Omniscient Narrative

Two days later

The dim light flickered above Kai's glass prison, casting long shadows that danced eerily across the walls. 

Kai felt suffocated. Isolation and despair had become his constant companions, a bleak reality that gnawed incessantly at his heart. 

With a clashing clang, the heavy door to the confinement room creaked open, and Aries stepped inside, a sinister grin across his face. "Kai, my love," he called out, his voice dripping with mockery. "I come bearing gifts."

Kai's heart raced, the familiar dread pooling in the pit of his stomach. "What do you want now, Aries?" he demanded, trying to muster any semblance of strength he had left. 

"You said you wanted to go outside, I'm making your wish come true" Aries walked closer, an injection in his hand.

"What are you going to do with that?" A frightened Kai asked as he tried to back away.

Aries opened the glass door, he entered and walked up to the man who was backing away shaking his head while he pleaded for the other man to stay where he was. 

Aries finally caught the man and with much struggle he held him in place. 

"Oh, it won't even hurt a bit" he said, his voice low and conspiratorial before he injected the needle into Kai's arm. Kai cried out in pain before he felt his body getting calm. 

"It will only take a few minutes my beautiful Kai, it will all end soon, I promise" he said as he massaged the scalp of the man who was slowly loosing consciousness. 

"Why are you doing this" was the last thing Kai said before he let darkness consume him.

Kai stirred awake in the dark room, he brought his hand to his face as he tried to wipe the dizziness from his eyes. 

'Where am I?' He thought as he stared at the pitch black room, he literally couldn't see a thing and that was how he knew he wasn't in that glass box anymore. 

'Where has be brought me to?' 

"Hello?" Kai called out, but he didn't hear a reply, instead he heard muffled noises, as if someone was trying to talk but he couldn't. 

"Anyone here?" He called again, as he tried to walk without tripping over anything. 

And just like that the lights turned on, Kai hissed in irritation as the bright fluorescent lights flashed through his eyes, as if almost burning through them. 

"Fuck" he cursed as he blocked his eyes from the lights. 

"I see you're awake" he heard from behind him, making him look back and there in his all glory was Aries standing beside the light switch. 

Kai was about to say something when he heard those muffled noises again, he turned back to his front and was shocked at the sight in front of him. 

'What the fuck' the older man gulped at he looked at the tied up people in the room, they were all hanging on the walls of the -what he could assume- warehouse. 

"Aries what is this?" He asked with a shaky voice and a shaky hand as he pointed to the naked people in the room hanging on the walls, their bodies injured but their heads covered with a clothed bag. 

"Who are these people?" He asked as the younger man did not reply, instead Aries walked up to Kai. 

"Now Kai, you mean to tell me you don't know who these people are?" He asked as he leaned to Kai's ear, "I mean I wouldn't care if you didn't know the rest, but this one.." he pointed to the one who seemed to be on some type of stretching machine, his hands and legs tied to the contraption, a lever beside it as the chains dug into the person's skin. "This one you have to know" he smirked at Kai. 

"I-I don't- I don't know what you're saying, who are these people, why are you doing this?" Thousands of questions ran through his mind but he could only get a few out. 

"Okay fine" Aries let out a sigh as he rolled his eyes, "let's start from her" he pointed to the naked woman who was hanging by her neck, her hands tied behind her back and her legs spread apart as they were cuffed to the wall.
