Chapter264
I was going to pick up Belinda at McKayla’s office later. She needed to get herself together.
She stood there for a little while longer, made sure she was ready, then walked out and headed to McKayla’s office.
From far away, she already heard Belinda’s crisp voice, and Belinda was laughing.
Stephanie couldn’t help but smile. Looks like she and McKayla had a lot of fun.
Thinking about it, Stephanie kept walking, but didn’t say anything. She wanted to see what they were doing.
But when she got to the door of McKayla’s office, she saw that the person standing next to Belinda wasn’t McKayla.
But it was Lennon.
They both had their backs to her.
Belinda was standing on a small stool, staring at something on the table.
And Lennon was standing next to her, holding a pen in his right hand, sometimes smiling and explaining something to Belinda.
“Lennon, did this kitten really look like this?” Belin ointed at something on the table and asked in a crisp voice.
Lennon nodded and smiled, saying, “It’s at uncle’s place now.

Whenever Auntie Stephanie allowed, uncle took you to play with it, or brought it over to play with you.”
Belinda nodded hard, then looked a bit troubled and said, “Lennon. your hand was so steady. When I drew, I always messed it up.”
“Uncle was like this when he was little too, he learned painting, used a soft brush, and even secretly cried when he couldn’t get it.”
In the office, Lennon gently said to Belinda, “Later I made up my mind, and at the same time I calmed down and practiced my
handwriting, so little by little, I made a bit of progress every day, and then I learned it.”
“Really?” Belinda’s eyes were shining.
Lennon nodded, then reached out and took Belinda’s hand, guiding
her.
“You see, would it be a bit better like this?” Lennon asked gently.
“Really!” Belinda was so happy she did a little jump.
Lennon just reached out his hand to steady her, so she wouldn’t fall off the little stool.
The two, one big and one small, looked at each other and smiled, and it was all warm.
Stephanie just looked like that.
Standing at the office door.
Felt kind of unreal.
“Auntie Stephanie!” Belinda suddenly spotted her.

Got off the small stool and came to her side.
Stephanie crouched down and hugged Belinda.
“Auntie Stephanie, Lennon and I were drawing,” Belinda said, leading Stephanie to the table.
Stephanie looked up, then saw Lennon smile and nod at her.
Stephanie nodded and, led by Belinda, came over to the table together.
On the table were two paintings. One had childish lines–it was drawn by Belinda. The other one, though it only had a few strokes, looked really skilled and vivid.
The cat in the drawing was the Ragdoll Stephanie had seen.
It was drawn by Lennon.
“Auntie Stephanie, did Lennon say you saw this cat, is that true?” Belinda asked curiously, “Did it really have such a big tail and could it really do backflips?”
Stephanie thought it was kind of funny, looked like Lennon really liked his Ragdoll.
She smiled and nodded, “Yeah, it even rolled over right in front of me, its tail looked just like a big brush.”
“Then I…” Belinda looked at Stephanie, then secretly glanced at Lennon on the side. She hesitated for a bit and asked quietly, “Can I play with it?”
There was an eager but a bit shy look on Belinda’s fac
So cute.
