Chapter 9 The Ice Prince
"Where's Saera?"
It felt like a very cold wind entered the whole kitchen and I immediately noticed the slight freezing of the table. What the hell?
"She's here brother," Chase answered formally.
I immediately felt Kaizer's fingers on my neck, on my arms as if checking if I had bite marks from whose fangs.
"Come on, we're just eating. Getting to know, she's our big sis afterall. Right?"
One of Kaizer's hands is currently holding my chair while he is facing his siblings with his other hand on his waist.
"Why do I seem not to believe? What happened Saera?" Kaizer leaned down gently to me so that our eyes would meet.
The two vampires behind were shaking their heads at the same time, I just grinned.
"I'm fine, we're just eating."
Kaizer sighed at my answer to him.
"Where have you been?" I asked him.
He seemed to freeze at my question, now the two vampires were grinning.
"I went to vampire court."
The great vampire is lying. His siblings are just telling me that he is drinking other women's blood.
"Is the vampire court open today Elliot? Isn't it a vampire holiday today?" Chase said with a grin.
I could see Kaizer frowning, lie more.
"Yes, it is vampire holiday today. Where did you go to vampire court Kaizer?" Elliot asked.
"Liar."
I stood up and rolled my eyes at the prince of snow. Why does my blood suddenly seem to boil? Fuck.
"Saera, wait.."
I just continued walking and ignored him.
"Saera.."
He is now in front of me. I know that I cannot escape from a vampire. Especially if it is Kaizer Alaric Lancaster, the prince of snow. Damn, I like calling him that.
"Why don't you go to that vampire court of yours and bite the every girl you see? Move, I need sleep," I heard him cursing at what I said.
"Who told you? My brothers?"
I didn't answer.
"It doesn't matter who said it. The thing is you've bitten other girl, you've bitten other neck."
I just closed my eyes when my voice cracked. Why am I so affected? Fuck.
"Are you jealous?" he asked with a grin at me.
"Why would I be?! Go, bite and bite other women. I won't ever allow you to bite me again. Never."
The grin of the prince of snow appeared even more. And I just cursed when he easily grabbed my waist.
"My beautiful deity is jealous, how can I please you?" he whispered to me.
I quickly put my hand in front of his lips that were approaching my neck again.
"No, no biting. I'm mad," I said seriously.
"Saera.." I frowned at what the prince of snow did.
Did he just pout his lips? What the hell?
"Are you trying to look cute to me Kaizer?" I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Why? do I look cute?"
I just rolled my eyes.
"You’re cute, you only had fangs."
He almost gaped at my answer to him. I removed his embrace from me and continued walking.
"Are you really that mad? I promise, I won't bite other girls again."
He hugged me from behind. Damn. Are we being sweet to each other?
"Of course! What? Are they your sideline? You hunt animals, not girl's neck Kaizer."
I just bit my lip when he quickly kissed my neck.
"As you wish my deity," he whispered.
"Good."
"Aren't you going to sleep yet? We're leaving tomorrow," he asked me.
He quickly carried me and I just found myself sitting near the window while currently leaning on him.
How did my conversation with Kaizer become like this in such a short time? It seems like just a while ago I was trying to push this man away.
"Kaizer, can I visit grandma?"
I felt his embrace tighten at what I said.
"I'll think about it," he answered me briefly.
"To be honest, I'm still confused Kaizer, until now I still can't believe what I hear, see and feel."
I was just staring blankly outside the castle.
"That's why we're going to Dimitri, he will explain everything to you," he answered me.
I felt him kiss the top of my head. Maybe it's better if I don't think about it first.
"Chase and Elliot told me that you can make snow. Do you know that I haven't seen snow yet? Can you do it for me?" I said with a grin at him.
"As you wish."
The window suddenly opened and I was almost stunned when small drops of snow started to fall.
"You really are like Queen Elsa, do you wanna build a snowman?" I just laughed when I suddenly sang.
"Your happiness is so shallow Saera."
I just smiled when I felt him caress my hair.
