Amira transformed back into her light ball and rested on my shoulder as Sam and I walked hand in hand back into the house.
Vincent looks surprised, “Well nothing caught fire or teleported.”
“Yes, but…” I don't get to finish because Amira excitedly flies all around them. Morgan jumps up and catches her.
“Morgan!”
Morgan releases the light ball, “Sorry, cat thing.”
Agnes nods as she confesses, “Yeah, it sucks. I attacked Katie's foot the other night. I knew it was her foot under the blanket too.”
Morgan adds, “But you just have to pounce!”
As we all laugh, Amira transforms laughing hysterically, “Oh, I needed that!”
Agnes gasps, “Pixie! How?”
Sam admits, “I can manipulate light waves. And well the haze hit…” he trails off.
“Then all of these pixies start flying around. I put my hand out and that's how we met, Amira.” She wiggles her fingers and giggles.
Vincent lets out a breath, “So we have restored mermaids, sirens, and now pixies.”
I nod as Amira approaches Vincent. She says, “Now I see how you made a siren. You are like her. There's both a light and a darkness in you. Keep letting the light win.” She hops over to Sam, “This one already has!”
“Oh, there's more! Meet my other two mates, Eric and Vlad.”
Amira gasps, “Four, you have four mates!”
“Yes, four.”
“Holy shit!” she exclaims.
Morgan purrs, “Nothing here is normal.”
Amira says, “We only would get glimpses of what was going on in the millennia that we have been gone.”
“Do you know of the last huge war, Amira?”
“Only bits,” she admits.
Morgan grins, “Well, I was there.”
Amira asks, “Who are you?”
Morgan purrs, “I am Morgan LaFae.”
Amira gasps, “The Witch Queen!”
Morgan smiles, “Yes.”
“Well, everyone meet the Fairy Queen.”
Morgan beams, “Eva! The power fluctuations! You've not just created life but restored the entire species. And there are two more mates you will spend time with tonight too!”
Agnes purrs, “The possibilities.”
Cassius shakes his head, “This is crazy!”
Vincent puts his hand on Cass’s shoulder, “Cass, you do realize that this could happen between you and Katie too right? You're Eva's half-brother. I venture a guess that your blood tastes similar just like how Vlad said her and Elena's does.”
Amira looks around, “There's more of you?”
Morgan nods, “Just three total.”
Amira inquires, “Eva is the only one with multiple mates though, correct?”
Morgan nods, “Yes.”
Amira adds, “The others might find more eventually too.”
Morgan nods, “I suspect so.”
Cassius backs away shaking his head, “What? No!”
Katie wraps her arms around his waist, “Cass, it's fine as it's not a choice. I watched them fight it and I won't watch you do it too. Sam is the only one that didn't fight it.”
Amira jumps up and down, “I'm so excited! This is amazing!”
“Don't get too excited, though. Darkness is still a threat.”
Amira smiles, “It won't be much longer. All you bring back will aid you.”
“How do you know?”
Amira looks into my eyes, “I feel it. Why I flew to you and revealed myself.”
Morgan grins as she purrs loudly, “Mmm, yes.”
Vincent sighs, “That damn grin again!”
Morgan hisses, “I can tell but you never listen!”
Eric puts his hands up, “Just chill! Vin, leave Morgan alone unless you want Eva to put more cats in your pants!”
Amira busts out laughing, “I'm going to like it here.”
Eric chuckles, “Probably too much like the rest of us. We all tried to keep some boundaries too. Obviously, we failed which is why there's a castle next door,” he turns to me and extends his right hand, “Eva, shall we?”
I take his extended hand as I pull him into a kiss. We wrapped our arms around each other as we teleported away.
