Chapter 19 Werewolves Raid
If before I only saw these kinds of creatures in shows, now they are right in front of me. In fact, I am now one of those they call vampires, and I am currently surrounded by unusual wolves.
"Are they the ones that turn into people?" I asked Kaizer, worried.
Kaizer didn't answer me, and instead, he ran quickly to get me away.
"Randall!"
With just one call to his brother, he immediately came to us.
"Take care of her," Kaizer said coldly.
"But I want to fight," Randall complained.
Kaizer just looked at him with cold eyes before he sighed in surrender.
"Alright," Randall answered, bored.
"Stick to him, no matter what."
Kaizer quickly kissed my forehead before he went back to where we came from earlier.
"What do the werewolves want here?"
Damn. We're in the middle of cuddling each other.
"I don't know. Maybe because of you?" Randall answered me, looking at where we came from earlier.
"What do they want from me?!"
How many more kinds of creatures want to chase me?
"I don't know," Randall repeated his answer.
He's really lazy to guard me.
"Why don't you just go to them? I'm fine here. Kaizer probably won't let any wolf get close to me. Go there and satisfy yourself," I said to him, annoyed.
"Then Kaizer will kill me? Let's just watch."
Randall sat down as if he wasn't sitting on ice.
"Whatever."
I just rolled my eyes at him.
It's starting to thunder again because of Travis's power. The snow is falling again, and plants are currently crawling from the forest.
"Are they going to kill those wolves?" I asked Randall.
"With Kaizer and Gavin? Both having cut-throat attitude? Those wolves will definitely perish."
I stopped at what Randall said. Is killing really natural in this world? Can't they have some peace talk to avoid this killing?
"Can I talk to them? Maybe they have a deep reason why they're here."
Randall's eyes widened at me.
"Are you insane or something? Werewolves are vampire's mortal enemy. We don't do this talking, killing is the most ideal way to deal with them."
I didn't answer Randall and just watched how Kaizer and his companions were easily defeating the wolves.
These three vampires are too powerful. I looked away when blood started to spill on the very white snow that scattered all over the place.
"Why is Gavin here again?"
He almost killed me in my clear memory.
"Didn't we tell you that he will chase you until he takes you away from Kaizer? He's obsessed of getting something from Kaizer."
I want to blame the woman who ran away from Gavin. If she hadn't run away from Gavin, he wouldn't be like this.
I noticed that more wolves were arriving. Where are my grandfather's men? Don't they even know that the front of their mansion is being attacked?
"Fuck!"
I was just surprised by Randall's curse. And when I looked at their fight again, a black and big wolf was currently on top of Kaizer.
"Kaizer!"
I quickly grabbed Randall's arm.
"Help him! Help him, Randall," I said, panicking.
"I can't, I can't leave you here. Kaizer can han-"
"I said, HELP HIM!"
I stopped when Randall's eyes suddenly turned red, and he suddenly disappeared from my sight. The wolf that Kaizer was fighting was immediately thrown away because of Randall's strength. What the hell is that?
"Fuck! Randall! I said stay with Saera!"
Kaizer ran quickly just to get to me, but it was too late because I felt a strong hit on my head. I immediately felt my body on something soft, and as I tried to see clearly, I gently touched it because of its softness and whiteness.
"Give her back!"
What the hell is happening? I'm dizzy, I feel like I'm riding a very fast roller coaster. Why do I feel like I'm running? What am I riding?
"Fuck you Gavin! You can't just hit your damn vines! You might hit my Saera!"
Hit me? Why would I get hit?
"I won't hit my girl."
His girl? What the hell?
"Oh fuck! Stop the fight you idiots! You're not the enemy now! They're getting away!"
I only heard Travis's voice until their voices completely disappeared from my hearing.
I tried to open my eyes again even though my vision was spinning. I also wanted to throw up, I felt like my stomach was being squeezed.
"Where am I?"
I hugged the white wolf I was riding even tighter.
"Oh my god!"
I didn't know if I should let go or hug it even tighter. I don't want to fall because I'm sure I'll get hurt because of the speed of the wolf I'm riding.
But it didn't take long before it suddenly fell, so I rolled over in the grassy field. Fuck. What will happen to my whole body?
I heard the wolf groan slightly as if it was in pain. It couldn't even stand up. I don't know why, instead of getting away from it, I forced my hurting body to approach it. I was just stunned when it slowly turned into a human right in front of my eyes.
A young beautiful woman. If you base her appearance on my world, she's not far from my age.
She's totally naked in front of my eyes. But I can say that her body is very beautiful and will surely be a hit with men in the human world. I immediately noticed that she was hit in her legs.
"You're hit."
I approached her slightly.
"Don't touch me! Leave! Aren't you supposed to escape from me?" she said bravely despite the pain in her legs.
"You need me, why? I'll help you."
She stared at me as if she couldn't believe what I said.
"Are you kidding me, vampire? All we need is your blood for our father's disease. We will keep the last drop of your blood for future diseases that may affect our race."
So, they need my blood.
"Then I'll help your pack. You don't need to kill me, we don't need to kill each other."
I don't know what I'm doing anymore. And I don't know where my words are going. I can't just let myself watch Kaizer and any other vampires kill and protect me. And I will not let more blood spill in this world, if I can prevent it.
Just because killing is natural in this world doesn't mean I'll just let blood spill. Life is important, whether it's a human, a vampire, a wolf, or any kind of creature in this world.
I closed my eyes and bit near my wrist. I slightly sucked my own blood and slowly bent down to put my blood on the woman's fresh wound from Gavin's sharp plants, which is his power. Like what I did to her first wound, I also put my blood on it.
"I don't know what my blood can do, this is the first time I've done this. I hope it will work."
I kept staring at her wounds. And a smile slowly appeared on my lips when I saw it starting to heal.
"So it's true. The four women are real."
