A Visit to the Celestrial Realm

A Visit to the Celestrial Realm
Truth be told, thousands of years ago, The Fates never interfered in the affairs of humans and beast, but as the years went on, with the less involvement of the gods in the last seven hundred years, The Fates became more prevalent in their lives. With Selene’s help they ushered in a general peace that caused an awareness of self and others throughout the world. And with this, The Fates were in essence, no longer needed. They were not thanked or recognized, which was fine by them, however, they were… forgotten. And in being forgotten, man and beings were left to their own devices… their own beliefs and understandings. There were a few rogue humans or beasts who would thirst for power over the years. They would be triumphant for a moment and then were only known as a person in a history book. Some even became worldwide threats in some way. For the most part, however, the balance of good and evil stayed well kept. That was, of course, until Stark.
His greed and need for power were well beyond any they had ever seen. Even Clotho, at his birth, made mention of his thread and it’s darkness. They feared him and what he could do. They knew that the destruction, the madness, the evil that came from him would only get stronger with time. He, unlike any other living creature with free will, if given the opportunity, would have the power to end all life. Including theirs.
They have no power over the length of ones thread of life, but they do have power over who may fight them to restore the balance. And with that, they asked for Selene to intervene. She paired Rosemary with Nova, and Pierce with Lux and gave specific instructions to The Fates. These two years of knowledge being one of them.
“Rosemary…” Atropos began, “Was very innocent. This is true. But with innocence comes bad decisions. A child cannot make the decisions needed that an adult needs to make. Being an adult is not only age, but also the wisdom that comes with that age.”
“She needed to learn a hard lesson of life. She needed to be hardened in believing that everyone has her best interests at heart.” Lachesis continued.
“She needed to not only know but also understand that evil exists.” Stated Clotho
“In everyone and everywhere.” Stated Atropos.
“Without this lesson, she would be weak. Her role as Luna would strengthen Pierce as an alpha, but it would not strengthen them both as royal leaders.  She would not be able to rule the changelings of the world.”
“The world?” Velvette said in awe.
“Bruce and Cordelia are the only two royal full blooded lycans left in the world.” Clotho explained.
“Which means Rosemary…” Said Lachesis
“…is the last full blooded royal lycan.”  Whispered Velvette. “And what about Pierce?”
“He is half lycan. He just doesn’t know it yet. His father…” Stated Clotho
“Is in Bruce and Cordelia’s court.” Velvette understood.
“Exactly.” Atropos smiled.

“Nova needed her rest so she would be ready. She was awakened from the love she felt from Pierce, who finally understood, as well as the need to survive Rebekah’s attack. This gave her a balance.” Stated Lachesis as she took a bite of a cookie while Nova’s form appeared in the heavens above them.
“Rebekah has learned to go through pain and forgive. She still has a way to go, but she now understands; trust should never be freely given, and respect is something completely different.” Added Clotho.
“They needed this extra two years. Unfortunately, it also helped Stark.” Atropos stated.
“Why didn’t you just kill Stark?” Velvette asked.
“We cannot interfere in death. We must abide by the measure of the life thread. Even if the person is messing with timelines or balances.” Atropos answered. “And those are allotted by a higher power.”
‘Ahh.’ Velvette mouthed in reverence.
“Now that Rosemary understands the darkness, she must learn her balance. She must also learn how to use Nova to her advantage as well as the power of her mating bond with Pierce. It will be hard for them. But with the memories of the last two years, it will strengthen them.” Lachesis stated.
“And what of the time loop?”
“The time loop has been broken. Everyone is free of it. They will continue on with their lives as if it never happened.” Clotho answered
“With the lessons learned because it did.” Atropos added.
“All this to strengthen Rosemary in order to defeat Stark?” Velvette asked.
“All this to strengthen Pierce and Rosemary in order to defeat Stark.” Atropos answered. “It won’t be easy.”
“Don’t forget Max and Frankie!” Clotho added.
“Strength in numbers. They are, or will be, a brilliant team.” Atropos stated triumphantly.
The three nodded in agreement.
“You, our darling Velvette, cannot interfere, but you may help them… to a certain extent of course.” Said Lachesis.
“As usual, and in accordance to the rules of the royal family, when you have said too much, you will not be able to speak.” Atropos added.
“Rosemary will have a better understanding of the weight they will bare and what will need to be done in order to defeat Stark.” Clotho added.
“Oh! And they’ll need Georgia too.” Clotho remembered.
“And don’t forget Alexander.” Lachesis chimed in.
“Alexander?” Velvette asked.
The three nodded in unison.
“His pack is next to Pierce’s.” Clotho giggled.
“Alpha Alexander.” Lachesis smiled as she emphasized the word ‘alpha’.
“Without the changes in their lives, they never would have been able to speak to him. Things will go much differently at the ball than in their memories.” Said Atropos. “The best thing is, Stark will never know. He won’t be able to predict what happens like he did in the loop.”
“Nothing will happen the same as it did before.” Velvette understood.
The three nodded in unison again.
“If he is so evil, and shouldn’t have Rosemary as his mate, why are they second chance mates?” Velvette asked.
“They’re not. Not at all, dear.” Clotho said seriously.
“Stark has been putting that into Rosemary’s head since she was fifteen years old.” Said Lachesis.
“He was trying to figure out who her fated mate was so he could kill him at the ball so she would come to him in distress. But his plan didn’t work.” Atropos said angrily. “Trying to change people’s fates. He should get annihilated just for that.”
“And now?” Velvette asked.
“That won’t happen at all. Pierce and Rosemary know who each other are and are already connected.”
“Where is Stark now?”
“We can’t tell you, but we can say that he knows what happened and has left the ball. He knows that Pierce is alive.”
“And Georgia?”
“Well, we interfered a little bit.” Said Lachesis mischievously. “We helped by moving all of Georgia's things to Frankie's home in the Silver Moon Pack.”
“And we changed some things so that Stark thinks she’s gone completely.”
“Do Frankie and Georgia know this?”
“They will once you tell them.”
The four ladies continued to sit on the dark blue velvet couch as the heavens kept playing scenarios to entertain them.
