♥ Chapter 47 ♥

Aurora Evans

Australia.

I'm woken up when I feel kisses on my face, and I let out a little laugh because it tickled.

- Baby, the plane is about to land, we don't want you to have a traumatizing experience. - I opened my eyes.

- Are we there yet? That was so fast. - They both end up laughing.

- You slept the whole way because you were tired, my love. I barely slept last night. - I rubbed my eyes.

Tom pulled out his seatbelt and fastened it, and I realized that they were already buckled in. I took a deep breath as the plane started to descend, grabbed his hands again and squeezed them really hard.

Holy shit! Shit!

I closed my eyes very tightly, my stomach churning. A great relief hit me when the plane landed on the runway.

- Okay, baby. We've landed. - Tom said, tugging at my seatbelt.

- My heart almost stopped. - I commented and brought my hand up to my rapidly beating chest.

- You'll get used to it soon, my love. Because as soon as we graduate, we're going to take you to see the world. - Alex said, smiling.

I smiled and kissed his chin.

- I can't wait.

Everyone started to get up to get off, they picked up their bags and left, then we got up and followed the people, Tom and Alex picked up our bags and we left the plane.

- Now that I've noticed. - I rubbed my butt. - My ass is numb.

They nod and laugh.

- I think I'm some kind of clown, because you can't stop laughing at me.

- It's just that you're so cute, love. We can't stop laughing. - Tom replied.

- You're very mean to me, alphas.

They both kiss my cheeks and we move on.

- I'm getting nervous again. - I took a deep breath.

- We're feeling it, love. But there's no need to worry, everything's going to be fine. - Tom said softly.

- Will they really like me? Am I well dressed?

- Baby, you don't have to worry about these things.

- It's just that this is my first time meeting someone's family, Alex. I'm very nervous.

- We'll be by your side, nothing will happen. - He assured me.

I smiled slightly, feeling a little better.

- Thank you, Alex. - I took a deep breath. - You're right, I don't have to worry.

- Alex? Thomas? - We turned to the side and saw a very well-groomed lady.

She's a brunette, her hair is light brown, I notice that her eyes are dark blue, she's a bit short, her face is triangular. From the smell of her, she's an omega lupus, and I have to admit that she's very beautiful. She's wearing a long dark dress, which suits her perfectly.

My mother-in-law is so beautiful!

- Hello, Mom. - They both replied in unison.

She gave a small smile.

- It's good to see you after such a long time. You both look beautiful. - She approached them in slow steps and hugged them very quickly.

Too fast for someone who hasn't seen her children for a long time.

- It's good to see you again too, Mom. - Tom replied a little coldly.

What's going on here? Why don't mother and children seem happy to see each other?

- Well, anyway. Who is this beautiful omega with you? - She looked at me with a warm smile.

- This is our companion, Aurora Evans. - Alex introduced me.

- It's a pleasure, ma'am. - I greeted her, but I could see the shocked look on her face.

- C-Companion? Both of you? - Her expression of shock is scaring me.

How hard is it to have two companions like that?

- Yes, ma'am. I'm your children's companion. - I replied gently.

She stared at me for a few seconds, but just as she was about to reply, she was interrupted by the sound of my stomach rumbling.

- Oh my God! - I covered my face in shame.

- Are you that hungry, princess? - Alex asked, smiling.

- It's because I didn't eat very well at home. I was too anxious. - I snorted.

- We told you that you should have eaten a bit more at home and at the airport, baby. - Tom rubbed his thumb over my cheek. - We don't want you to get sick.

I let out a little sigh.

- I know, I'm sorry. I was so anxious about today, I couldn't eat anything. - They nodded.

- Very well. - He turned to his mother. - Can we eat before we go home? Is there a problem?

- Not a problem. - She answered quickly. - We can go to that diner... - Alex interrupted her.

- If you don't mind, we want to go alone. Then we'll go home. - We both stared at him in surprise.

- C-Clear, Alex. I'll see you at home. - She turned and walked away, leaving us alone.

I really don't understand anymore, don't they get along with your family too? Because that's what it looks like.

- Come on, baby. - Tom led me out of the airport.

- But... But. - They both nodded, making me let out a sigh.

They don't want to talk right now. But we'll have to talk sometime.

- There's a snack bar over there. - Alex pointed across the street. - It's a good place, it just changes that it's very crowded.

- No problem. - They both nodded.

We managed to cross the street safely, but it was quite difficult as there were a lot of cars going from one side to the other. Fortunately, we managed to get through. We entered the establishment and it was very full. Alex found an empty seat and we quickly went to sit down before someone else took it.

- We made it. - I say a little cheerfully, to improve the mood a little.

- Yes, princess. - Tom replied, but I noticed that they seemed quite distant.

The waitress approached.

- Good afternoon, what would you like to eat? - She asked gently.

We hadn't even seen the menu yet, so I don't know what to order.

- We'll have six hamburgers with fries and a soft drink. - Alex answered.

- Right, sir. Your orders will be here shortly. - She left.

I looked at them both seriously.

- What was that all about? Because it wasn't normal. - They both sighed.

- We don't want to talk about it right now, princess. Maybe later? - Tom asked with a small smile.

Do they really have any problems with their families? If they do, why did they bring me here? I know they're trying to cheer me up, but causing yourself pain just to cheer me up is something I don't want. I'll wait for the moment when they're comfortable talking to me about their family problems.

I rested my hands on yours affectionately.

- I won't force you, my loves. I'm here for whatever you need. I'm all ears. - I smiled fondly. - And don't forget that I love you more than anything in this life. I'll wait patiently, so you don't have to force yourself to tell me now if you're not comfortable.

I felt their affection for me through the brand.

- We thank you for your patience, my love. - They replied in unison. - And we love you too.

I smiled at how funny it was that they spoke together.

- Excuse me. - The waitress placed our orders on the table. - Enjoy.

- Thank you. Thank you. - We appreciate it.

I even drooled at the smell of the hamburger.

- You can eat it, my love. - Alex said laughing.

I didn't say another word and began to devour my food in silence.
