Chapter 13 Big Brother, Hurry Up
Sarah
Driven by doubt and curiosity, I walked around the porch and moved forward with light movements of my arms and legs.
As soon as my front foot stepped into the living room, a huge LCD screen on the opposite wall came into view.
Flushed and hesitant, I lowered my gaze. At that moment, I noticed two people on the sofa.
Tony stared intently at the screen, continuing to express his opinion: "Brother, don't you think this woman's voice is too beautiful? And look at her chest; it should be full, and her legs should be straight and long..."
Shawn had obviously just taken a bath; his hair was still damp, and his comfortable, casual lounge clothes were also high, straight, and elegant. A stack of documents lay before him, and he was leafing through them.
Clearly aware of the direction of his gaze, his fingertip paused slightly, lifted, and his deep gaze settled on me.
Without a hint of surprise or embarrassment, Shawn raised his eyebrows and looked at me. Shawn pursed his thin lips and said, "Sarah White."
Tony, still staring intently at the screen, timidly turned his head upon hearing Sarah White.
Then, Tony's face instantly flushed, and he cursed softly. His slender body leaped up from the sofa and hastily attempted to close the screen, but, unable to do so, he quickly stepped forward, covering my eyes with both hands, leaving no gap.
After all this, he quickly glanced at his older brother and exclaimed sheepishly, "Brother, hurry up!"
In contrast to his embarrassment, Shawn was happy. He leaned over, placed his slender hand on the control panel on the marble coffee table, and turned off the screen...
When everything around him had become completely quiet, Tony coughed twice and released his hand. "I'll make some coffee first."
The voice faded, and the figure was nowhere to be seen. He didn't wait for me to speak.
Seeing this, I swallowed my words, sat down on the sofa, and looked around.
The room was very large and luxurious. The color scheme was very monochromatic. Only two colors: black and white. I found that, sitting here, I could see the sea!
Still surprised, I heard Shawn's quiet voice. "Why are you here?"
"Tony wrote this address in the 'Home Address' column," I answered honestly.
Hearing this, Shawn narrowed his eyes and fired straight at Tony, who was carrying coffee.
Under his cold gaze, Tony involuntarily shuddered. His older brother must have realized he'd written the address here, not at home.
Without coffee, I merely looked at Tony and said, "The final exam is in two days. What are you planning to do?"
Tony responded very smoothly and naturally, interrupting my previous words: "I have things to do. I don't have time to go to school."
"Anthony!" I shouted.
"In any case, you won't agree to be a tutor. I'll never return to school to take the final exam. You know I always do what I say!"
I taught him for months. Of course, I know his temperament. Moreover, by coming here today, I compromised.
"Well, let's talk about it right now," I changed the subject. "You're twenty years old. It's normal to be curious and impulsive about such things. These movies aren't meant to be watched, but to be properly understood..."
I never discussed this topic with the boys. Although I pretended to be calm, my cheeks were still flushed.
At that moment, Tony's embarrassment vanished; I smiled and nodded.
Shawn, silently reviewing the documents, overheard their conversation. His gaze slid over the shy, red, and serious face, its thin lips drawn tightly together.
Did Sarah really think this guy was an ignorant brat? He's afraid he won't be able to watch dozens of such films, and he even has practical experience.
"And Shawn..." My gaze darted toward him. "As a big brother, are you spoiling him so much?"
This criticism and discipline seem to boil down to him.
Shawn looked up, narrowed his eyes slightly, and casually leaned back on the sofa, feeling lazy. "Didn't you just say that it's normal for him to be curious and impulsive. I have no reason to forbid him from watching films, right?"
I took a deep breath for a moment to suppress the anger in my heart. "That should also give him the right idea, right?"
I thought I wasn't easily angered, but he could always easily provoke his wrath with three or two sentences.
His slender fingers rested on his forehead, and Shawn gently stroked them. At the same time, he gazed at me for a moment, frowned, and said solemnly, "Which concept is correct? Which posture is better?"
Hearing this, my eyes widened, anger welled up in my heart, my chest heaved, and even my hairy blood vessels showed, I ground my teeth, asshole billionaire..
“Shawn!" He's just... Just... Unreasonable... Unreasonable.
Shawn's eyebrows rose again. The room was quite cool. My cheeks flushed slightly, tinted by the soft yellow of my down jacket, making my skin appear thick and white.
Suddenly, the absurdity of that night came flooding back.
His eyes darkened significantly, his thin lips trembled, and the quiet words began to flow again.
"How are men supposed to make women happy? Or in what way?"
It makes my hair stand on end! This is outrageous! Is he supposed to say this in front of Tony, like an older brother?
Isn't he afraid of confusing Tony?
I gritted my teeth again: "Shawn, is this your good behavior?"
I completely misunderstood everyone else's words and even distorted their meaning. I was so angry I almost jumped up!
Hearing this, Shawn smiled indifferently: "It seems you haven't received any other things. Didn't anyone tell you that he should ring the doorbell before entering someone else's house?"
"You..." I was speechless, his hands hanging by his sides, slowly clenched, and he glared at him.
Still as elegant as ever, he raised his eyes, glanced at me briefly, and even began a longfeifeng dance.
The air in the room suddenly grew tense. Tony, who had been standing to the side, seemed to disappear between them, becoming translucent.
