Chapter 95: Reunion Part 1

Chapter 95: Reunion Part 1
As we arrived in the Blazing Winter Pack, I was greeted by our fellow pack members, who were happy that I had gotten the title I deserved for myself and for Thaddeus' pack. My three mates let me be alone with them as I chattered to the rest of the pack members, thanking them for greeting me.
We were only interrupted when Cretheus said that I had visitors waiting in the parlor room. Bewildered, I followed him while his hand was intertwined with mine.
"Are you not really going to tell me who the visitors are, my valiant?" I asked tenderly as Cretheus began to rain kisses on the back of my hand.
He smiled sheepishly. "You'll see soon." He winked as we went to the parlor room.
"Congratulations, sister!"
As soon as the door opened, I was greeted by my four older sisters named Isabella, Novalie, Seraphina, and Dominixe. They hugged me as soon as they saw me, causing me to giggle and hug them back.
"Thank you, older sisters!" I said, feeling more at home now that they were also here. When we were both separated and they gave me their congratulatory gift, I looked at them, slightly confused. "Where's Sister Rachelle? And my other older sisters?" I asked, sounding sulky.
Novalie—Mother's third daughter, known as Noblete, the Goddess of Marriage—was the sister-in-law of Alpha King Azarius, with Prince Atticus as her husband and mate. She spoke gently. "She's tied up with Luna Queen duties at the moment. She may arrive later than expected."
"She can't escape her duties because our brother-in-law is reprimanding her for escaping," Dominixe added, chuckling. "You know our older sister has the habit of making excuses and hiding from Claude to give him a heart attack from time to time. So, he's keeping watch on her."
I playfully rolled my eyes. "I can really understand if he's having a headache with her again."
I was finally able to meet Rachelle, the first daughter of our mother, after the obscene events. My mates told me that she and Dominixe were the ones who helped to locate me as soon as possible; thus, there were slight casualties in rescuing me.
With their abilities and with Mother's approval, they used the portal from the celestial realm to go to the location where I was. It turned out that the location was near the Adamantine Volcano, a mansion built by the Miyoshi Clan, owned by none other than Kenji Miyoshi.
He was also reprimanded for being an accomplice to the elders of the Azai Clan and for harming me as one of the daughters of the Moon Goddess.
While recuperating from the slight wounds I had sustained, I was able to get to know my two older sisters and found out that Rachelle liked to play pranks on her mate, who was my brother-in-law and the Alpha King of the Waevalon Kingdom, Claudian Alexander IV.
On the other hand, for Dominixe, I was able to meet Valerian, which they were residing in the Yuanzhong Kingdom. Both of them were head over heels for each other, and they had an insane relationship before they reached their happy ending.
Novalie gently nudged me, making me turn my attention to her. "When is the wedding?" she asked in a teasing tone, wiggling her eyebrows.
Seraphina, known as Sicilia, the Goddess of Fertility, and Mother's fourth daughter, chimed in with a sheepish smile. "And when will you get to decide to bear your mates' pup?"
I stared at them like they'd grown an extra head, but there was no hiding the heat rushing to my face at their questions.
"They haven't proposed yet..." I admitted with a small chuckle. "And I haven't minded. I've been too busy with my studies and working toward my knight title."
Seraphina arched a brow. "Even so, have they never hinted at wanting to marry you?"
Novalie nodded in agreement, eyes gleaming. "Tell us, sister. You must tell us if they intend to marry you, or we'll curse them."
At that, I instinctively took a step back, a nervous laugh escaping me. "They've wanted to marry me ever since the world found out about our relationship," I began quickly. Because if I didn't explain, I feared they might actually make good on their threat. "It's just... I was the one who told them I wanted to focus on my studies first. After everything that happened months ago, I haven't had the time to think about marriage."
I blinked at them, silently pleading for understanding.
"I love them," I confessed softly. "And I do want to marry Thaddeus, Theodore, and Cretheus." My lips curved as their names rolled in my mind, warmth blooming in my chest. "I love them... and I can't wait for the day I become their wife," I added dreamily.
As I looked at my older sisters, all of them were smiling from ear to ear with their teasing gazes before they shrieked and hugged me so tight.
