Chapter 129

"Ladies and gentlemen, I Alpha Jake Rolls thereby announce crescent wolf pack as the new name for this pack." Alpha Jake announced and everyone chorused.

A loud music was played and everyone started dancing.

Alpha Jake walked to Leilah.

"May I have this dance, my queen." He asked, she blushed and nod.

He took her hand, staring right into her eyes, his hands around her waist as they enjoyed the cool music.

"Nice name by the way." Leilah said.

"Really? You like it?" Alpha Jake asked.

"Yeah, I do, I love it's meaning." Leilah answered.

"But I can't remember telling you the meaning of it." Alpha Jake said.

"You don't have to; I always do my research on werewolves so it wasn't a hard thing for me to know the meaning of the name." Leilah replied.

"That's why I love you, you are so brilliant." Alpha Jake said.

"The pack filled with nature and adventures, right?" Leilah asked.

"Right." He smiled.

"Hey, hey, hey, excuse me, let's leave the dance, it's time for you all to taste the food my granddaughter in-law cooked with her own hands, this is to tell you all that apart from been a very pretty lady, she is an excellent chef too." Grandma Amelia said, Leilah smiled, the maids walked in with the good looking and mouthwatering food, the aroma of the food makes everyone eager to taste it.

"You can start serving them." Grandma Amelia ordered the maids.

Bellamy watched from a distance and smiled as she watched the maids served everyone food.

They quickly started eating.

"Wow, this is absolutely amazing."

"This is the best food I ever tasted, wow."

"I think am going to take a special class with you, this food is just a wow." A Luna from the neighborhood pack said as they continued eating.

One of them suddenly started coughing.

Grandma Amelia thought it was just a normal cough until everyone started coughing and vomiting.

"What's going on here?" Leilah asked scared.

"Someone calls the doctor, immediately!" Grandma Amelia said panicked as the maids and guards rushed to call the doctors.

"What's happening Alpha Jake." Leilah said.

"Hey calm down I'm sure it's nothing big." Alpha Jake replied.

"But they are all vomiting." Leilah said.

"Please calm down baby, it will be fine, the doctor will come right now." Alpha Jake replied, the remaining of the princes joined them.

"Leilah, Alpha Jake, what's happening? Why is everyone vomiting?" They asked.

"We have no idea, everything was just fine, they ate the food and they started vomiting." Alpha Jake answered.

The doctor arrived and started checking on them, he checked their eyes and their tongue, then the food.

"They started vomiting after eating this?"

He asked.

"Yeah, that's what happened." Leilah answered.

"Please do something doctor, this will cause a life time shame on us please save them." Grandma Amelia said.

"Don't worry, it's not something big, I will pour this portion in a water and all of them will drink it, they will be fine." The doctor replied and Leilah prayed it's not because of her food else what will she do.

He did as he told them, everyone drank the medicine and just like magic, they stopped vomiting but they looked weak.

"Doctor, can you explain what just happened?" Grandma Amelia asked.

"The food they just ate was poisoned." The doctor answered and Leilah's heart skipped, not just her but everyone there.

"But how will that even happened, Leilah herself cooked the food, she will never add poison to it." Grandma Amelia said.

"That's right, I'm sure there must be some mistake somewhere." Alpha Jake replied.

"There isn't a mistake I'm sure that this food was poisoned by a very strong portion and if not that I arrived early, all of them Could have lost their lives."

The doctor said, Leilah stared at all of the guest and they looked super angry.

Just then a guard walked in.

"Your highness, I found this at the kitchen dust ben." The guard said and showed them a bottle of the poison portion.

The doctor collected it.

"This is it, that's the poison that was used in the food." The doctor said.

"Queen mother, did you just invite us so you can kill us all?"

"How did that happen? Were you aware of this or your perfect daughter in-law tried to kill us all since she cooked the food."

"Talk to us!" They all said furiously.

"This have to be some mistake; Leilah can never do that." Alpha Jake said.

"Why won't you say that, she is the love of your life after all, that's what happens when you decide a mere maid to be your wife, who knows if she is just a spy."

An Alpha replied.

"My brother is right, Leilah has been living with us for a year now, she will never do something like that, we trust her." Prince Aisen said.

"Yes, we do, and why would she even want to spoil the best moments of her life? What will she gain by poisoning you all when she doesn't even know you?" Liam asked.

Leilah couldn't say anything, of course she has nothing to say, she can only cry, today was supposed to be the biggest day of her life but it turned out to be the worst.

"She is just a hypocrite, allow her to talk for herself!" Someone yelled.

"I swear I don't do it...I will never do something like that, what would I even gain?" Leilah asked.

"You don't have to explain it to them Leilah, we trust you okay." Alpha Jake answered.

"If she is not the one then that means you had planned to kill us all at the party right!" Some yelled.

"What are you saying, we won't stoop so low for that." Alpha Jake said.

Bellamy smirked.

"I know that you will never believe her but watch what will happen next to your sweetheart Leilah." Bellamy exclaimed.

She recalled how everything started.

*Flashback*

"What is your plan?" Samantha asked.

"I will sneak into the kitchen and add poison to the food, yeah the poison will only make them vomit, it won't kill them, since Leilah is the one that will cook the food, everyone will blame her." Bellamy answered.

"But you know the princes and Grandma Amelia will never believe she will do that."

Samantha said.

"Yes, I know, that is why I have planned everything so well that if she try to escape the first one, she won't escape the wrath of the people." Bellamy replied.

"I don't get it." Samantha said.

"Don't worry, action speaks louder than words." Bellamy replied.

Bellamy was there when Leilah added all the ingredients and carefully closed it, Bellamy sneaked into the kitchen while Samantha watched the door for her.

She quickly opened all the food and emptied the bottles of poison in it and Bellamy threw it in the bin.

"What are you doing, if they get to see it, they will suspect that poison was added to the food." Samantha snapped.

"Yeah, I know, that will be evidence to the princes and everyone else including Grandma Amelia that Leilah had poisoned the food." Bellamy replied.

"We are so sorry that this happened, but know that we will never do this to you intentionally, I myself will fish out the culprit and give him or her a death sentence." Alpha Jake vowed.

"Why do you need to fish out anyone when the person that did it is standing right in front of you? You are just trying to be blind because you love her, and if you won't punish her then forget about giving Justice to us." Someone spats.

"I told you a million times that Leilah will never do that!" Alpha Jake shouted, just then a guard arrived holding a burnt petrol gallon.

"And that's this?" Alpha Jake asked.

"We found out that a palace full of drawings and pictures has been set ablaze, we couldn't get to arrest the culprit but we saw this." The guard answered.

Liam's eyes widened.

The Guard handed them a bracelet that looked exactly like Leilah's own.

Alpha Jake was speechless.

Leilah shakes her head negatively.

"No, no, no, this can't be!" Liam screamed.

"Who owns that palace?" Alpha Jake asked.

"It was mine, I always went there to do my drawings, and no one knew about it because I felt I wasn't ready to come clean, I was able to inform Leilah about it, she is the one person on earth that knew about it, that palace was my entire life hard work there!" Liam exclaimed.

Tears rolled down Leilah's eyes.

"What! If she is the only one that knew about it and then with this bracelet? Leilah, I don't think I can back you up now, talk to us, tell us what happened! Why would you do that to us!" Grandma Amelia yelled.
