Chapter 6 Mating Call
I really want to curse myself for what's happening to me. My heart, mind, and body are damn contradicting with one another.
My mind keeps saying that I don't and will never like a man like this, they suck blood for survival.
They suck blood for their lives. This is very inhumane. I can't live my life like this. How can they feed themselves? Victimizing innocent people? How can I live like this? I can't drink blood just to live. Shit. This is damn wrong, Saera. What you're asking for is wrong.
Kaizer’s eyes, which are starting to turn red again, are just staring at me. The candles surrounding this room are dying out one after another. And the eyes staring intently at my neck are getting more attention.
"Kaizer."
I really want to pull my hair for calling his name. What's wrong with you, Saera?!
In the blink of an eye, I found myself sitting on a high table with beautiful flowers in expensive vases. But it seems I stole their position. I almost closed my eyes when I heard them shatter loudly.
My damn heart and body. Shit. They are both traitors. Since he bit me in the middle of the fires, I felt the changes in the system of every part of my body. Fuck this body.
"You're so bipolar, Saera. I heard your words a while ago. I thought you didn't like me?" he said with a smirk as his arms wrapped around my body.
Instead of answering what he said, my hands tried to reach his face.
"Kaizer, I want to see your fangs."
He didn't answer me, and he slightly parted his lips so I could see his fangs clearly.
My fingers traced his fangs, just like how he did to me when I regained consciousness.
My fingers felt the sharpness of his fangs. Fangs that my body is craving. Damn.
He immediately grabbed my hands to stop me from what I was doing.
"You're seducing me, Saera," he whispered to me.
Again, I was surprised when we changed positions. I guess I need to get used to this quick changing of positions. I'm currently facing the wall while Kaizer is behind me, starting to brush my long hair aside.
My hands just clenched. Fuck.
Kaizer quickly caught my hands and forced them between the cold wall and his hands.
"Kaizer..." I can't help but utter his name when I felt the warm touch of his tongue on my neck. I must be dumb, but I love the warmth of his tongue.
"Saera Yvaine Merriley, I've waited for you so long..." he whispered to me.
I just bit my lip when the beautiful dress I was wearing was pulled down on my right shoulder.
"Let's try on your shoulder."
I was like a robot that just nodded at what he said. I closed my eyes more tightly when I felt his fangs getting closer to my shoulder.
You wanted this, Saera. You wanted this. His hands pressed harder on my hands.
My whole body is getting hotter, and my knees are shaking even more. He's about to bite me..
"Oh my god!"
I stopped closing my eyes when I heard Astrid's voice. Kaizer immediately disappeared from behind me, and I found myself hiding behind Astrid while Enid was covering me with a blanket.
I noticed that Randall and another male vampire had pulled Kaizer away, who was struggling.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! Don't you know we're doing something?" Kaizer said angrily.
"I told you, it's not good to leave Saera alone. Our brother will definitely attack her," Enid quickly said.
"There is nothing wrong with it, she is my mate. What's wrong with you four? Find your mate! You'll also know what I'm feeling. I've been longing for her for years."
I frowned at what Kaizer said. Isn't it just a year?
"We know there's nothing wrong, Kaizer, but please see the situation. Saera hasn't fully changed yet. In the eyes of us vampires, she's still a human; there's no change in her except for her physical appearance. Yes, we've seen her eyes glow. But it disappeared quickly, you've bitten her three times, right? Yet she's still a human. Enid is right. I can't feel her strength. She can't keep up with you, Kaizer, it's dangerous for her."
I kept listening to the conversation of the vampire siblings. I don't understand what Astrid is trying to point out.
Kaizer violently broke free from the arms holding him back.
"Randall, Travis," he said coldly, which made the two men stop holding him again.
"Just listen to Astrid, Kaizer. Learn to wait, she can't handle a vampire sex yet," Randall said, laughing.
I couldn't help but bow my head at what he said. Fuck. Now I know.
Was what we were doing close to that? I'm ashamed of myself. My grandmother raised me to be wary of men, but here I am now, offering myself to a handsome vampire.
"And she can't get pregnant with a vampire yet. You're killing her, Kaizer," Astrid said seriously.
Why did it reach pregnancy?
"Tsss, alright. You can leave us now," Kaizer replied flatly.
"We can't, Kaizer. His Highness strictly ordered not to put you together in the same room until she fully becomes a vampire," Astrid quickly replied.
"What the hell?! Are you serious?" Kaizer is getting irritated with his siblings' conversation.
"Just obey, Kaizer," the man who hadn't been talking for a while chimed in. If I'm not mistaken, his name is Travis.
"I'm noticing that there's something wrong with Larkin. Is he still angry at me because I got the mark? That he's not the eldest? I am the chosen one, don't take it out on me why he wasn't chosen."
Is this the mark that Astrid and Enid were telling me about?
"Kaizer!!" his siblings almost shouted because of what he said.
"Are you stupid? Larkin brought Saera here because he felt sorry for you."
They're probably talking about the eldest. He's a goddamn perfection, and I was really impressed with him. But Kaizer is much attractive and damn dangerous looking. I'm not surprised why my body is having this effect on him. He's too sexy, a goddamn sexy vampire.
"I'm not stupid, Astrid. Our first prince is interested with my deity. My blood is boiling with the way he's looking at Saera. I won't hesitate to take his position in this kingdom if he tries to touch Saera,” Kaizer said seriously while looking at me.
“She's mine. I don't want any other eyes looking at her. Even if it's my brother...”
