As soon as the screams started, the door was kicked open as a group of people led by Andrew and Uncle Thomas rushed in.
Upon seeing Sharon's appearance, they were all shocked.
“Sharon, what happened?”
“Uncle Thomas, Mr. Johnson! You must help me!”
Sharon sobbed, biting her red lips as she pointed at Ethan, “This beast... wants to humiliate me!”
Upon hearing this, Uncle's eyes widened in anger as he cursed, “Ethan, you bastard, you can't leave Sharon even after the divorce, and now you want to humiliate her? You truly are an outrageous beast!”
“We, the Thomas family, have truly misjudged you!”
“You are nothing!”
The Thomas family cursed angrily.
“Ethan, don't assume that just because Miss Wilson is supporting you, you can do anything you want. Don't worry, Aunt Thomas and Sharon! With me present today, I’ll undoubtedly defend you!” Putting on a virtuous expression, Andrew turned to face Ethan and said, “I'm going to call Miss Wilson immediately and show her your real face! Then, let's see whether she still wants you! See if she'll still be willing to help you!”
A sly smile flashed across his lips as he waved his hand.
Click, click, click!
Behind them, a group of people took out their ready phones and cameras and started taking pictures of the two of them.
When Ethan saw this, his face became as cold as iron and his eyes narrowed. He wondered whether Sharon was hiding something from him when she approached him voluntarily. However, he never would have imagined that his ex-wife, who had lived with him day and night for three years, would band together with outsiders to paint him in this particular light.
This was putting him in a life-threatening situation.
Ethan stared at Sharon, his voice as cold as a blade, “I have already made Cloud Group and The Listening continue collaboration. Why are you still doing this?”
“Why?” Sharon sneered, her face filled with madness and resentment, “Ethan, you still have the gall to ask me why?”
“I asked for you to help the Thomas family, but what about you?”
“Would I have been violated by that filthy old man, Samuel, if you hadn't refused to help me? Would I still have to apologize to you in front of my entire family?”
She let out a cold and bitter laugh, filled with resentment, “Ethan, do find it fun to act superior in front of me and force me to bow down to you? Do you find it fulfilling? Let me tell you something!”
"In my heart, even though I bow down to you, you are nothing more than a waste—a stray dog that our family adopted! I, Sharon, will never let this stray dog to live in comfort if it dares to make me feel insulted and made fun of! I'll consume his flesh and drink his blood! I'll inflict pain on him till he dies”!
The more she spoke, the more ferocious her expression became. She wished she could see Ethan in a miserable state right now!
Hearing her words, Ethan felt his heart wrench in pain.
Were these her true thoughts?
Was this the wife he had cherished and held dear for the past three years?
He never expected that three years of love would amount to this.
Ethan's expression turned extremely cold.
Cold and indifferent, he swept his gaze around, looking at everyone who had a mocking and gloating smile as if they were all waiting for his death.
In their hearts, Ethan should be trampled under their foot!
However, he insisted on standing arrogantly above them, so he must die!
It’s what he deserved!
“I didn't expect it to be quite lively here with so many people gathered here, what happened?”
At this moment, a clear and melodious female voice came.
Beverly walked leisurely, followed by Jayden and some executives from Cloud Group.
“Miss Wilson, you finally arrived! You have to stand up for me!”
Sharon quickly stepped forward and cried out.
“Stand up for you?”
Beverly raised an eyebrow.
“This scum, he wanted to assault me!”
Sharon pointed at Ethan with hatred, “Miss Wilson, I'm not asking you to punish him, but please don't help this scum either!”
“He is a vile and blatant crook; I know that from having been married to him for three years! He committed a number of obscene acts under the Thomas family's name while he was with us!”
“And now, he wants to physically assault me in your name! He has committed offenses before! How many obscene things has he done behind your back? You shouldn't even let this kind of person to be your boy toy, and he needs to be disciplined!”
Sharon spared no effort to throw all the mud onto Ethan.
In Sharon’s eyes, Beverly had only known Ethan for a short time, so she could say whatever she wanted!
Ethan's face turned icy cold, silent.
Beverly couldn't help but laugh, glanced at Ethan, and said, “Alright, I understand. Don't worry, Ethan's matters has nothing to do with me, so you can do what you want with him.”
“But I want to ask, how do you plan to deal with him? Maybe I lend a hand.” Beverly smiled playfully.
“What! Help us?”
Everyone was first stunned, then pleasantly surprised.
“Miss Wilson is truly open-minded!”
“Thank you for Miss Wilson's help!”
Now that Ethan had lost his final support, even Beverly was going to deal with him as well. This useless man was done for today!
“Ethan, Miss Wilson has seen through your true colors and doesn't want to help a useless scum like you anymore. Now, get down on your knees and apologize to me! Otherwise, I’ll expose everything you’ve done.”
“Expose it, let everyone in New York know what kind of person you are! You'll be ruined! Become a disgrace!” Sharon screamed coldly.
“Ethan, your actions today could already put you in jail, but for Miss Wilson’s reputation, if you sincerely apologize and cripple yourself, we can let this matter go,” Andrew sneered.
“Hahaha... Become a disgrace? Cripple myself? You think that with you people… You’re worthy of doing that?!” Ethan suddenly burst into laughter, full of coldness and mockery.
‘It seems that the three years of love and my efforts have come to an end.’
"Sharon, I'm not sure why you feel so superior to other people. Do you honestly believe that you’re a refined princess and a business genius? Are you saying that the family only succeeded because of you? You might’ve shone brightly and led a fulfilling life when I valued you, but the moment I don’t, nobody would dare take you even if you sold your body! I'm going to turn every Thomas family member into a disgrace today!”
“You bastard! What did you say?!” Sharon glared with fury, trembling with anger.
“Who do you think you are to insult Sharon like this, Ethan? Stop spewing such nonsense!” Andrew also retorted angrily.
"Shut up!" With a snap, Ethan surveyed Andrew with his eyes like an untamed beast. "What makes you, a mere pampered Johnson family member in New York, worthy of yelling in my face? You still don't know your place and even ask for trouble again, even after I spared you the last time because I didn't want to deal with trash like you!”
“This time, I'll let you know that even though the Johnson family may be a king in New York, but in my eyes, you're nothing more than lowly ants!”
“You useless scum, what did you say? Miss Wilson won't help you anymore, so what rights do you have to be so arrogant!” Sharon screamed.
“Someone, get rid of this idiot for me!”
Sharon and Andrew's eyes turned bloodshot, filled with extreme anger.
Just as they were about to take action, Beverly suddenly remembered something and said, “Oh, by the way, there's something I forgot to tell you. I said I wouldn’t help Ethan, but that’s because if he wants to destroy all of you, he doesn’t need my help.”
What!
He doesn't need her help?
This statement instantly made those who were just about to quickly kill Ethan freeze in place.
Beverly swept a scornful gaze over the crowd and slowly continued, “Because his true identity is that he’s from the Wilson family, England’s noble family.”
