CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX
AURON'S P.O.V
"See you guys soon! Make sure you don't be a stranger okay?"
"We'll miss you! But I'll always be best friend number one."
"And I'll always be best friend number two, don't you forget that."
Aurora sighed.
"Will you guys ever let that go?"
Talia and Mirabel shared a look.
"Never!" They both chorused.
Aurora threw her hands up in the air, a resigned looked on her face.
"Fine. I give up. Do whatever peels your banana."
"Thank you love. I'll miss you. Make sure you miss me too, okay." Mirabel took her in for a hug.
"Always." Aurora answered softly.
Lucian, I and the other guys said bye to Eli, Jake and Shawn.
"As they said, don't be a stranger okay?" Lucian slapped their backs softly.
"Never, we're practically family at this point."
"Hell yeah, you're like my annoying but smart elder brother that I kinda of want to always stay with, because you'll ignore me. He he!" Jake laughed, Lucian shook his head as he hugged with a smile.
"Of course I am, and you are the annoying brother I never had. I'm going to miss you, not especially you."
"I know. Me too." His eyes misted and he turned away dramatically.
Lucian hugged Eli and Shawn quickly, a panicked look on his face.
"Get him out of here quick before he starts bawling like a kid."
Eli nodded, grabbing him by the collar.
"Already on it. See you guys soon. Bye." He nodded at me, "Don't be a stranger either."
I nodded back.
"I won't, see you soon."
We watched as they piled into their cars and drove off with a final wave leaving large clouds of dust in Thur wake.
"Finally, some peace and quiet." Kieran groaned, we all turned to him, without looking at us, he shrugged.
"Say what you want but that Jake guy is really loud."
Aurora and Talia shrugged.
"Its his nature."
"He can't help it."
"I don't mind." Kale smiled, Kieran glared at him then turned and went back into the house. Kale started after him. "What? I felt like I finally found my true best friend."
Aurora came up to me.
"Auron when are you leaving?"
I looked down at my watch, it was past ten already.
"Right now." I winced softly seeing the sad look creeping into her eyes. So I pulled her in for a hug.
"Its alright, I'll make sure to tell you when to come. It will be sooner than you think and before you know it, everything will be settled. Okay, so please don't make me feel bad because of how sad you look right now."
She sighed in a depressed manner, her shoulders slouched.
"Fine. I guess I can wait. You have to call me once you get back and are settled, okay. Do you have my number?" She frowned.
"Um no...but I have Lucian's and the rest of your...friends..." I noticed Talia shaking her head and waving her hands furiously at me, but she slapped her forehead as soon as I finished speaking, I glanced at Aurora and took two steps back from the dark looking on her face.
"You have everyone's number except...MINE?!!!" She growled slowly.
I gulped and looked towards Lucian for help but he just suddenly found his shoes interesting and refused to look at me, same thing with Griffin, for some reason, the sky looked so interesting to him. Figures.
"Um...you see...I took their number because I don't know when I might see them again, and besides you were busy, I couldn't find the right time to ask you."
"I was only doing the dishes." She growled.
"Exactly, one thing I learned from Elder Mikhail is to never disturb a woman when she uses in the kitchen. I had to respect your space and wait. In fact..." I brought out my phone and held it out to her. "Please put your number in there and save it with whatever you like."
I let out a nervous chuckle while waiting for her to take the phone. With her eyes still on me, she took the phone and typed on it for a few seconds. Then she handed it back to me with a grin.
"That's better."
She hugged me tightly then stepped back. "Go and be safe." Then she took Talia's hand and walked back inside. Talia waved me bye and mouthed "well done" better disappearing inside the house.
"Nice save there, I should learn from you." Lucian finally spoke, his haves on his pocket as he nodded with awe on his face.
"Not bad for a first time brotherly offense." Griffin chuckled.
I rolled my eyes at them, crossing my hands over my chest.
"Don't talk to me, you could have helped me back there."
Lucian shook his head.
"Nah man. Don't put me in your problems, I still want to sleep on the bed, beside her and not on the couch."
Griffin shrugged.
"Same here."
I shot him a look.
"Talia wouldn't do that, it doesn't bother her like that...does it?"
"She likes to support her best friend. And since he's my best friend, what he suffers, Aurora would want me to suffer that too." He replied.
I shook my head, amazed.
"My sister is a monster."
"That she is." Lucian chuckled then his eyes widened abd a look of pabic settled on his face as he snapped back.
"She didn't hear me right?" His voice traveled.
"I don't think she did." Griffin said, a look of panic also crossing his face.
"Two big men scared of their women. Pathetic." I scoffed.
They both glared at me.
"That makes you too, you're scared of her and do not refute that."
I nodded, gulping.
"Yes, I admit that. In my defense, she us pretty scary."
They nodded in agreement. I clapped my hands.
"I think its time for me to leave, I want to be there before noon."
"Alright, if you need us all you have to do is call us, okay."
"Yeah, yeah." I started walking off.
"We'll be waiting for you. And teach that elder whatever us his name not to mess with you." Lucian hollered.
I raised a hand in acknowledgement, a grin on my face. This was the first time I felt so hyped up to do something, I've got my own wingmen. The thought filled me with joy as I bent and shifted into my wolf, we broke into a sprint and ran towards the pack where Elder Mikhail must be waiting for V
