20. Strange Feelings

I feel very tired today. There were many unexpected events. But I also feel happy because I finally got a job.

"Ana, how about we stop by the store to buy your work clothes?"

I was a little surprised when Leo asked me that.

"My work clothes?"

"Yes, your work clothes. Do you have work clothes? What do you want to wear tomorrow if you don't have work clothes?" Leo asked me.

I smiled awkwardly. "But I don't have any money."

"You! Why are you still thinking about money? I've got it. I have a lot of money. I don't even know how to spend my money. Don't worry, I'll buy you work clothes. Use my money. You just have to choose which one you like." Leo was indeed kind. I felt bad for all his kindness. I couldn't repay any of his kindness.

"Sam, how about it? Do you want to come?" Leo asked Sam.

"If you mind, we'll stop by the store first. You can go home first. Ana and I will take a taxi home." Leo seemed to be giving Sam a choice.

Sam sighed. "Going together, how could I go home alone," Sam said with a flat face.

Really, I really felt bad. "It's okay. There's no need to buy new work clothes. I'll just wear my existing clothes." I tried talking to Leo and Sam.

"Why did you refuse me? You should wear good work clothes, the best ones. Don't you know? When you work with me and Sam, you'll meet important people. You have to look your best. We'll make you look perfect." Leo was adamant with his stance. He still wanted to buy work clothes for me.

I smiled awkwardly again. "Okay." I said.

It's not that I refused and didn't like it, in fact I was very happy to be bought new work clothes by Leo. But I felt that this was too much and I didn't deserve it.

"Alright. Let's go to the clothing store. I can't wait to pick out some nice work clothes for you." Leo stood up, he asked Sam and I to get out of the restaurant quickly. Leo had previously paid for all the food.

Sam and I walked after Leo out of the restaurant.

This time it was Leo who drove the car.

Long story short, it took us about 20 minutes to get to the store Leo had chosen.

Now we're in the store. I feel like I don't belong in this store. It's really a very luxurious store. The clothes sold here must be very expensive.

"Just choose what you like." Leo spoke to me. Really, I felt a little embarrassed.

"I'll choose for you too. Take whatever you like. There's no need to be shy." After telling me that, Leo immediately went to explore the store. Looking for work clothes that he thought would be good for me.

After Leo left, I was left alone with Sam.

I looked at the black suit in front of me. Then I looked at the price.

How surprised I was to find out it was so expensive.

I couldn't cover my expression. My mouth was gaping wide, my eyes bulging wide when I found out about this exorbitantly priced suit.

"Shut your mouth." Sam raised my chin so that my mouth was sealed.

"There's no need to be surprised like that. It's a normal price." Sam told me.

"Just take it if you like. I'll pay for it for you." Sam took the suit, then gave it to me.

"I'll pick out some work clothes for you. Some office outfits that suit you." Sam smiled at me. Then Sam immediately chose a suit that he thought was good.

I was stunned for a few seconds. I was confused, did I save a country in my past life? Why was my life so lucky to be surrounded by good people like Sam and Leo? I was really grateful even though I always felt bad about the kindness of the two of them.

I didn't know which one to choose. I just picked a mocca-colored suit that I thought was pretty, simple and elegant.

"Try this on. I want to see if you fit into it." Sam gave me a very light purple suit, almost like pink. Sam also gave me an undergarment to go with the suit, bone white in color.

I paused for a moment, afraid I wouldn't fit into the suit.

"Let's wear it quickly. I want to see if it's good, if it's not good we'll choose another one." Sam urged me to wear the suit he gave me quickly.

I nodded, then I went straight to the changing room.

Inside the dressing room, while wearing the suit that Sam gave me, I felt very nervous. I was afraid that Sam would be disappointed because his choice didn't match when I wore it.

I put it on very carefully. It's a very expensive suit, if it's damaged even a little I won't be able to compensate.

After I finished wearing it. With a feeling of dread I went out to Sam.

I saw Sam already sitting waiting for me.

"Sam," I called out to Sam.

Sam immediately turned to me when he heard me calling him.

When he saw me, Sam immediately stopped dead in his tracks. His eyes didn't stop staring at me.

"Oh shit!! what kind of stare is this?! I'm really uncomfortable. I'm sorry Sam. The clothes you chose are really nice. But because I'm wearing it, it doesn't look as good." Really, I was very nervous and anxious seeing Sam's silence. I couldn't possibly speak frankly to her. Talking to myself was the way to overcome my nerves.

"Oh come on Sam, don't insult me with that look!" I really wanted to disappear from the earth.

Sam stood up, he walked over to me. "Oh God!!! my heart is beating faster and faster as Sam gets closer to me." I couldn't stop myself from squealing.

Sam was standing very close in front of me. He looked at me from head to toe. "You're so beautiful."

Damn!

"Damn it! What did Sam say just now? Didn't I hear wrong?" My heart felt like it was racing even faster. I was worried that my heart would explode because of Sam.

"Why is my body frozen? I can't even open my mouth. I want to talk!" Really, my mouth really couldn't open.

"You're really pretty and you look good in that. You can take this one too, I like it. I'll pay for it." Sam smiled at me.

Oh God! My heart is going crazy right now. It can't be controlled.

"Hey!"

I looked toward the source of the voice. It was Leo.

"Why are you guys so quiet?" Leo asked me and Sam.

"I've picked out a lot for you." Leo showed me the clothes he'd picked out for me. They were so many, they were piled up.

"Oh, what's this?" asked Leo as he looked at my appearance in the suit.

"This suits you perfectly, Ana. You're really pretty in this. It's a very good choice." Leo complimented me. It makes me feel even crazier. I've never been praised like this before. Especially when I feel like I don't deserve to wear work clothes like this.

"I'll pick out some for you, Ana. You really look beautiful. If you wear the right clothes, you'll be even more beautiful." Sam keeps complimenting me. This is crazy!!! Sam the cold jutting human is now complimenting me? I never imagined this before.

"While you're choosing for Ana, Ana and I will go look for shoes first." Leo pulled my hand after saying goodbye to Sam.

"I'm not lying. You really are the most beautiful woman I've ever met. I really am." Leo praised me again as we walked together to the shoe place.

This is really crazy. It feels like I'm being bombarded by Sam and Leo all at once. Especially Leo. What the hell is this? Leo really likes skinship a lot. Leo didn't even hesitate to hold my hand. It made me, who had never been in a position like this, go crazy. Really crazy. This experience was a first for me. It was so crazy. Never in my wildest dreams had I imagined myself between two handsome men who were so kind.

Either this is sustenance for me, or a trial for me because I have to control myself. But for sure, right now I'm almost crazy with the mixed feelings that the two of them are creating.
