Fourty Six

Clive smiled, and took David in his arms. They kissed again, their lips meeting in a soft, sweet kiss that was full of promise. They began to undress each other slowly, savoring every moment. There was no rush, no need to hurry. They were taking their time, enjoying every second of this special night.

As their bodies were revealed, they gazed at each other with awe and wonder. They were both beautiful, and they both knew that this was something they would never forget. Their bodies moved together, as if they were made for each other.

As if they were created just for each other in this whole wide world. By a creator that knew that they would melt together like nothing else.

Time seemed to stand still as they explored each other's bodies, their skin touching like a thousand tiny electric shocks. It was as if they were in a bubble, cut off from the rest of the world. There was nothing but them, nothing but this moment. And it was perfect.

They came together, their bodies moving in perfect harmony. The pleasure was intense, overwhelming. It was like nothing either of them had ever experienced before. It was pure bliss, pure joy. And then, it was over.

They lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, their breathing slowly returning to normal. They smiled at each other exhausted but happy.

As they lay there, content and at peace, they knew that their lives had changed forever. They had been through so much, and now they had found each other. It was like they had been searching their whole lives for this moment, and now it was finally here.

The sun rose, and they watched it stream through the window, bathing the room in light. It was like a new beginning, a new chapter in their lives. And they knew that no matter what happened, they would always have this moment to remember. Always have this love to hold on to.

It was still early in the morning when the loud ring of Clive's phone woke them from their slumber.

A groaning Clive took the phone from the nightstand. He answered the phone while yawning. " Hello? This better be good Kenneth I'm sleeping here."

"I wouldn't be awake either if it wasn't. "

"Then tell me." Clive was in no mood for a chitchat.

" Naomi just lost another baby."

The shock of this made Clive to sit up in bed. " What?!"

"I didn't even know she was pregnant this time! She didn't tell me! And now she's ... " Kenneth was crying now on the other line.

While Clive was trying to find the right words to say to his cousin. Kenneth and Naomi had lost three babies in total now. Kenneth had told his wife that they should stop trying. That they would rather adopt but she had refused.

"I'm so sorry, Kenneth." Clive said, his voice full of compassion. "I know how much this must be hurting you and Naomi. Are you with her now?"

"I'm on my way to the hospital." Kenneth said, his voice choked with emotion. "I just don't know what to do. I don't know how to help her."

"You just need to be there for her." Clive said, trying to sound reassuring. "She needs you right now, more than ever. She needs to know that you're not going to give up on her, that you're not going to give up you guys as a family. Be strong cousin. Please be strong."

" Thank you Clive. I'll call you when I get there."

Clive nodded. " Okay keep me posted. Tell Naomi that I'm with her. "

After they hung up, Clive looked over at David. "That was my cousin, Kenneth. His wife, Naomi, just lost another baby."

David's eyes widened. "Oh my God, that's terrible. I'm so sorry." He said, reaching out to put a hand on Clive's arm. "I can't imagine how hard that must be for them."

Clive sighed, his eyes filled with sadness. "It's heartbreaking. I just don't know what to do to help them. I feel so helpless."

David squeezed Clive's arm. "You're already helping just by being there for them.

Clive nodded. Hugging David to him. " So last night happened huh?"

David shyly looked away from Clive. " Yes it did. And it was amazing."

Clive's heart swelled with love for David. "I'm glad you felt that way." He said softly. "I wanted it to be special for you, because you're so special to me."

A blush crept up David's cheeks. "You're pretty special to me, too." He said, his voice full of emotion. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Clive smiled, his eyes shining with happiness. "We're in this together, you and me." He said, leaning in to kiss David softly on the lips. "We're a team."

David smiled, his heart leaping for joy. He looked at the time. It was still early but they should have been up already to get cleaned up and fix up the room. " We should go shower." He told his husband.

Clive grinned. "Shower, huh? Together?" He wiggled his eyebrows playfully.

David laughed. "You're incorrigible." He said, getting out of bed. "But yes, together. We can save water that way."

"What a considerate husband I have." Clive teased, following David to the bathroom. "Maybe we can save even more water if we shower at the same time?"

"Oh, you're terrible." David said, rolling his eyes. "Let's just get cleaned up."

Once they were in the shower, though, it was hard to keep their hands to themselves but they knew that the day was still young so they'd have much more time to do whatever they wanted later.

After they finished showering, they got dressed and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. As they were cooking, David kept sneaking glances at Clive, admiring how handsome he looked in his jeans and t-shirt.
