Chapter 22 Prince’s Wrath
Idris completely became a wolf. He's not like Hailey, who is white. His very thick fur is gray, while his eyes are golden, like his eyes when he first stared at me.
He's probably the biggest and most beautiful wolf I've ever seen in this world.
"Can...can I touch you?" I asked hesitantly.
He himself approached me and slightly brushed his very thick fur against my face. He's so soft.
I noticed that his neck was still slightly bleeding. Shit. I really can't control my thirst.
"Thank you, Idris."
I slightly stroked his head. He turned his back to me as if he wanted me to ride him. Maybe he'll take me to a place where I can get out. I immediately rode him, and when he made sure that I was in a good position, he quickly ran.
'Saera, I know you're near. I can feel your presence.'
'Kaizer! I have good news for you!'
'Oh god! Saera baby, are you hurt? Did they hurt you? Fuck. I'll wipe out those wolves. I'll wipe them out. I'll wipe out their race.'
This is what I'm talking about.
'Kaizer, you can't.'
'I can.'
'Kaizer, actua-'
I couldn't continue what I was going to say when we met Kaizer with Gavin, Travis, and Randall.
Large blocks of ice suddenly appeared on both sides of Idris and me.
"Kaizer, wait. He is my friend."
The snow prince's eyes turned even redder at what I said. He's staring now at my hands holding on to Idris's thick fur.
I can't leave Idris's side because the moment I disappear from behind him, Kaizer won't hesitate to kill the wolf who helped me. I won't let that happen.
"Kaizer, listen..."
Travis and Randall whistled at the same time.
"Seems like my brother gained another best friend," Randall said, laughing. "There's already a second prince from Aetherio, the crazy Gavin."
"Oh! Just fuck yourself, Randall," Gavin said irritably, holding thorny whips.
"Here goes the other one. Saera, do you know the wolf you're with? He's the future Alpha king in the entire Igor empire. Pity the two Romeos with us, Travis, they're just princes."
I could feel Kaizer's icy anger because the temperature was starting to drop again. In fact, the entire forest was almost covered in white.
I noticed Kaizer's eyes on Idris's fur, which had blood. Oh shit.
'Did you drink his blood?'
I could only stare at Kaizer. Can Idris already hear my pounding chest?
I can't answer Kaizer because the whole environment will surely freeze even more. My lips are probably going to burst from the cold, especially from Kaizer's gaze.
'Saera, I'm asking you.'
I'm afraid to answer him.
'Don't kill him, please.'
'Fuck! Just answer me!'
'Y..yes. I did drink his blood,' I answered with difficulty.
'Great!'
I know that's sarcastic.
"I'm tired."
I was stunned when Kaizer turned his back to me. And he quickly disappeared in front of me. Shit, I'm crying. Kaizer turned his back on me. Only Gavin, Travis, and Randall remained.
'Zen...I did drink his blood becau-'
I couldn't continue because he cut it off. But what surprised me even more was seeing the mountains not far from us, full of snow, starting to collapse.
"Yohooo. Avalanche! Damn you, Kaizer, Aetherio will really kick us out," Randall shouted.
Travis quickly approached us.
"I don't know how you won Saera's heart. But she's my brother's mate. My brother won't spare you, even if you're the king of kings," Kaizer said seriously to Idris as he took me from him.
"Thank you," I said softly to Idris as Travis carried me, quickly running because of the collapsing icy mountains.
I saw Idris also run away. I'm thankful that their place is far from here, the collapsing mountains won't reach them.
"What did you say to Kaizer, Saera? The snow prince walked out, damn it," Randall said, laughing, also running with Travis.
"Are you guys stupid? Didn't you see that the wolf has a vampire bite? You betrayed me, Saera," Gavin said dramatically, slightly smelling the rose he was holding while running.
"The snow prince is going to be jealous."
Randall couldn't stop laughing.
"You're the idiot, Randall, you fueled it, so he froze even more."
I really wanted to punch Randall. If he hadn't said Kaizer's position as the second prince, he wouldn't have gotten so heated.
"If I were you, you'd pack your bags back to your empire because at this time, my brother's nose is already smoking. The second prince of Wisteria is really stupid, why did he have to collapse a mountain? He's too crazy in love. Look at me? Why doesn't he imitate me?"
The three of us probably frowned at what Gavin said at the same time.
"Who isn't crazy?" Randall repeated his question from earlier.
I just smiled bitterly while watching Gavin walk away. He's still waiting for that woman. Who is she? Have I seen her in the human world?
"Randall, we're going to be caught. Kaizer is really an idiot. Then if Saera gets scratched, he'll kill us both? Damn it, how do we stop this?" Travis complained.
"You're the only one who's going to be killed, I'm not the one carrying Saera. You guys go ahead, I'll take care of it here."
"Alright," Travis answered.
"How is that possible? Can he stop that?" I asked Travis while watching Randall get smaller in my sight.
"It's either he'll make it possible, or he'll die."
What the fuck is that?
"Oh my god!"
"Of course, that's not true, Saera. Randall is just bragging. He'll be following us soon--"
Travis didn't finish.
"I don't want to! Kaizer is really an idiot! Let's just run away."
The avalanche is getting closer to us. Shit.
"We can't make it. Call Kaizer, Saera. Tell him that we're going to be caught by his nonsense."
I was about to call Kaizer in my mind again when I was almost gaping. What is this again?!
"Is it...Is it? Tsunami?! Why didn't I see a sea earlier?! Where did that come from?" I just shouted.
"What the hell?!" Travis and Randall cursed at the same time.
The two vampires I was with were running twice as fast.
"Why are we the ones being caught by the king, Travis?"
Randall just scratched his hair while running.
"Ask your brother," Travis answered flatly.
"This tsunami...is it from the king?"
"Yes."
