14. Leo is Back

Today Leo decided to return to the apartment. Leo had finished his business. But there is still a lot of work that Leo has to do and observe carefully.

Leo walked into his apartment with a flat face.

"Leo!!! are you home yet? where have you been? it's been so long!!!" Ana immediately ran over to Leo.

Leo smiled slightly. "I'm so tired. I have a lot of work to do. Can't you see this?" Leo pointed at his eyes.

"Look at my blackened eye bags. It's a sign that I'm working very hard." Leo sighed. He walked over to the sofa and sat himself down on it.

"If you have so much work, why don't you ask Sam for help? Don't you work together? Why not help each other?" Ana walked over to Leo. Ana sat on the sofa. Ana sat between Leo and Sam.

"I can't. Why should I help him? I already have my own tasks. So there's no way I can help her." Sam said. Sam really didn't seem to want to help Leo.

"Who's asking for your help anyway? I can finish my own work even if it's difficult." Leo clucked in annoyance.

"Why are you guys fighting? You just met and you're already fighting. It's better for you to hug. It's better for your friendship." Ana smiled, she proposed this sincerely.

Sam wrinkled his forehead. "Cuddle?"

"I'll never do it!" said Sam who refused vehemently.

Leo raised both eyebrows. "Why? Why won't you hug me? Don't we do this all the time?"

Leo walked over to Sam. Then Leo hugged Sam tightly.

"Let go!!! I don't want to hug you!!!" Sam pushed Leo away. Sam rebelled, he wanted to rid himself of Leo.

"Why are you like this? Let Ana see us who always love each other. You and me, we are true friends." Leo laughed. Instead of letting Sam go, Leo hugged Sam even tighter.

Ana laughed at Sam and Leo who never got along. Sam was always cold, and Leo was always bothering Sam. This was really a fun type of friendship.

"Let go of me, Leo!" Sam asked Leo to let him go.

"You have to speak properly. Don't yell at me." Leo laughed wryly. Teasing Sam was indeed the most fun in the world.

"Leo! If you don't let go of me, I'll hit you!" Sam threatened Leo.

"Try it. I'll hit you back." Leo really wanted to guide Sam's anger it seemed.

"LET ME GO, FUCKING LEO...." Sam wiggled his body, rebelling for Leo to let him go.

"Leo! Just let go. Poor Sam. His face is already red from you hugging him too tightly." Ana told Leo to let Sam go.

"You should tell Sam to talk nicely to me, not yell at me." Leo spoke to Ana.

Ana looked at Sam. "Yeah, right, Sam. What's wrong with talking nicely anyway? You guys have been good friends for a long time." Ana persuaded Sam.

Sam looked at Ana. "Why are you defending him? I already bought you a lot of food." Sam gave Ana a sharp look.

"Are you not sincere about buying me food?" Ana asked back.

"Hey, why are you guys fighting?" Leo broke up Ana and Sam.

"Sam ... I miss you. Don't you miss me? I have so many things to tell you." Leo hugged Sam tightly. It seemed that this time Leo's words sounded sincere from the heart.

Sam sighed. Sam was indeed cold and ignorant. But Leo's words just now made Sam realize that Leo was not okay.

"Never mind, no more drama, if you have a lot to tell me, just tell me. Why tell me? Usually without me telling you to tell me, you keep telling me all day long." Sam disentangled himself from Leo's embrace, which was already slipping away slowly.

"By the way, how was your vacation? Have you become friends?" Leo asked Sam and Ana.

Ana smiled widely, then nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! Of course the vacation was great. It's a pity you couldn't enjoy it until the last day with us. We've also become friends." Ana explained with a beaming face.

Leo smiled widely. "Really? So you guys are already friends? hahaha... I didn't expect that. But this is really good. We won't feel awkward anymore now."

"We??... I mean the two of you." Leo laughed as he finished corrupting her words.

"Never mind. I want to sleep. I'm already sleepy. Good night." Ana stood up, she said goodnight to Leo and Sam. Then she went into her room to sleep.

After Ana left, Sam immediately looked at Leo. "So, what happened?" Sam asked Leo.

Leo let out a long sigh. "I don't know either. I don't know where the attack came from. I haven't gotten any clues," Leo replied.

"Were they really sent by someone?" Sam asked again.

"I'm 90% sure that they were sent by someone. But I don't know who sent them." Leo answered with a heavy heart. He felt guilty for not being able to find out who was behind the attack.

"You know Sam, I've never had any enemies. You also know that I never meddle in other packs' affairs. I never wanted another Alpha pack. I never wanted my territory enlarged. I just want to live safe and comfortable." Leo confided in Sam.

Sam nodded in agreement. Sam knew very well that Leo was never interested in a fuss. In fact, Leo always avoided it. That's why Leo didn't seem to have any enemies. But this time, who sent the war flag to Leo?

"I will always be there to help you. If you want help, just tell me." Sam patted Leo on the shoulder to give Leo strength.

"These kinds of things I can handle, Sam. You think because I'm always joking around, I can't solve these kinds of things? Have you forgotten that I'm also an Alpha. I can also attack anyone who endangers my Pack." It seemed like Leo misunderstood Sam's words just now.

"What's wrong with you?! I didn't mean it like that. I don't doubt you at all. In fact, I'm pretty sure you can handle it. You can handle it. I'm just talking like a friend. If you don't want my help, I'm glad I'm not adding to your burden." Sam chuckled in annoyance. Leo was really weird. At first Sam had been serious and sincere in saying that. But because Leo's reaction was different, Sam also had to change his response to Leo.

"See how I'll take good care of this matter. I'll make sure your eyes open wide and admit that I'm a great and responsible Alpha." Leo smiled wryly.

"Not better than me," Sam retorted quickly.

Sam stood up, he wanted to go to his room to sleep.

"Hey! Sam! Where are you going?!!" Leo also stood up and chased Sam.

"I want to sleep. I'm already sleepy. I have to work tomorrow. Leave me alone." Sam walked quickly away from Leo. Sam went into his room and closed the door loudly.

Leo clucked in annoyance. Leo hadn't finished chatting with Sam yet. But Sam had already entered the room first. Sam really never missed making Leo's temper explode.

"Sam you bastard!!! damn you Sam!!!" Leo cursed in annoyance. After Sam went into his room, Leo inevitably went into his room and went to sleep.
