Chapter 14 Lose Temperament
Sarah
To break the silence just as he was about to speak, I averted my gaze and held my breath. My words were unusually peaceful, yet tinged with mockery: "If you free time, he'd better prepare plenty of snacks for his brother..."
My voice trailed off. I didn't stop. I calmly walked out of the room, silently repeating: "Peace, peace, peace, don't see him."
However, as I opened the door, my heart began to pound uncontrollably. The force in my hand was so fierce and heavy that I even heard the door sound, and Shawn also heard it.
Shawn naturally heard this voice. A playful glimmer flickered in his eyes, and he quietly said to Tony: "It seems your Ma’m has a bad temper and is easily aroused..."
Tony snorted and replied: "No! "Teacher's good temperament is known throughout the school!"
"Really?" Shawn responded casually and formally, and he didn't agree with Tony’s words.
Sitting down, Tony rubbed his hand and held it out to his brother, explaining that he was still bragging: "Miss Sarah gave me a Christmas present. She knitted it herself. Isn't it very clever?"
A pair of white woolen gloves came into view. Shawn's eyes gleamed slightly. After staring at them for a few seconds, he stepped back and said, "This is really ugly..."
As soon as I reached the highway, a car suddenly pulled out in front of me. As Kate got out, she slapped me and said, "You're about to take my fiancée away from me. I won't forgive you for that."
Hearing this, I rushed toward her, grabbed her hair tightly, raised her hand, and mercilessly struck her: "Are you still using me to remind yourself of what you've done with all your conscience?"
I never hurt anyone. Kate is the first. Now I just want to strangle her!
Speak more quietly, and only two people will hear Kate’s smirk: "What if I did this? Sarah, if you have the strength, kill me now; otherwise, you'll definitely regret it!"
“Not only are you incapable of admitting your mistakes, but you're also still insane!”
I finally shook off the last of my feelings. I reached out to her, venting my anger.
I didn't resist. Kate simply endured, but a disdainful smirk curled the corners of her lips.
The number of pedestrians kept growing. They were even causing traffic jams. Finally, some people couldn't see it anymore. A loud voice blared: "Call the police! If this continues, people will die! Call the police!"
But a moment later, the police car stopped, and two police officers emerged: "What's going on?"
All the spears pointed at me: "She's a teacher. She hit someone on the street. The victim didn't even wave her hand. We can all testify!"
When the police approached, they grabbed me by the arm and said, "Take them back to the station!"
I still haven't come to my senses. I am struggling, squirming, and screaming, "Let go! Let me go!"
How could the police have heard me and taken me straight to the police car with Kate and the witness?
Shawn
Not far.
In the black Land Rover, I squinted slightly. What I'd just seen was completely lost in my eyes.
It wasn't that I wanted to see it, but the movement had frozen me. Moving forward was impossible, so all I could do was enjoy the farce.
But I also witnessed a woman screaming furiously. And it was none other than Sarah White.
"Sir, are you going back to work or to your mansion?" The movement finally dissipated, and the driver sighed.
"To my mansion," I said softly. I returned to my simple gaze without any emotional hesitation.
At that moment, the mansion door swung open from the outside, and Tony immediately brightened, his voice lightening. "Ms. Sarah..."
It wasn't Sarah who entered, but me. I approached him, tossing my black coat onto the sofa. I looked up, glanced at Tony, and lazily sat down. "You've welcomed Sarah very warmly..."
Disappointed, Tony sat down on the sofa and, without saying a word, stared at the clock.
It was already 8:30. Why hasn't she arrived yet?
I removed my tie. I was wearing only a gray shirt. My strong chest muscles supported the loose, stylish shirt. I glanced sideways at Tony. My voice was quiet. "Go and rest." "Your Teacher isn't coming today..."
Hearing this, Tony immediately turned around: "Why?"
"To the police," I replied weakly, shuffling through the documents on the tea table.
Surprised, Tony couldn't help but wonder: "Why did you go to the police? And how did you find out?"
I kept my head down, my voice indifferent, my legs crossed on the tea table: "I just happened to see..."
Now Tony was worried and complained: "Now that you've seen it, why don't you take her out?"
"Who is she?" I pursed my lips serenely. I glanced around with an undeniable dignity. "Go back to your room and rest. If you quarrel with me again, go back to our old house alone..."
Hearing this, Tony held his breath, didn't utter a word. He reluctantly went into the room.
Tony's room was locked, but I seemed lost in thought. My eyes glittered, a glimmer of something flickering in them.
The pen in my hand was writing something. Suddenly, the silence was broken by the ringing of my cell phone. I picked up the receiver in a deep voice: "Hello?"
My mother didn't know what to say. My brows slowly furrowed, and my hand clenched between my brows. I was completely helpless.
My mother was also helpless: "I know, but at least it's your future fiancé. Shawn go police station and save your fiance and her sister..."
"Okay, Mom, I understand. Get some rest..." I replied again and hung up.
Tony, who had been eavesdropping behind the door, smiled, but quickly closed the door the next second.
Because Tony saw his older brother's icy eyes, which were truly terrifying!
However, Tony was completely helpless and forced. Tony didn't dare attack the lion, so Tony had to start with his mother.
