Chapter 8 Lancaster Siblings
If only I were as strong as them, I would have been able to break free from them. If only I were as fast as them, I would have been able to run away from these two vampires.
I can feel their tongue on my skin. Kaizer, where are you? My skin is only for your fangs.
"Hmmp!"
I struggled as I felt the sharpness of their fangs.
Kaizer, Kaizer, Kaizer...help me!
My tears started to fall when the two vampires bit me at the same time on different parts of my body. Fuck. I'm going to have Kaizer kill them.
I just closed my eyes as I weakened from them continuously drinking my blood. I don't want to be food for these vampires.
"Saera?"
"Saera?"
"Saera!"
It felt like I was slapped by a very strong wind and I almost fell from my seat if I hadn't caught myself in time. I immediately stood up from my seat. Stood up? Seat?
I quickly backed away while staring at the two vampires sitting in their positions. I don't understand?
Chase is currently grinning at me while Elliot is frowning.
"What's wrong Saera?" Elliot asked me.
"No! no! I'm going to report you to Kaizer! I'm going to report you!"
I backed away even more. Meanwhile, Elliot frowned even more as if he didn't understand my actions.
"What the hell Chase?! What did you do to her?!" Elliot shouted loudly at Chase, who is currently playing with a bread knife.
I immediately touched my cheek and was surprised that it had no cut.
"I did use some illusions, how was it big sis?"
Illusions? Were the things that happened just illusions?
"What the hell is wrong with you Chase?! What if she really tells Kaizer? Do you think that crazy guy will let us live? Come back to your seat Saera, everything was an illusion. It was just Chase’s power."
Now Chase is winking at me. Is it that easy? Doesn't he know that I was so scared of what he did?
"Sorry about that big sis, I did just try if it will work on you. Not a vampire yet huh? That's why Kaizer Alaric seems like he's going crazy," Chase said laughing.
Fuck. These two vampires are the most bipolar creatures I have ever met. Or are vampires really like this?
I sat down and breathed a sigh of relief. My nervousness slightly disappeared when they started talking.
"Why aren't you sleeping?" I asked.
"I'm lazy," Chase answered me.
"Same here," Elliot quickly replied.
"Then, what are you saying about calming Kaizer down? Where is he?"
Maybe they took him to that dark place again. Don't they know that there are monsters in that place?
"Probably drinking?" Chase answered me.
I couldn't stop myself from standing up.
"He is feeding other girl's blood?"
I could almost hear my whole voice in this huge kitchen. What the fuck? Isn't he satisfied with my blood yet?
"Come on, he has no choice. If he continues drinking your blood, it will turn out to sex. You're not a fully vampire little sis, maybe a little of your blood is enough for him. He can survive."
I just bowed my head at what Chase said. Damn.
"But, what about those girls? What will Kaizer do with them?"
Damn. Am I jealous? Fuck.
"Nothing, Kaizer will just drink from them. He can't cheat Saera, once you have met your mate. You can no longer desire nor look to other girls, my brother is already bounded to you."
Good then, he's too lucky if that's the case? I am feeding him then he'll flirt to others?
I just sat down again.
"Can you explain to me the abilities of you siblings? I don't want to be surprised again."
I heard Chase chuckle slightly at what I said. I might just be surprised and they will use their strange abilities on me again. Not again.
"Where do you want to start?" Elliot asked me.
As far as I remember, there are eight of them siblings, better to start with the oldest?
"Eldest."
Elliot nodded at me.
"Let's start with his Highness, he is the current leader of this kingdom. He's a good swordsman."
Why do they still call their brother his Highness? They're too formal. Swordsman? Then?
"Just a swordsman? He can't fly?"
The two vampires laughed at what I said.
"Damn those vampire movies, what else can we do with what you watch?" Chase said laughing.
Can't they fly?
"We don't have wings Saera, we can't fly," Elliot said also laughing.
"He can make a sword out of his blood, he can do things using of his blood actually."
I just nodded. Maybe it's better if I just listen?
"Kaizer, he possess the power of ice and snow."
I just clapped. He's so good, I thought I could only see these things on television shows.
"Kaizer is so cool, he's like Queen Elsa," I said happily while the two vampires were grimacing at me. Did I say something wrong?
"Saera, don't compare us to those human movies," Elliot said scratching his head.
"Alright then, I'm sorry. Continue."
Is it really that different?
"Next is Astrid, she's the fastest vampire. And she's also good in manipulating poisonous smoke."
I just nodded again.
"Chase, which is illusion. He can enter on your mind, you probably already know."
Chase just grinned at me.
"Next is Randall. He's a powerful vampire, his strength is triple ours."
Superman?
"Travis, he can manipulate the lighting and thunder."
Sounds good.
"Me, which is the wind."
I already felt his power, just a while ago.
"And Enid can manipulate music."
How cute of her.
"What about you? What will you be?"
The two of them stared at me as if they would know right away.
"Will I have something like your abilities? I am just bitten, I am not a natural vampire," I explained to them.
"You will, let's just wait for your complete transformation. For the meantime, eat first. Act normal and please don't say something that will definitely make our throats cut, Chase was just joking earlier. The prince of snow is coming."
The two vampires suddenly became busy eating.
