WELCOME THE WORLD LITTLE HEAVEN

WELCOME THE WORLD LITTLE HEAVEN
Ayla

I just stood shocked as I looked down.

I has just felt a strange sensation, like a warm gush of liquid. And then, I felt it - a sudden release, like a dam had broken.

"Oh no," I whispered, my eyes wide with shock.

“Darius!!” I shouted and I heard him rush over "My water just broke."

I looked up at Darius “what do fuck do I even do? I asked” frantic… he quickly held my hands “relax”

I shook my head “how am I accepted to relax right now Darrius huh?” I asked.

He turned to Freddy “son please alert the healers, while I get your mummy there”

Freddy nodded his head “yes dad” he said and ran out of the room.

I felt another contraction building, and I gripped Darius's hands hard. "Aaahhhh," I moaned, feeling like I was going to collapse.

Darius's face was a mask of concern, but he kept his cool. "It's okay, baby," he whispered. "You're doing great. Just breathe."

But I couldn't breathe. I couldn't think. All I could do was ride the wave of pain and pray that it would be over soon.

Was this how childbirth felt?

I didn’t want this….not now, never again.

The next few minutes were a blur as Darius helped me to the healer's place. I was vaguely aware of the sound of running feet, the murmur of voices as everyone was frantically struggling to help me.

And then, I was on the bed, surrounded by the familiar faces of the healers. Flex, one of the healers was there, smiling calmly as he examined me.

"It's time, Ayla," he said, his voice soothing. "The baby is coming."

“Where is Darius?” I asked.

I wanted my mate…. I need him right here.

“I am here baby, relax” I heard his voice and I became a little bit calmer

I felt a rush of adrenaline as I looked up at Darius. "I'm scared," I whispered.

Darius's face was full of love and reassurance. "I'm here, baby," he whispered. "I'm not going anywhere. You're going to be great."

And with that, I felt another contraction building, and I knew that it was time.

I gripped Darius's hands as another contraction hit, feeling like I was going to split in two. Felix’s voice was calm and reassuring, guiding me through the process.

"Push, Ayla, push!" he shouted.

I pushed with all my might, feeling like I was giving birth to a watermelon. The pain was intense, but I was determined... and I also wanted this to be over soon.

As the contraction subsided, I collapsed back onto the bed, exhausted. Darius was beside me, his face wet with sweat, his eyes shining with excitement.

"You're doing great, baby," he whispered, kissing my forehead. "Just a little more."

My eyes were glowing and my fangs were out, I held unto Darrius hands so tightly and I knew that my extended claws had hurt him.

I nodded, feeling a surge of determination. I could do this.

The next contraction hit, and I pushed with all my might. I felt a sudden rush of relief, and then, the most beautiful sound I'd ever heard - the cry.

"It's a girl," Felix announced, he sounded happy.

I collapsed unto the bed, totally exhausted.

I looked up at Darius, tears streaming down my face. He was holding our baby, wrapped in a warm blanket, her tiny face crumpled up in a cry.

"Ayla, meet our daughter," he whispered, his voice trembling with emotion.

I reached out, taking her in my arms, feeling a love I'd never known before.

Freddy, who had been standing beside Darius, stepped forward, his eyes shining with tears. "She's beautiful, mummy" he whispered.

I smiled, looking up at him. "What do you think we should name her?" I asked, my voice soft.

His eyes were wide “seriously?”

“I promised that you would” I said.

Freddy's face lit up with a smile. "Heaven," he whispered. "Her name should be Heaven."

I felt a lump form in my throat as I looked at my daughter. Heaven. It was the perfect name.

"Heaven," I repeated, smiling. "I like it."

Darius nodded, smiling. "Heaven it is, then."

As I looked at my daughter, I knew that I was going to love her forever, another member of our family.

"Heaven," I whispered, looking at my daughter. "Welcome to the world, little one."