"Your wish will come true!" they said in unison.
When my sisters finally left, the laughter and chatter fading into the quiet of the night, I turned to my three mates, my gaze softening.
"I want to visit Father in the celestial realm," I said, my voice low but earnest. "Would you... meet him with me?"
Novalie had taught me how to open a portal months ago. Since she lived closest, she'd been the one to guide me, not just in honing my abilities, but in preparing me for the moment I could see Mother face-to-face again.
"Of course, sunshine," Theodore murmured, taking my hand and brushing his lips across my knuckles with deliberate tenderness. "We've been wanting to meet your father for a long time. Isn't that right, brother... uncle?" He glanced toward Thaddeus and Cretheus.
Something unreadable passed between the two of them before they moved. Thaddeus stepping closer in front, Cretheus sliding behind me, his arm looping around my waist. The air shifted, charged, my breath catching as I felt completely surrounded.
Thaddeus bent his head, his lips pressing gently to my forehead. "Of course, moonshine," he said in that calm, steady tone that always unraveled me. "We'd be honored to meet him... and to introduce ourselves properly as your mates." The sincerity in his words made my eyes sting.
Cretheus's voice brushed my ear, deep and quiet. "We were only waiting for your word, huntress." His thumb traced lazy circles over my hip, each touch sending a shiver down my spine.
"We love you, Kasumi," they said together. Three voices, one vow. My heart and my wolf both nearly buckled at the sound.
A shaky sigh escaped me as I pulled them closer, unwilling to let even air slip between us. "Thank you, Cretheus... thank you, Theodore... thank you, Thaddeus." My eyes fell shut as happy tears spilled freely, their warmth a stark contrast to the cool night.
Upon arriving in the celestial realm, my heart raced as we walked through the grand corridors of the celestial palace, each step bringing me closer to Mother's presence. We had only just arrived, yet deep inside, I already knew exactly where She was.
Perhaps it was the bond we shared as mother and daughter that guided me straight to Her.
And there She was, in the gallery, gracefully waving in our direction. (Keina, dearest!)
"Mother!" A smile broke across my face, refusing to leave my lips.
(I have seen your achievements today, my love. Congratulations!) She said in her godly divine voice.
I turned to Her, looking at Her face concealed by the blinding light. "Thank you, Mother! I am indeed joyous that I am now a knight! Father would have been enthralled if he had known this!"
The first time I met my mother, I felt nervous and felt my stomach churning upside down. I was awed upon seeing what She really looked like. I remember that time my breath was taken as I indulged myself in Her beauty, basking in it.
I even had to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming because who would have thought that I was one of Her daughters.
She was breathtaking, radiating an otherworldly beauty. The thought that the Moon Goddess herself was my mother, that Her divine blood flowed through my veins, filled me with a profound sense of gratitude and pride.
(Perfect! Hideyoshi has been waiting for you, my dear.)
I blinked in surprise. "Father has?"
(Hmm.)
"Greetings, Moon Goddess," my mates greeted Her, bowing in front of Her.
In an instant, She was right in front of us. She immediately opened Her arms for me, and I welcomed myself inside of them. She chuckled and gently caressed my hair. (My, my. I am delighted to see Kiena and her mates, Thaddeus, Theodore, and Cretheus.) Her warmth caressed my heart.
My mates looked happy when She acknowledged their presence. "Thank you for having Kiena be our mate, Moon Goddess."
Mother smiled and nodded. (I know the three of them are truly meant to be your mates, my daughter.) Then She turned to me, cupping my face with Her gentle hand. (I was never wrong in choosing these gentlemen for you, Kiena. I can see the depth of their love for you, and yours for them.)
I bit my lower lip, holding back the tears as I nodded. "Yes, Mother." My gaze shifted to my mates, who met my eyes with the same gentle smiles I cherished. "I love them. I love Cretheus. I love Thaddeus. I love Theodore." A relieved sigh escaped my lips. "I love them just as deeply as they love me."
"Kiena..." they called me, their eyes were getting misty.
"So, these are our daughter's mates, hmm?"
My heart instantly lit up at the sound of that familiar baritone voice. Peeking past Mother, I caught sight of Father making his way toward us.
