Chapter 11 Disobeying The Arrogant Billionaire

Chapter 11 Disobeying The Arrogant Billionaire
Sarah

A slight shudder ran through my body. I felt uneasy, but I straightened up, trying to ignore the tall, powerful figure that emanated such a powerful presence, and spoke in a lecturing tone.

"I apologize for asking you to come to school when parents are so busy. The purpose of this parent-teacher meeting is to report to your parents on the students' academic performance this year and their overall academic performance.

When I point out the names of the following parents, please respond..." I asked the parents of the top ten students in the class, who had achieved excellent results.”

My voice was not slow. I seemed hoarse from a cold, but I wasn't complaining about the benefits. Speaking of students, I was radiant and full of energy.

His eyebrows rose, and Shawn's gaze fell on me. He narrowed his eyes and looked at me.

Taking a deep breath, I forced myself to speak calmly: "Tony's family?"

Tall Shawn Romano leaned back lazily and replied in a deep voice, "Yes."

His soft and inviting voice caused the surrounding women's gazes to linger on him for a moment. He was now the parent of my student, not the man who humiliated me!

Watching him again, I raised my head and calmly said, "Do you know what Anthony's school ranking is?"

Shawn remained leaned back lazily, but his handsome face was slightly slanted, and the bridge of his nose was straighter. He seemed to be listening intently, which was very endearing.

"He always ranks second from last in all exams. There have never been any accidents. I hope Mr. Romano can pay more attention to his school."

If other parents had heard this ranking in front of so many people, they might have been embarrassed or blushed, but it was still light and elegant. "How many seniors are there in the entire school?"

I answered honestly, "Two thousand and nine."

His slender fingers flicked his sleeves, baring his jaw, and he said casually, "Isn't there another one after that? 2899. That’s a very good ranking..."

I didn't expect such an answer. I froze for a moment. A moment later, I returned to him, a hint of irony in my heart.

The thoughts of the rich are truly different from those of ordinary people. Even if they always finish first on exams, they needn't fear the future.

“Your thoughts are truly unique..."

"Average." His thin lips curled into a smile, but he glanced at me. The four eyes locked on each other. My heart sank slightly.

The parent-teacher meeting soon came to an end. As soon as it's ended, Shawn pushed back his chair, rose on his feet, and walked out.

Tony waited outside for a long time: "Big Brother."

"Yes..." Shawn nodded and, after a moment, opened his mouth: "So that's how you passed your exam?"

Tony coughed lightly and smiled. "Brother, why do you say that the prices of goods in big shopping malls always end in 9? That shows that hope is precious. Listen to 2099 and 2899. Which one is more sensitive?"

"Do you consider yourself a product that stands out in the mall?" Shawn looked at him calmly and warned, "Next time you dare test me, 2899!"

"When will my big brother ever care about my ranking? Next time, I won't take 2899; I'll take 2898. That ranking is also very good."

"Next time, if you don't make it into the top 1000, all expenses will be suspended..." Shawn said coldly.

Hearing this, Shawn shrugged helplessly: "Brother, in that case, you must promise me one condition!"

"What conditions?"

It's already noon, time to send the students' parents away. Time for lunch.

I stretched and walked out the school gates, but a black Bentley stopped in my path.

Forced, I took a few steps back, and the window rolled down. I was surprised and speechless. How... How... Could it be him again?

Shawn looked at me, then his gaze fell on Tony, sitting next to him. He pursed his thin lips and muttered faintly, "Get out!"

When the door opened, Tony stepped out of the car, smiled, and made a gentlemanly gesture. "Ma’am, get in. My elder brother needs to talk to you."

What could they be talking about?

My heart skipped a beat, and I glanced at the man in the car and asked warily, "What happened?"

Tony smiled and coughed softly. "About my studies."

My spirit seemed strained, and licking my lips, I said, "Since it's about studying, he'd better go to my office."

"My big brother has such a special personality. Reporters might be here now, so I'd better find a quiet place."

His voice trailed off, and without waiting for me to respond, Tony opened the back door, pressed me against his shoulder, and immediately shoved me inside, then climbed into the co-pilot's seat.

"Big Brother, where are you going?" Tony asked, looking at him from the side.

"I'm hungry." Shawn's voice was quiet and slightly hoarse. He leaned back in his seat, closed his eyes, and pretended to sleep. His gaze slid over me.

The feeling of pressure from the others was so intense that I frowned. I sat there, uneasy, not daring to move.

Even though Tony and the driver were in the car, the feeling of oppression didn't subside; on the contrary, it grew stronger.

Even though his gaze didn't move as he watched, I could still see it clearly. The car moved smoothly along the road and finally stopped in front of an expensive restaurant.

In an elegant and luxurious private room, the three sat in front of a medium-rare steak and a bottle of red wine.

Tony ordered the steak. He kept asking me what I wanted and took out the menu so I could order. But I only wanted to leave, refusing at all costs, again and again. How can I spend time with this asshole?

But my refusal was useless. Tony ordered the steak medium anyway, which had led to the current situation. The thick red wine slowly flowed down the clear glass, its soft aroma instantly filling the room.

Shawn's gaze fell on me. He stared at me for a few seconds, then set the red wine down. "Are you sure you want to stand like this forever?"

They had both already sat down, but I still stood. This was quite unexpected. I was forced to sit.

For a moment, the only sound in the room was the sound of steak being cut. I clenched my fingers, and I broke the oppressive silence. "What do you want me to discuss?"

Hearing this, Tony didn't even bother to sip the red wine from his cup, making an excuse: "I'm going to the restroom."

As he left the room, he deliberately winked at Shawn.
