Chapter 32 His Coming
I kept staring at her. What should I do? Is it selfish to try to talk to the man who's the reason I want to stay in this world?
But how can I just ignore the woman in front of me who's only worried about my well-being and the well-being of the women who might end up in this world in the future?
I looked at the three women covered in ice again. One wrong decision and I could become one of them.
I started to stand and walked towards the women who looked like they were just sleeping. I don't know why they ended up like this, but as I watched them covered in the power of the prince who holds my heart, the corners of my eyes burned even more. My whole body couldn't accept that my prince had killed the innocent women in front of me.
I traced my hands over the block of ice covering them again before turning to the woman.
"Let me wait for the other three. Let me give them a chance to live again. Isn't that one of the abilities of the four women?"
Now she was stunned by what I said.
"You don't know what you're saying, Saera. That ability is limited."
I smiled bitterly at her. I know that, because I almost lost my strength just from healing. How much more if we give life again?
I turned to the three women again and slowly closed my eyes. I can feel them. It's like they want to say something to me.
"Help her..."
"I admire you, miss..."
"Thank you..."
When I opened my eyes, I felt my eyes were red. Were the things I heard real? Did these women really talk to me?
What do the three of them mean?
I don't know why, but I just put my forehead on the cold block of ice where the goddess with my symbol lay. I stayed in this position for a few seconds before turning to the woman with a wide smile on my lips.
I don't know if I can say that what I heard was a blessing from the women lying silently now, but there's only one thing I want to do right now. To explain my decision to this woman.
"I know my power is limited. But I promise to revive these three women, even if it costs me my own life."
I chose to look at the three women again.
"Where do you get the courage to say those things like you know everything?" she asked quickly.
I kept my back to her.
"I don't know either, Diamond Goddess. To be honest, I'm still not completely clear about the world I'm in. I'm still groping around like I'm solving riddles, but as I watch these women… the ice covering them. I just fall deeper for the most handsome prince of Wisteria."
I touched the ice covering them again. I'm sure it's from Kaizer's power.
"This ice was not meant to kill them but to preserve their bodies..." I said slowly. "Kaizer's ice is keeping the bodies of these women whole. My Kaizer was not a killer, deity. His power is just protecting these women. He can't kill humans… because he knows I'm one of them."
I wanted to explain more to the woman when I suddenly felt dizzy. Why? I didn't heal anyone and I drank enough blood. What's happening to my body?
The woman quickly caught me when I completely lost my balance, I also heard her call out some names before I felt someone pick me up.
"She needs blood," I first heard the voice of an unfamiliar man.
I felt blood dripping on my lips.
I had no choice when my fangs seemed to have a life of their own and started biting the man's wrist.
His blood is powerful because from the first bite, it immediately gave me strength. It's starting to bring back my blurry vision.
"Shit! She's beautiful sister..." I heard another voice say.
"Are you sure that she's already mated to that shit?" another man's voice again.
When I had drunk enough blood, I let go of the man's arm. And when I finally raised my eyes, it seemed like my vision was spinning even more.
Why does my vision seem to be doubled? Or should I say tripled? I shook myself several times, but the images of the men grinning at me now remained three.
"Hi, beautiful deity from Wisteria. I'm Timothy, free and mateless," said one man and quickly grabbed my hand to kiss it.
"Don't be confused, we're actually triplets. There's nothing wrong with your beautiful eyes. Hi, I'm Terrence. More handsome, free and mateless.”
Now the new man kissed my long hair.
All I could do was be confused by the three of them.
"I'm Tyrone. Most handsome, free, mateless and of course virgin. I hospitably offered my blood for you," the man I bit winked at me.
I could hardly see the difference between them. They're totally identical and goddamn handsome vampires.
"Come on, leave her alone..." I heard the woman scold.
"Tatiana, she's so adorable. Why I can't see a beautiful vampire like her in this empire?"
I don't know who said it among them.
"What is your name?"
I almost stepped back when one of them approached my face.
"Seara Yvaine Merriley, pretty and mated," I answered quickly, which made the three vampires scratch their heads at the same time.
"You shouldn't have asked, Timothy! That's a slap in our vampire faces!" one of them complained.
"Who cares? Her mate is too far from this empire," one answered.
One of them was about to speak again when the door suddenly opened. There was a uniformed man with a crow on his shoulder. He immediately took the letter from its beak.
"There's news from the neighboring kingdom of Avirife, the Valmere."
"This is from the Princess of Nalva Valmere, we are informing our neighboring empires that we are currently experiencing an untimely snowstorm that is destroying the livelihood of our people. Hundreds of large flying birds have been seen approaching the border of the Nalva empire and if the empire that is the target of the daring Prince of Igor Wisteria does not start to move, we will not hesitate to start the seventh widespread war."
Kaizer…
"Are you saying something, Terrence?" I heard one of the men say.
I couldn't help but smile at the news I heard. How did Kaizer know I wasn't in the other world?
I met Tatiana's eyes.
"Princess Tatiana, it seems you can't keep me away from the snow prince. He's coming for me.”
