Ryker POV

"You wish!!"

My hands grabbed a spear from one of the guards and I channeled some inner power and aura inside it, with a swift movement, I threw it straight at his chest, my move was fast and swift, something an ordinary eyes couldn't possibly follow.

Before Alpha Xaxier realized what is coming for him, the spear was already planted on his right chest, I purposely missed his heart, after making my Lycan go through all that, I can't possibly make him die such an easy death.

"You!!" Alpha Xaxier eyes widened in shock before he collapsed with a thud on the floor, he couldn't possibly think I would pull this move right at this moment.

Seeing their Alpha down so easily,the demeanor of his men changed instantly, they looked at me fearfully, I pulled up a second spear and this time, my eyes lingered on the Beta if Alpha Xaxier, he is useless as he Is mainly a Plaything and have no real powers in the pack, yet he is the head conspirators who advised Alpha Xaxier on all of this, he doesn't deserve to live.

My heart clenched as tbe spear landed directly on his heart Killing him instantly, gasps from the crowd made me pause and look at our own weak men, they can't fight for long but that would be enough to out off this traitors, the antidote of the poison should be with one of these men.

"Take them away, do not let Alpha Xaxier die so easily." I commanded in a high tone and soon men got to work.

"Your highness, what should we do about the dead Beta?" Killian asked with an awkward face, he must find it difficult to process that such a weak Omega that wasn't even able to express himself before without getting scared or without the backing of his mate could stand up so fiercely.

"Lock him up with his lover, Alpha Xaxier should know what it feels like to deprived people of what they value the most." I clenched my fists as I ordered, Killian bowed and proceeded to carry out my order.

My eyes met that of the Gamma of Bowling moon pack and I paused, with his guilty and scared expression, he must know something, and even know he might be the next target, my eyes dimmed slightly when I noticed a movement in his lips, understanding what he was about to do, I moved swiftly with my super fast speed I had also awoken and with seconds I was in front of him holding his neck fiercely as he struggled for air.

"Give me the antidote of the poison and tell me all you know!" I commanded in an overbearing tone, The gamma shook his head even while I grabbed him, he is so much damn loyal.

"Think about your mate and pups back at your pack, do you really think my Lycan would let your pack off after today treason, your pack would be taken over and your wife and kids would be the first to be turned into slaves...." Before I could even finish, he began nodding his head desperately.

I let him off and he fell to the ground with a thud coughing violently, he spat out the poisoned ivy on his tongue and looked at me with unfathomable expression.

"My Alpha really underestimated you my Lord." The Gamma said with gritted teeth and I chuckled and gestured for him to begin speaking, he laughed self deprecatingly at himself.

"Fine, I admit defeat, but my family have nothing to do with this, you are kind and can't really bear to let innocent people take the blame, after all what happened to your sister...." He paused seeing my face darkened the more he spoke.

"Go straight to the damn point." I sneered as one of the soldiers vomited blood right inside the hall and fainted, pain surge as almost all our men were poisoned over time with the poisonous water.

"The antidote...ha... it's just rose, and this ..." He brought out a shabby looking tied nylon from his trousers and I grabbed it instantly.

"Get the pack Doctor to admister the antidote now!"

"Yes your highness." Theo immediately left with one of the unposioned men to get the doctors.

"Say your highness, you really trust every thing I tell you, shouldn't you be worry I will give you the wrong thing and kill all your men in an instant?" The Gamma asked with a sick smile and I turned to him with even a more sicker smile.

"You can't." My face grew closer to him, our nose touched as my hand grabbed his neck.

"Even though you don't show it, you are really not ready to die yet, besides..." I stood up straight and folded my hands across my chest to sooth my painful back.

"Your men would be used as lab rats, they would be poisoned and the antidote admistered to them before our men can take it."

"Ha, you are truly meticulous my Lord, I respect that."

The pack Doctor entered that moment and got to work, before the sun set, most of the men had already recuperated and taken into rest, some war guards were set to our borders and defeated the soldiers of Bloodhowl pack and Bowling moon pack, forcing them back into retreat, seeing that everything has been taken care of, I could only relax them, I robbed my tummy, I had ignored the ache from there since this morning.

"You need rest Ryker, you've been on your feet since and your body can't take it no more." Elias urged as he grabbed my hands, but I shook my head hurriedly.

"No, I need to see My mate, he ..."

"He is doing better now your highness, the Pack Doctor and prophetess is with him right now, you have nothing to worry about, please have some rest." Creed urged and the entire crowd nodded, now I noticed the way they looked at me changed, they now held respect towards me unlike before.

"But..." I wanted to protest but Elias cut me to it.

"Oh please Ryker, you think his Majesty would he grateful to see you this tired after he is awake? Get some rest." He reprimanded and I couldn't help but nod. Almost everything is taken care of and the rest doesn't need my presence.

Immediately my head landed on the bed, I fell asleep almost instantly.



The next morning, my eyelids shook slightly as I opened my eyes only to see the bright and smiling face of Alpha Draven staring at me sweetly.

"Morning pie."
