Alpha Draven POV

Ryker eyes dimmed slightly as he glared at me, my hands grabbed his tiny protesting hands and I put it in place, seeing his exposed flawless skin and collarbone, I sucked in a breath of cold air.

"What do you mean?" He asked again, this time, he forced me to get off him and hurriedly covered himself with a duvet, making me growl silently.

"Don't let him know about the pregnancy, no matter what, he will leave us." My wolf whispered inside me, making me roll my eyes internally, yeah right, it was so easy for him to say and command.

"Fucking shut up and let me handle this, stop reminding me of what I know already." I fired back at him and my wolf shut up with a whimper, these days, the evil wolf taking over me occasionally is causing some injuries to Rot, my inner wolf, but I couldn't even control it.

"What are you not telling me about my body?" Ryker frowned as he asked, my heart skipped a bit, did he have an idea of his pregnancy.

"Elias told me."

Fuck it, I let out a deep angry growl, I knew that son of a bitch is up to no good, But I doubt he told him anything,if not we wouldn't be having this conversation.

"Baby, come here...you have to calm down and don't let your emotions take control over you."

"You asked why I haven't fucked your slutty hole for a while now, you were sick and the Pack doctor only said it's safe to do that now, come here... I'd make you feel good." I said the last part of the sentence, tapping on my side of the bed, Rot berated me for lying to our mate, but this is for his sake.

"Wuw.wuuw.....wuwuw..." I looked up shocked to see My mate crying with tears rolling down his tears, I gulped unable to move or make a sound.

"You Fucking liar... I knew it... you've found a new pet right? Is it Kathy? You're shameless..."

His hands went to his eyes automatically as he tried to wipe off the tears, my eyes darkened at his words, why bring my former Plaything into this.

"You don't want me anymore right? You don't love me anymore...just kill me already, I'm not Fucking scared of you..." He screamed while his body was still vibrating, I sighed and walked up to him but he kept retreating into the walls, the duvet fell off his body and his cute little erection came into views, making me pause.

"Baby come here...you are the one that made me know love, I can't love any one else..."

"Liar, I know you are freaking lying to me, you... wuwuwu...hic...I..wu.." he stuttered in between tears and my wolf berated me even more, unable to watch his tears anymore, I walked up to him and hugged him tightly, he didn't resist nor fight back but he didn't hug me back either.

"My Lord, one of the death soldiers confessed, we have a lead." Killian mindlinked me excitedly making me growl. With my mate in this condition, can I really leave him this way.

My old maid, Judy had informed me about pregnancy hormones and how it affects emotions, I understood why his emotions were out of place and why he seemed so pissed at me all the time, plus she said as a man and Omega, it might be worse for me, if I leave him like this, would he even be willing to speak to me again.

"I..why...why..."

"Shhh..." I shushed him up as another badge of tears threatened to spill, my head was aching at this point, how do I Fucking get tbe hell out of this situation without pissing him off, he is already mad at me as it is.

"My Lord..." This time, Theo mindlinked me in urgency and I sighed without realizing it, Ryker suddenly looked up and sneered, he folded his hands across his pale skin and walked straight to the wardrobe.

"Ryker!!"

My voice resounded in the room angrily but in response, Ryker jammed the door to the closet closed with full force, I scoffed and sat down on the couch after putting back my shirt.

"My Lord, may we come in? Tbe situation is dire." Killian mindlinked me, this time impatience was laced in his voice.

"Give it a break Killian, wait for me in the car." I mindlinked back a reply and they both acknowledged before leaving.

Right after, Ryker stepped up putting on a short and sleeveless body hug top, exposing his small frame and delicate features, his round buttocks was even more obvious, my eyes dimmed dangerously as I felt my dragon rise again.

"Don't step out in this!" I commanded with a harsher tone than I intended but Ryker ignored me totally making me real furious.

Ha, just how funny is it, a mighty and powerful Lycan king like myself reduced to such a state before my mate, if words get out, no one would believe.

I stood up and walked into the closet, changed into an official wear and stepped out, the pack Doctor had said not to force him during this time, or he might be affected and even the baby inside him will.

"Where do you think you are going?" Ryker suddenly stood in front of the door with his hands crossed and eyes furious as he glared at me.

"Leave the way!" I growled at me, my face darkened with furrowed eyebrows, Ryker was shocked by my reaction but he stood his ground.

"Are you going to Fuck one of your numerous pets? You said I'm your mate, even the mate bond won't keep you in place?" He demanded and my face darkened even more.

"Leave the way, don't make me regret my actions." I uttered with a cold metallic voice and I could feel the fear creep in him.

"I...I can't...you are going to that Bitch Kathy right... You can do whatever you want with her, I don't care but find my sister first..."

"Ryker!!" I said through gritted teeth.

"Don't push me." I'm seriously trying to control myself from pushing him off, he might get wounded if he resist and worse, our child might be affected.

Ryker eyes brimmed with tears but he stubbornly sucked in a breath of a cold air and didn't budge.

"I knew I should have trusted my instincts and not believe you, you made me fall into your trap, you never loved me do you?" His voice remained firm even though he looked nothing like it, I sighed internally, what's the cause of all this misunderstandings, I'd deal with this when I return, for now, I have something important to attend to, I have to end it quickly.

"What other choice do you have? You were just a weak Omega, were you going to resist and have your head and  even the head of your sister rolling on tbe ground?" I questioned coldly and this time Ryker gave way, his body fell slowly down while still beside the wall, I withdrew my outstretched hands with a sigh, he will be fine.

"Don't let him out of your sights."  I said through mindlink to the elites guards standing outside the room.



I stepped into the dungeon with Theo and Killian behind me, the wails of the traitors filled the air and the greasy smell of blood.

"My Lord..when do you plan to tell your mate about his pregnancy?" Theo suddenly asked before I opened the door to the cell that held the death soldiers.

I raised my brows at him, if this question was coming from Killian, I'd assume his mate put him to it but Theo?

"I mean, it's better to hear it from your lips than from someone else and given the fact, he is an important factor in our pack survival, I'm worried, he may act rash or crazy if you are not there." Theo hurriedly explained and I paused, what he said actually made sense, knowing Ryker, he wouldn't take the pregnancy info so well and if it's coming from someone else, he might do something crazy, but who dares defy my words and tell him.

"I'd tell him after this." I uttered and proceeded to walk in, the stench from the death soldiers made us  covered our noses, one of them was still conscious but the other two seems to be either dead or unconscious.

t missed my chance to make things right with my mate, I should have told him this morning.
