servants my Alpha had relations with to nearly end her life, therefore she was sentenced to intense labour without pay for four weeks, today being the final day of her punishment, here you go, I brought her back to you." Ryker concluded and the entire hall turned silent, even the sound of a needle falling at this point would be loud.

"I didn't expect you to turn out this way, child you must have been through a lot." The Prophetess suddenly walked up to the throne and faced Ryker, the gaze she looked at him with was strange, Ryker frowned and turned to me, I winked at him in assurance but he rolled his eyes, clearly not getting my point.

"Thank you, it's all in the past." Ryker quickly dismissed, he attempted to get up to meet the Prophetess but she quickly stopped him.

"Please do not strain yourself your highness, you might enter early excruciating birth if you exhaust your body too much."

My eyes dimmed at her words, I quickly stood up and made Ryker sit back on his sit, he wanted to protest but I glared at him, shutting those words of protest down his throat.

After settling back in, I turned to the Prophetess.

"What brings you here, surely it won't be because you wanted to attend the pack summon." I questioned with furrowed brows but she turned to face the crowd.

"I came today for two reasons, one do not kill Alpha Xaxier yourself, bring in to the ancestral hall to be punished by the moon goddess herself."

My eyes dimmed and my face darkened instantly, what a joke, she indeed never comes with good news, hand over that traitor that almost killed my mate, ha what a cruel joke, besides I need to learn the truth regarding Amelia, she killed my father and would certainly pay for her crimes.

"I'm afraid I can't adhere to your wish this time, great one, I have something I need to clarify from Xaxier, till then he's mine to deal with." I muttered coldly and the moon goddess turned to face me.

"Do you still seek to know the truth about your father your Majesty?"

I didn't answer her questions, is that about knowing the truth, it's about finding that witch and making her pay for everything.

"My Lord, it's all in the past, please let go of your hatred, Alpha Xaxier committed a grevious crime threatening to change the fate of the world, he can only be punished by the moon goddess, rest assured, he can't come out alive." She added but I still wasn't satisfied.

"Not to talk of the moon goddess, even if the deity descends from the sky himself, Alpha Xaxier must be .."

"Don't make irrational decisions based on your anger Draven, think if your pack and family, do you really want to go against the moon goddess?" The moon goddess berated and I paused.

I clenched my fists tightly, my eyes darted to the calm eyes of Ryker and our baby in his stomach, his expression was unfathomable and for the very first time, I wished to know what was going on in his head.

"If the moon goddess kills Xaxier, how about Amelia, she would just go find another greedy Alpha to manipulate it won't stop so easily."

"Amelia location is already known to me, she would be captured by my apprentices and brought back to the pack, you don't have to worry about that."

I nodded at her words, all the back and forth yielded nothing, even if I wanted to be the one to suck life out of Xaxier in the most excruciating painful way ever, it's okay to be done by the moon goddess.

"You mentioned you had two reasons for coming here great one." Lord Mattoe reminded and the moon goddess smiled.

"Of course, how can I forget, little one how have you been?" Her eyes softened as she stared at Ryker.

"I'm okay, you don't have to worry." Ryker said politely with a smile but the moon goddess shake her head, she looked at Elias and sighed.

"Have you two figured it out?"

"Figure what out?" I asked and even Killian ears perked up.

"From the look on your faces, you seem to know, it's been so long...if I had not been too late, your mother wouldn't suffer so much and died disgraced." Her voice shook at the end and the crowd was shocked, She actually knew Ryker's mother? But that was impossible right, for her I know, she had been in the pack all her life, how did she meet his mother.

"What do you mean?" Ryker frowned as he stared at Elias, I noticed they seem to be more ckoser than usual.

"It's doesn't matter dear, take care of yourself okay? In two weeks, you'd birth your child and fully regain your po

"What? Two weeks?" Ryker screamed out in shock, with his lips wide opened cutely.
