Part 2 of Eternally Bound Chapter 53
Astaroth
Raven’s smirk fades, replaced by a look of concern that doesn’t quite reach her eyes. “Of course not! Dalton is missing, and his guards are dead. There were traces of magic and the scent of vampires.”
My jaw tightens, my teeth clenching hard enough to shatter stone. “That is interesting. There are only a select few vampires who would dare touch a wolf you marked. We should add the local Prince to our list. And I need your help to do it unless you’d rather sit on your ass and watch everything go to shit.”
Raven nods, her expression turning serious, though her lips still twitch with suppressed amusement. “Of course, you power-hungry bitch. We’ll find him.”
I take a deep breath, my mind racing as I recount the events that led to Derek’s escape, my words precise and calculated, leaving nothing to chance. I want to go over it all in case we missed something. I watch Raven’s face as I speak, gauging her reaction, searching for any sign of weakness or doubt, any flicker of hesitation that I can exploit. But Raven’s expression remains impassive, her eyes sharp and focused, her body tense like a predator about to pounce.
As I speak, my mind drifts back to the Falls, to the White Wolf’s betrayal. The memory is a poison that seeps into my veins, a venom that makes her blood boil. I also feel the fire within me, the rage that fuels me, the determination that drives me forward, a hunger that only violence can sate.
“We need to move quickly,” I say, my voice steady, resolute, a command wrapped in silk and steel. “Derek can’t be allowed to get away. He knows too much whether he is aware of it or not, and if he falls into the wrong hands, I’ll fucking gut him myself and find another body.”
“We’ll find him,” Raven interrupts, her tone firm, her eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that makes my pulse quicken. “We’ll bring him back, and we’ll make sure he doesn’t slip away again. But we need to be careful. If he’s managed to escape once, he’ll be on guard. We can’t afford to make a mistake, or I’ll shove my fist up his ass and pull out his spine.”
I nod, my gaze locking with Raven’s, a silent acknowledgment of our shared purpose. “Agreed. We’ll track him down, and we’ll make him pay for his defiance, inch by fucking inch. But first, we need to regroup, to reassess our strategy. We can’t afford to let this throw us off course, or those cunts Sam and Eva will slip away like a dick from a loose pussy.”
Raven’s eyes gleam with a mixture of determination and malice, her lips curling into a predatory smile. “Then let’s get to it. The sooner we find Derek, the sooner we can get back on track. And the sooner we can deal with Sam and Eva, I’ll fuck them both senseless before I rip out their throats.”
My lips curl into a cruel smile, a mirror of Raven’s hunger. “Exactly. And when we’re done with them, we’ll turn our attention to the rest who aided White Wolf like fucking Bael. He may have won the first battle, but the war is far from over, and I plan to shove his arrogance down his throat until he chokes on it.”
Raven’s smile widens, a shared understanding passing between us, a bond forged in blood and lust. “He won’t know what hit him,” she says, her voice low, dangerous, a promise that makes my pussy throb.
My gaze hardens, my resolve sharpening like a blade against a whetstone. “No, he won’t. And when I’m done with him, he’ll wish he’d never crossed me, wish he’d stayed a loyal dog instead of a traitorous cock.”
The chamber falls silent, the air heavy with anticipation, charged with the electricity of our shared desire for vengeance. Raven and I stand facing each other, our bond unspoken yet unbreakable, a connection that goes beyond words, beyond reason. We are a force to be reckoned with, a storm that will sweep away anyone foolish enough to stand in our path, a tempest of flesh and fury. And as they prepare to hunt down Derek, to reclaim what was lost, I feel the fire within me burn brighter than ever, a flame that could consume the world.
The silence is broken by the sound of Raven’s voice, low and steady, a purr that sends shivers down my spine. “Let’s move. We don’t have time to waste, you impatient cunt.”
I nod, my gaze never wavering, my body humming with anticipation. “Lead the way, you filthy whore.”
Together, we step out of the chamber, into the darkness beyond, the night swallowing us whole like a greedy mouth. The darkness is our ally, a cloak that hides our movements, a shadow that conceals our intentions, a void that amplifies our hunger. The night stretches before us, endless and full of possibilities, a playground for our violence. We disappear into the night.
