Chapter 33 Chapter 33) Wedding day/ Humiliate her?
The wedding venue,
The respective guests have arrived at the wedding venue. Most of them took their seats in the front rows and the back rows, while the rest of them were standing, walking around and having a discussion.
Their hearts kept on leaping back and forth, as they were curious about the bride, who was able to capture the cold Lycan King's heart.
Or perhaps, they were curious to see the bride who was enough to make the Lycan King want to get married.
Outside the wedding venue building,
Several expensive black cars stopped in front of the building, and immediately, the warriors got out of some of the cars, before they hurried to the car in front of them, and one of them opened the back seat door.
It was a female warrior.
Not only did she not leave after opening the door, she stretched out her right hand to the person sitting in the car.
The atmosphere became tense for a few seconds, before Demira accepted her help and placed her hand gently on her palm.
At that moment, she was assisted out of the car, where she stood for a few seconds as she stared at the building in front of her.
A place which was meant to seal her fate.
‘Do you really have to do this?’. Priscilla had to ask, even after telling herself that Demira was not going to listen to her.
‘Yes. I need power’. Demira's reply was short but firm.
She let out a heavy breath through her mouth, before she made the bold step forward, knowing that there wasn't an escape for her, unless she succeeded in her plan, which she knew she was going to succeed.
Because she couldn't afford to fail.
She arrived inside the building and continued to follow the warriors who led her the way, with the remaining of the warriors standing guard behind her, and the Omega maidservants holding the hem of the long blue gown she wore.
That made her feel uncomfortable, but what could she possibly do about it when they were afraid that she might try to slip off, and hence, put them in trouble?
Anyway, it did not take long, and they arrived at the venue.
The large doors were opened, and she could literally see all the werewolves who had come for her wedding.
She frowned, because the place was grand enough to be called the Lycan King's coronation day.
Why did he go through this trouble to make today look grand?
Was he trying to convey a message or a warning to her?
She grabbed a little part of her gown and gripped them tightly.
“Let's welcome the bride. The Luna of the moonlight pack!”. The announcer announced as soon as he sighted the lady standing at the entrance, who was wearing a blue gown that felt out of the world.
His announcement made everyone stop what they were doing and turn to the bride who was standing at the entrance.
‘This is it’.
Loosening her grip on her gown, she thought, before she stepped into the venue, with her chin raised up, as she looked more proud than ever, as she did not want anyone to figure out her true emotions. She didn't want them to see any flaws in her.
Slowly and steadily, she walked down the aisle and made her way to the altar in front of her, not minding the eyes that were fixed on her.
Soon, she arrived at the altar and stood there, waiting for the groom to arrive.
‘What is he up to now?’. She thought, because even though she had not attended a wedding ceremony before, she knew that the groom was the one who ought to arrive first, and wait for the bride at the altar.
But, why did the roles change now that it was her turn?
Or did he do this to her on purpose to humiliate her?
She gritted her teeth at the thought of that.
‘Tsk. Do you think that this petty action of yours is going to break me? Do you think that this is enough to break me?’.
‘Well, think again, because this is not enough to break me’. She thought to herself and stood her ground, not ready to break down.
And even if he did not show up, she would not mind it, because she was not desperate to get married to him.
He was the one who forced her into getting married to him, not her.
“Where is the Lycan King?”.
“Yeah, where is he?”. The guests began to whisper amongst themselves, with some of them pointing their fingers at her, but she remained unmoved, like someone who wasn't bothered.
Though it was not the same for Priscilla, who had to shut herself out, so that she wouldn't be able to see whatever that was happening out there in reality anymore.
‘I won't break!’. Demira declared, before she coincidentally saw someone amongst the crowd, and the person made her blood boil.
He was staring at her, with a shocked and pale look on his face, as if he had seen a ghost who was never meant to exist again.
‘You’. She thought, and she could feel her eyes getting red, especially when she spotted who was standing beside him.
Just when she wanted to take a step forward towards him to pay him back for what he had done to her, that was when Alejandro’s presence was announced.
But, that was not the main reason why she stopped in her tracks.
Why should she approach him (Kayson) directly and show him that she knew him? And that she was the Demira he knew?
Why the heck should she do something like that?
That would be unreasonable and too careless of her, and she was not the kind of person who was careless.
Besides, was he not the one who killed her? So he might think that she was someone else who had the same
face as the Demira he cruelly stabbed.
Because of these possibilities, it was best if she didn't act right now.
After all, there was still plenty of time for her to make him pay!
