Alpha Jake was surprised when the pack elders called for his immediate attention, he did call them whenever he need their guidance but them just coming like that made him wondered what they want.
He agreed to meet them at the Royal meeting room.
He arrived at the meeting room; they greeted him.
"Greetings to you too." Alpha Jake replied.
"Can we talk together with the queen mother please?" Elder Davidson asked.
"Sure, call the queen mother." Alpha Jake ordered the guard.

Aliah had returned to her pack, Leilah was at her room when the queen mother called for her, she went to her room.
"Welcome Leilah, come in sweetheart." she said.
Leilah smiled and entered the room.
"You must be surprised why I called you."
Grandma Amelia said.
"Not really, you can call me anytime." Leilah replied.
"That's my girl, I actually picked out a new room for you, you are moving out from your old room." Grandma Amelia said.
"But...but why? What is wrong with my room?" Leilah asked.
"From now on you are no more a babysitter here, you are the soon to be Luna of this pack, that Is why I'm changing your room, I want you to hags a room that suit your title, and also maids to serve you because I'm not going to allow you lift a cup in this palace again." Grandma Amelia Answered.
"Awwwn, that's too much Grandma Amelia, I don't need all of this, I can move out of my room after I and Alpha Jake's wedding but before that, I'm perfectly fine with my old room, I'm not trying to be unappreciative, I really appreciate you Grandma but I don't feel like you stressing yourself all for me it's really necessary."

"Hmm Leilah, what exactly do you want? You don't want anything, you are the soon to be Luna of this pack, you need to be taken care of." Grandma Amelia replied.
"No Grandma, I don't really fancy all of this, I'm not interested in all the luxurious life, I'm already used to living a simple life, Its Alpha Jake that I love, not all these money or title." Leilah said.

The guard arrived.
"Greetings Queen mother, the Alpha wants you in the meeting room immediately." The guard announced.
"Meeting room? Why?" She asked.
"The pack elders has visited and they said they want to see you before stating out their reasons for the urgent visit." The guard answered.
"Can you go tell them that I won't be able to attend the meeting?" Grandma Amelia asked.
"Grandma why?" Leilah asked.
"Because I am talking with my granddaughter in-law and nothing should disrupt that." Grandma Amelia answered.
"Oh no Grandma, you should go I will wait for you." Leilah said.
"Are you sure you are okay with it? You are more important than them all." Grandma Amelia asked.
"I'm very sure, you go ahead." Leilah answered.
"Fine then, let's go." Grandma Amelia said.

Grandma Amelia arrived at the meeting room; they were waiting for her.
"Greetings, queen mother." They greeted.
"Greetings." She replied and settled down.
"I'm surprised as to why you called for me urgently." she said.
"Yeah, we are sorry for that, we just heard something so unbelievable that we have to come and confirm it for ourselves." Elder Davidson replied.
"And what is that?" She asked.
"Is it true that the Alpha is trying to get married to his babysitter and make her his Luna?" He asked.
"Yeah, you heard that right." Grandma Amelia answered.
"You only forget to add that I fell in love with my babysitter and I'm going to make her my Luna." Alpha Jake said.
"This is wrong, this is not even possible." The elders chorused.
"How is that not possible?" Alpha Jake asked.
"You are an Alpha you have to get married to someone that is so prominent and not just anyone especially your babysitter, you are way out of her league, you are an Alpha, everyone knows about you but her? She is like invisible to the world, no one knew her parents, her identity, or her past, getting married to her will bring catastrophes and bad luck to our dearest pack." Elder Davidson yelled.
"Don't yell at him, what is so wrong in him getting married to her? He loves her and she love him and he has the right to choose who he wants to spend the rest of his life with regardless of her background." Grandma Amelia said.
"Everything is so wrong queen mother, we are here to guide him and to make sure he doesn't make any huge mistake, we are against this, the people's will never accept her, a maid, a scammer and a poor loser who just want to drain our Alpha like her!" The second Elder replied.
"Enough!" Alpha Jake thundered and slammed his hand hard on the table, the place became very quiet.
"Who said that you can address my Leilah like that! What is your problem with me getting married to her? Did I asked you to live with her or are you the one that is going to marry her, you can say anything but you insulting my Leilah can make me lose all the respect I have for you, aren't you there to guide me so I won't make mistake? Then go ahead and don't guide me, I don't need your damn guidance, allow me to make the mistake if you think choosing Leilah is a mistake then get ready because I'm going to repeat the mistake over and over again." He shouted.
"I'm so sorry Alpha Jake, we are not and we will never accept this, if you want to choose love and that babysitter maid who has no future then go ahead and choose her, but just know that you won't be our Alpha anymore, we are going to dethrone you as we have all the rights as the pack elders." Elder Davidson said.
"You can't do that to him, he is a born Alpha, he inherited the throne from his parents who they inherited from their own parents so tell me, how can you dethrone him? Or since when did pack elders become so powerful to the extent of dethroning an Alpha? Is it because we respect you all? What if we change you all?" Grandma Amelia asked.
"You can change us queen mother, but just Know that the people will never accept this, this is illegal, this is wrong, no matter what, we won't accept for the Alpha to get married to someone he knew nothing about, look at his childhood friend Bellamy, she is the perfect girl for him, her father is well known and very rich too, she won't scam Alpha Jake." He answered.
Alpha Jake glared and then and stood up.
"You said you going to dethrone me, right?" he asked.
"You have to choose between the pack and Leilah." The elder answered.
"Great, then fix a date for the dethroning because I won't give up my love, I'm ready to give up the throne to be with my love, I have been serving this pack with all my heart, all my strength I have been so dedicated to it, if you think that you want me to do everything you want then I won't do it, go ahead and dethrone me and see if It will affect me one bit, I am a born Alpha, and even if you take away the throne from me, then it won't affect me because right deep in my heart I know that I'm an Alpha and I will always be."
Alpha Jake exclaimed to their surprised, he stood up and walked a bit.
"Guards!" He shouted, they arrived.
"They are hereby suspended from visiting the palace until further notice, if any of you allow them in this palace, then be ready to bear the consequences, anyone is not willing to accept my relationship with Leilah is not also welcomed by me, Grandma Amelia, you can go now." Alpha Jake ordered.
"Yes, your majesty." The guard replied.
The elders were shocked.
"No, you can't do this to us Alpha Jake." Elder Nelson one of the elders said.

Alpha Jake stated and hissed before walking out of the meeting room, Grandma Amelia stood up "One thing that I'm proud about my grandson is that he knew what he wants, not what others want for him." Grandma Amelia and also left them speechless.
