The Perfect Breakfast
The Perfect Breakfast
Georgia’s eyes popped open quickly. She felt the warmth of the blankets surrounding her and felt so comfortable and at ease. She couldn’t remember the last time she slept the entire night through or felt so rested. She noticed the sun had already risen. It must have been ten or so. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes as she got her bearings and reached for her glasses, but she couldn’t find them. She tried to squint her eyes to look around and his scent entered her nose as she heard him walk into the bedroom. She sat up quite disheveled in her matching lavender shorts and tank top. Her long black hair was down and all over the place.
Alexander smiled brightly at her as he handed Georgia her glasses and sat down on the bed next to her. She put them on and looked up and down at him. He had on only a pair of black and white plaid night pants. And she couldn’t stop staring at him. She did, however, manage to make sure her mouth was closed and she wasn’t drooling. His hair was a little messy but even just waking up he looked amazing. She pushed her hair down and hoped she looked presentable. It made him smile even more.
“Good morning, beautiful. You look perfect.” He said to her through his smile.
“Good morning.” She said quietly as she bit her lower lip.
“I don’t know about you, but that was the best nights sleep I have had since I was a kid.”
“Me too!” She was a little more enthusiastic.
“I had a lot of fun last night. That was the longest conversation that I have ever had with anyone in my life, and I enjoyed every moment of it.” His voice was deep and soft. Even though they had connected with each other, he could still tell that she was skittish and not completely at ease. She was reluctant to talk about some things. Especially if it had to do with Stark. He was conflicted. He wanted her. In every aspect of the word. But he didn’t like that she was trying to hide things. He kept reminding himself that it was only their first night together and he needed to be patient. She was probably more fucked up from working for Stark than Charles was. He knew Stark took her in when she turned 16, but didn’t know much after that.
“You did?”
Alexander nodded and got up on the bed closer to her. “It was a dream come true sleeping next to you, Georgia.” He watched the surprised expression on her face and smiled again.
“It was?”
He nodded and got closer to her. “It was.” He bent over and kissed her shoulder softly.
It gave her goosebumps, and she shivered. Her reaction made her blush.
“I enjoyed every moment of it.”
“Even though we didn’t…” her voice trailed off.
“Even though we didn’t.” He bent over and kissed her shoulder again. He loved watching the goosebumps form on her smooth skin wherever he kissed. “I’m very patient.” He said in between kisses. “Having you in my bed is good enough for now.”
“For now?” She blushed.
“For now. But I do reserve the right to tease you and make you blush.” He smiled mischievously and pushed her onto the bed exposing her midriff. He let out a low growl as he began to kiss her bare skin.
Georgia giggled at the sensation of his facial hair tickling her stomach.
“Ticklish. I like that.”
She wiggled to try to get away from him, but he held wrists and kept her steady.
“Uh-uh-uh. I get to tease you.” As his kisses got lower she felt the tickle turn into a tingle. He stopped below her belly button and brushed his lips along her skin.
The quiet sigh she let out turned into a moan and she felt him smile. He let go of her wrists and held onto her hips as he continued to kiss further down, slowly pulling her night shorts with him. Her hands found their way onto his head and her fingers played in his hair. He growled lowly again. This time Georgia felt the vibrations and her tingle started to feel a little bit warmer.
She tried to stifle a moan, but her mouth exposed her. Her fingers moved through his hair more ferociously and her toes began to curl.
“Hey guys. Are you two awake?” Lexy knocked on their door.
Silence.
“Wake up, we just got an invitation to have brunch with Alpha Bruce and Luna Cordelia. Stop doing grody stuff and get up.”
Alexander laid his forehead onto Georgia’s belly and sighed. She continued to run her fingers through his hair.
“Princess Alexandria has spoken.” He said quietly.
“I heard that. Get dressed.”
Georgia giggled and patted his shoulders and gently told him to get up.
The three of them walked down to a private room off the side of the dining hall with large windowed French doors overlooking the pond. They noticed that Pierce, Rosemary, Max, Frankie and Sandra were also at the table. Georgia’s face lit up immediately and she went over to greet everyone. Alexandria noticed they were genuinely happy to see her and wondered if they knew all the horrible things she had done.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Alpha, Luna.” Georgia slightly bowed and Cordelia got up and motioned for her to come and give her a hug.
“How are you, dear?” Cordelia asked her.
“I’m wonderful.” Georgia smiled.
“You and Alexander make a wonderful match. The Fates knew what they were doing putting you two together.”
Bruce shook Alexanders hand and Cordelia hugged Lexy as well.
“Well, now that we’re here, and we all have our memories back…”
Everyone except Alexander and Lexy chuckled. They looked around at everyone confused.
“We have one more person joining us.” Bruce stated.
Velvette walked in looking quite chic in her flowy baby blue pant suit.
“Oracle!” Rosemary beamed as she stood up. But she hesitated to give Velvette a hug.
“Come and hug me child. We’re among family. Everyone here knows my name… or will shortly.” She smiled playfully as Rosemary came over to give her a big hug, then they sat at the table. Velvette sat next to Bruce and Cordelia.
The mood was very lighthearted as they had breakfast together. They chatted and told jokes and stories of their lives making sure not to talk about the repeating 2 years. Except for Lexy stealing a disapproving glance at Georgia every once in a while and not liking the affectionate exchanges between her and her brother, it was the breakfast it should have been.
