Ryker POV

Then it hit me, the pack member sudden change of attitude towards me, even Elder Fenrir who not only loathed the very ground I step on, but also my very existence but suddenly his attitude changed towards me and looked at me with more respect, I had taught they came around, probably because Alpha Draven loves me too much but now I understand this situation perfectly.

Pains bore through me as a heart wretching scream escaped my lips, I clutched my stomach tightly as I screamed, the guards panicked.

"My Lord... please what's wrong.."

"Stop asking Fucking questions asshole, Fucking get the pack Doctor. Nothing must happen to his highness and the baby." The second guard shouted, he appeared more calm than the latter.

The first guard rushed out in a frenzy, that's right. I now understand everything, this baby, that was the reason for the sudden change in their attitude towards me, but what I can't grasp is why the change, he had many mates before now, surely it wouldn't be difficult for him to get an heir, except of course he's impotent which is impossible.

I looked round the room as the guards paced around, I have to leave, I need to find my sister.

"Ahhhh...." Another painful scream escaped my mouth as I held my stomach gasping for air, the guard quickly rushed to my side panicking.

"I need water...get me water..." I said in between screams, he appeared frustrated between bringing me the water or letting me off his sights, I grimaced in pains and stood up painfully, perfectly pretending to crawl towards the door.

"Please hold on, I'd get the water." He said in a frenzy and rushed off, forgetting that there is actually water in here, but it did give me an upper hand.

I quickly grabbed some few clothes, I changed into something more comfortable, grabbed a bag and zoomed off. The entire hallway was empty as all the attention of the servants have been successfully diverted by my screams.

I sneaked around, avoiding stations with guards and servants, within minutes I was out the palace, behind the woods. I rembered a short cut that leads directly to the dungeon, I just need to find it.

After wandering aimlessly round the woods for minutes, I found nothing, not even a tattered hut or any building, was I mistaken, my eyes looked down the path where I came from, tbe path to the palace, by now the servant's must have found out about my disappeareance, I can't risk going back in there again.

I calm to a halt near a river breathless, this is actually a short stream, after washing off my face, I followed the river and luckily landed in the town, this is better, I can find the dungeon faster this way.

Suddenly a car pulled up close to me with a screech, my mind froze, no I can't be discovered now, the car handle pulled open and a man stepped out, he looked at me strangely for a while before his gaze turned shocked.

"Your highness!!" His words totally startled me, my mind went blank, he is buffy and I can't win in an open fight with him, I searched round me looking for even a rock to serve as a weapon but his next words made me paused.

"What are you doing out here looking tattered? You must have lost your way right?" He asked curiously, from the looks in his eyes I could tell he really don't know I just escaped from the palace.

"Actually yes, I was on my way to meet Alpha Draven at the dungeon when I encountered some robbers , it's totally fine...I already mindlinked Alpha..."

"That's strange..." The man interrupted me again, how the Fuck did he even recognize me, he is just an ordinary pack member.

"No werewolf in his right senses would openly rob the bride of Alpha Draven except he wants to die, I need to alert the pack, it must be an enemy pack...your highness it's not safe, please come with me." The man said and swiftly brought out his phone to call the for help. Sweats drifted off my face, just how great you are Ryker, I fidgeted with my clothes thinking of ways to avoid this situation. I grabbed his phone quickly startling him when I noticed him putting the phone on his ear, I quickly ended the Dial and smiled at me.

"It's no big deal, I'm feeling feverish already and need to see my mate, please take me to the dungeon."

"Ohh..okay." he agreed quickly and instantly opened the back seat for me. The drive was supposed to be quiet but the man appeared to even be worse than a chit chat, he introduced all his family lines to me and how it would be great if I can convince Alpha Draven to promote his elder brother in the pack warriors, I scoffed internally, you might have helped the wrong person, how was so supposed to do that when I hold no real power on the pack.

After some minutes of driving, we arrived at the pack house, the man insisted on escorting me in safely but I stopped him right on time.

"I can go from here now, why don't you return to the Pack house this evening, I'd personally recommend you to Alpha Draven." I said sweetly with a smile, he giggled excitedly and urged me to go in.

After stepping in the dungeon, I painfully masked my scent, Alpha Draven might still be in here, I don't want him finding my whereabouts, after that, I sneaked into Prince Kael cell unnoticed by the guards.

"What are you doing here?" Talon was the first to notice me, his eyes were sharp and furious, I scoffed at him, even though they were no longer standing with chains bounding them, they were still chained while sitted.

"I need your help." I ignored him and face prince Kael, he appeared smug, his handsome features slowly fading away and replaced by arrogance.

"You can mask your scent now? Your power is increasing drastically." He said slowly with a sniff and stood up, the chains bound to his legs making all sorts of noises.

"Listen I..."

"I know why you are here and honestly Ryker, I don't need you to escape, I'd always be found again if I run so I'd just tell you the location of your sister."

My eyes widened with hidden excitement, I don't care of his motive, even if I die, if even I could hold her one more time, it's worth it.

"Ha...not exciting at all, let him know of her whereabouts Talon, I can't bear to look at his face without thinking of Fucking him." Kael said with a scoff but I didn't have time to register his words, I turned to Talon with burning eyes.



My hands shook slightly as I stepped out of the border of Crescent moon pack, it's shocking that no guards were stationed here but it made more sense as it's was just a small wood and a streame, no big huge gate or tall towering grasses or anything of the sort.

I inhaled deeply as I walked into the forest, according to Talon I would get to the destination of the Pack my sister was sold to following this forest, I clutched my stomach as my mind beat with anticipation.

Suddenly, a loud howl and wolf whimpering made me halt, the wolf sounded injured, I inhaled deeply as I followed the sounds of the howl.
