Arrived in the afternoon, and in the evening they were still busy. Aneska entertained. The girl didn't mind and instead had fun playing with the other kids. The girl even checked on sick children without Aneska's medical equipment because the girl didn't know she would come to a place like that.
After having dinner together, Aneska continued to accompany the children, even reading books until they put them to sleep. Kira watched from a distance with the orphanage director and several of his staff.
“I didn't expect you to invite someone so skilled in so many things,” said the Director as he walked away from there.
Aneska was in a room with children aged under four to seven years.
Maria, the director of the orphanage, sat on the sofa. Kira followed and sat next to the old woman.
"Somehow I want that girl to always be by my side, in front of me. I didn't expect Aneska to be that close to children," said Kira.
“You have a wonderful girl, Kira,” Maria said.
"Alendra gets it for me, for Edwin," replied Kira. “I am happy and grateful. The first time I saw that girl, I was drawn to always be there, love and protect her like a mother." Kira looked up and smiled.
Maria nodded her head, smiling slightly.
"It's true, you should always be grateful for everything you get," said Maria. “Aneska is friendly, the girl is also skilled, intelligent, and close to children. I'm happy to see Aneska today," Maria continued praising Aneska.
Kira nodded.
"Then how is Edwin? Will it come?” asked Maria.
Kira even proudly introduced Aneska as Edwin's wife. Even though Edwin and Aneska are quite far apart in age.
“I don't know whether he will come or not. But I hope he can come," Kira answered.
Maria nodded, also full of hope because it had been long since she saw Edwin. In the past, Edwin often came to accompany Kira, even though he seemed reluctant, Edwin also often played with the children.
The two women continued to chat about small and big things in the future and what plans they wanted to make. Kira is their regular donor and is often involved in the events they hold. Not only that, they also discussed the development of the children there and included ideas that Aneska had conveyed.
While the parents and staff were discussing, Aneska fell asleep in one of the girls' beds. Tired of playing, helping, and following the flow of small children made Aneska tired. The girl didn't mind because she had been a volunteer.
It was eleven o'clock at night when Aneska woke up from her sleep. The girl looked around for a moment then carefully got out of bed and left the room. The girl walked half-conscious, not knowing where Aneska's feet were going.
Because she wasn't paying attention to her path, the girl bumped into someone in front of her and almost fell if not for the strong hand holding the girl's waist. Instantly, Aneska's sleepiness disappeared in surprise. He saw who the girl hit.
“Edwin?” Aneska's forehead furrowed in surprise.
Realizing that she was too close to a man elsewhere, Aneska immediately distanced herself from the man.
"When you come here?" Aneska asked.
"Two hours ago," answered Edwin briefly.
"Ah?" Aneska immediately glanced at the clock and was shocked again. "It turns out I fell asleep," muttered the girl.
Edwin watched Aneska's face under the dim light because the main light was off, only a small light was on.
"Mother asked you to come?" Aneska asked.
The man nodded.
"Oh, I see. Wait a minute, I'm going to the bathroom," said Aneska and immediately left in front of Edwin who watched her leave with a small smile.
Of course, Edwin would come if his mother asked him to. Even though Aneska is not there, Edwin will still come if Kira calls him to come. Besides, there was no activity at home because Alendra himself was on duty that day.
Waiting for Aneska to return, Edwin leaned against the wall. Because now there was a girl by his side, Edwin seemed responsible for his safety.
Not long after, Aneska returned with her face wet from water, even several strands of the girl's hair were wet.
“Sorry to keep you waiting,” the girl said.
Edwin didn't answer as he watched the water droplets on the girl's face, even Aneska's lips were wet. The man looked away while swallowing his saliva nervously. It's strange, just that little thing makes Edwin nervous, what's wrong with him?
“What are you doing here instead of resting?” Aneska asked.
"I'm not sleepy yet, and I'm not too tired either," answered Edwin.
Aneska nodded her head.
"Where are you going?" It was Edwin's turn to ask.
"Guest room. "I think it's better to just stay in the room so as not to disturb other people who are sleeping," said Aneska. "Then where are you going?"
"I'm going to my room too," answered Edwin.
And they walked together. At first, Aneska wasn't surprised by Edwin walking behind her, but as soon as she got close to the living room, Aneska realized that Edwin was following her, and the girl turned around.
"What are you doing now?" Aneska asked. Edwin frowned. "Why follow me?"
"No, I want to go to my room too," answered Edwin.
Aneska nodded her head even though she felt a little strange. However, when he arrived at the door of the guest room where Aneska would be staying, Edwin still followed him.
"Don't tell me that you—"
Edwin did not respond to Aneska, instead pushing the girl into the room whose door Aneska had opened. Of course, Aneska was shocked, especially when Edwin closed the door tightly.
"You -"
“Mom put me here. Besides, this room is the room I usually stay in when I come here," said Edwin.
Aneska fell silent, not because of Edwin's words, but because of Edwin's encouragement.
Realizing that Aneska was just silent, Edwin approached, looked at the girl's face, and even leveled her face. Aneska's eyes widened in surprise.
"Why is your face red?" asked Edwin.
Aneska's face became even redder when Edwin asked, especially since the man smiled.
"Oh, it's so hot in here," Aneska avoided, turning around and waving her hand at her hot face.
Behind Aneska, Edwin smiled mischievously. Of course, Edwin could understand why Aneska's face was red. They should be used to it, but still, Aneska is often surprised, even nervous when she is close to Edwin.
Meanwhile, for Edwin, Aneska's behavior made him a little tempted, just like before. Without warning, the man turned Aneska's body around and immediately captured the girl's lips with his own.
Aneska's eyes widened completely, she was shocked again by what Edwin suddenly did, but then closed her eyes, let Edwin play with Aneska's lips, and even pushed her body onto the bed.