"Really? I grew up alone so maybe that's why I'm like this, no playmates, no one to talk to but grandma. Not like you. You have your seven siblings and I can see that you love each other very much. Astrid is right, you're not the typical vampire family I know. They even drag me here just for you.."
I just closed my eyes at the last thing I said. Fuck.
Kaizer didn't answer what I said, he just chose to hug me tightly.
"I can wait Saera, I know that you haven't accepted what's happening to you yet. But I promise, I'll wait for you.."
I just smiled slightly at what he said. I hugged Kaizer's arms even more to myself, now I felt the cold because of the sudden snowfall.
"Kaizer, it's cold already."
He laughed slightly at what I said. I immediately noticed the slight redness of his eyes before the snowfall completely stopped.
We just waited for the day to end before we arranged the things we would use to go to the other kingdom where they said Dimitri was vacationing. We didn't wait long because the day in this world is only four hours.
Kaizer, Randall and Travis, who were with us to Igor Aetherio, were currently riding their respective horses, no Lancaster woman came along because they had their own responsibilities in the kingdom that they could not leave.
"Take care," Astrid waved to us.
"You take care of them Saera," Enid said laughing before the carriage I was riding in completely ran.
When we were completely far away, I started to get bored with the trip. Why am I alone here in the carriage? Why don't they just ride here three? We would fit. When I peeked at the three handsome vampires, they were all surrounding the carriage I was riding in.
"Kaizer, are we still far away?" I asked him.
"Saera, we just left," he answered with a grin.
I just pouted, what am I going to do here? I went back to my seat again, I tried to sleep but I couldn't sleep.
Why do I seem not to feel sleepy anymore? I let my boredom go first and what was running in my mind until I reached a few hours.
I can't count my sighs anymore. Why doesn't the car still stop? Damn.
"Kaizer—" I was about to open the window of the carriage again when someone stopped it.
I felt it stop too. Are we in Aetherio already?
"Oh! The second prince of Wisteria, I thought you were dead? When did you release him? Maybe you will target even women here in Aetherio?"
I am not familiar with the man's voice.
"Gavin, if you want to live longer. Get out of our way," I heard Kaizer's cold voice.
"You're still hot-headed, you have a woman with you? Why is there a carriage?"
I almost screamed when I saw a man next to me. He quickly covered my mouth so I wouldn't make a noise.
"Where is that fuck?" Kaizer said irritably.
"You must be the deity, god! You're beautiful.."
He quickly caressed my long hair and when he was about to kiss it, I completely screamed when Kaizer suddenly appeared and I just saw him strangling the man. With the strength of the two, the carriage was completely split in two and they suddenly disappeared from my sight.
"Saera!"
Someone immediately grabbed my waist and I just found myself riding on Travis's horse. I was just stunned when I saw that the carriage I was riding in a while ago was completely destroyed.
The trees that their bodies passed through almost fell. Are they fine? Who is that man?
"Who is he?"
Why haven't I seen an ugly vampire since I came to this world?
"The second prince of Aetherio, that's really how they are with Kaizer when they meet. You should try to resist him, he has the pheromone ability. He can attract any woman. Especially if you have a relationship with Kaizer, they are born to piss each other. You will surely be their new fight."
What the hell?
I noticed that the part of the forest where the two vampires were fighting was freezing.
"Are we still going to wait for them?" Randall asked lazily.
"Yes?" Travis answered.
"Or should I knock them down?" Randall asked again.
"I'll do it, they might notice you. You might be affected."
Travis immediately transferred me to Randall's horse and he suddenly ran quickly in the direction of Kaizer and the man.
"What will he do?" I asked in surprise.
"Lighting? We'll just put the best friends to sleep."
I just looked at the sky when lightning struck the forest where Kaizer and the man he was fighting were four times.
It wasn't long before Travis came back with two bodies on his shoulders.
Their bodies were both smoking. Kaizer and the unconscious man. What the hell? Are they fine?
"Tell me, what's with the second child? Why do the second princes seem to be a problem?"
Travis and Randall laughed at my question.
"Ask these toasted idiots."
