Married Hell: Part 5

**Chapter 5: Hell’s Design**

**Brent**

I had debated coming to the party tonight because I have traveled all over the world leaving broken women in my wake. None can measure up because many want a Daddy, Baby, or wealth. I want my equal and I will settle for nothing less than that and I doubted that I would find her at a party, especially in Kill Devil Hills. At first, I didn't think much about the woman dressed as Akasha, however, when she threw her drink at Tony I paid a bit more attention. I could tell that she wasn't from around here just as I am not.

When she didn't leave the lounge area, I turned my attention elsewhere until she yelled fire. I knew that there wasn't a fire so I assumed it was her safeword. Tony and his fucking brother ignored her revoking her consent. He has had a history of such behavior too. This was his final warning. After I had him escorted off of the premises, I turned to the woman I had saved. She mentioned that she felt weird after having a drink from upstairs so I went over to where she indicated that she left her glass. It was still there and had traces of her lipstick on it. I asked the bartender for the test strips that they kept behind the bar. Those strips are used to test for drugs. When it tested positive, I made a phone call to have Tony and his brother dealt with.

I return to the lady. “I have had them removed and both of them will be dealt with. Unfortunately, they slipped something into your drink.” She gasped as she began to topple over on the sofa. I needed to act fast, so I scooped her up and carried her up to my room. I sat her in the large chair as I went to retrieve my bag. I removed a bottle of liquid charcoal. I was going to give her the pills but she had less time than I had thought. “This will detoxify the ketamine that they gave you. I need you to open your mouth and trust me. Can you trust me to help?”

She nodded before she laid her head back and opened her mouth. I poured the liquid down her throat as I gently massaged it to encourage her to swallow. The charcoal kept her from passing out and she slowly regained her senses. “Welcome back, my Queen.”

She smiled briefly before her expression turned flat. “Why did you help me?” she asked, “If you expect something, you can forget it.”

I put my hands up. “You asked me to help, so I did. I don't expect anything,” I said before I reached over to twirl a strand of her hair around my finger, “However, I would like to know more about you because I…I…forget it, it is a dumb idea.”

“As long as you don't expect me to be your slave or wife, you can ask me anything,” she says calmly. This could be a problem because what I want to ask could lead to her winding up dead just like the rest.
