Have A Taste

Annabelle shivered slightly. She took two steps away from him. Her gaze met the floor. She could feel her cheeks turning red at the use of his words.

"Why do you have to use such languages?" She asked, staring everywhere but him.

"What languages?" He asked, with a slight shrug of his shoulders, as he took a step closer towards her, a hint of nonchalance coloring his words.

Annabelle took a step back. "Never mind." She muttered, glancing up at him.

"When do we get going?" She asked.

"In an hour. I haven't had breakfast yet." He replied, his intense gaze still boring holes into her body.

"Then why did you call for me, if you weren't ready yet?" She asked, with a scoff.

"Don't scoff at me!" He stated, his tone warning.

Annabelle rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She muttered almost inaudibly.

"Answer my question." She added, her voice louder this time.

"Well, let's just say I wanted to see your pretty face again." He replied, placing a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Annabelle stared up at him. It was as if his grey eyes were staring deep into her soul. She diverted her gaze, moving it downwards to his lips.

How can someone be so dangerously handsome? His lips looked so damn kissable. His sharp jawline. Everything about his face just screamed perfection.

She knew that she shouldn't be thinking about this, but she couldn't help but think how it would feel to have a taste of his beautiful lips.

She gazed longingly at his lips, not willing to look away. Riccardo noticed her gaze, and he leaned in closer.

"Wanna have a taste?" He asked, there was a hint of amusement in his tone.

Annabelle stepped back. "Have a taste of what? I don't see any food around here." She said, feigning ignorance.

"My lips of course." He shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal.

Annabelle mentally faced palmed herself. He was really good at talking dirty, wasn't he?

"I don't." Annabelle replied firmly.

"Well, your eyes says something different." He stated, bringing his hands closer, he began trailing it it up her cheeks.

Annabelle was tempted to slap his hands away, but it felt good. His touch sent flutters of butterflies down her stomach.

Her cheeks started turning to a shade of rosy hue.

When his palms reached the side of her lips, she gasped lowly. Riccardo smirked.

He suddenly removed his hands from her face and Annabelle winced at the feelings of his hands being away.

"Go back to your room. I'll send someone to call for you when it's time to go." He stated firmly, his gaze now turning cold, which Annabelle didn't fail notice.

She couldn't help but wonder what it was with the people here? Their faces so Cold and unreadable. She glanced back at him.

One minute, he was so carefree and the next, he is as cold as Ice.

"Okay." Annabelle muttered lowly. Turning around, she darted out of the hallway, making her way back to her room.

Riccardo turned back to stare at the window. After a few minutes, he walked away.

Annabelle walked into her room with heavy steps, the sound of her feet echoing silently inside her now quiet room.

She threw herself on the bed. What was she supposed to do now? She wondered, her eyes darting around the room.

Rising from the bed, she opened her closet. Searching through the section for bags, she found a bag fit for her lectures.

"I think this will be perfect." She whispered to herself, bringing it out of the closet. She went ahead to search through the wardrobe beside the closet and she found a note book and a pen. She took them both and placed inside her bag.

"I'm ready now." She muttered.

A knock sounded on her door. "Come in." She said, loud enough for the person outside to hear her.

The door swung open and a maid walked in with her luggage.

She quickly ran and took it from her. She actually thought that she won't get it again. "Thank you." She muttered.

The maid acknowledged her thanks with a slight nod of her head. Turning around, she walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her.

Annabelle opened her suit case. "Thank goodness." She breathed, seeing that nothing had been tampered with. She began arranging her things.

Keeping her facial products on the vanity table. Her novels inside the drawer of her nightstand. It was a short notice but she couldn't miss carrying any of her essential needs. After emptying her suitcase, she kept it by the corner of her room.

Glancing around her room, she breathed out in relief. "Everything is perfect now." She whispered, clasping her hands together.

"Wait! I suddenly remember. Where is my phone?" She wondered. She could remember putting it inside her suitcase, so where could it have gone.

"Could it be that Riccardo has it?" She thought.

"Does this mean that he saw what was in my bag?" She gasped, embrassed. As she recalled that her panties and bras where the first thing in her suitcase as soon as she opened it.

"He is starting to get on my nerves." She sighed, cracking her fingers, she began pacing around her room.

She was used to her phone than any other thing. She didn't bring her credit cards with her, how was she going to get a new phone. Tapping her foot nervously against the floor. She thought of what she could do. What she was going to say to Riccardo, so that she could get her phone back.

"Chill, Annabelle. You're thinking to much." She sighed, rolling her eyes.

Her thoughts suddenly drifted, she had been to occupied by Riccardo's presence that she forgot what led her to being here. She thought about her parents, if they were feeling happy after selling her. If their company was now getting back on it's feet. If she'd ever get out of here.

How she was going to escape. What was going to be her fate in the mean time. All those questions swirled in her mind, but no answer came. Just then, a knock sounded on her door.

Annabelle composed herself before going to open the door. If she thought that the lady that brought her to her room was cold, then she was still learning, because the person standing in front of her right now was as cold as Ice!

No even a trace of warmth on his face. His eyes held no emotions, just staring at him, goosebumps filled her skin. And when he spoke up, she gasped lowly. If the word 'Cold and Icy' was a person then he was standing right in front of her.
