It was almost midnight and Hana was still daydreaming looking out the window looking at the raindrops that fell and the droplets stuck to the bedroom window glass, until a black car entered the yard of the house making her daydreams stop for a moment, and Hana knew who the owner of the car was.
Hana immediately walked over to her big bag which was already filled with her clothes in the closet, he had been thinking about it since morning. If he was the one who made Adriel not feel at home at home, then he would return to her room all, in the maid’s room to be more precise. For the reason she was going to tell Jeffran’s father-in-law, let her think about it later. Hana walked towards the door to open it, but the door was opened first from the outside.
“You?” Adriel asked with an indescribable look in his eyes, he looked at the bag that Hana was carrying. “What’s that?” Adriel asked again.
“E-mmm this? My clothes, I’m moving out of this room. Isn’t that why you never comes home?” she answered in a low voice.
Adriel took a deep breath and massaged his temples. Hana made his mind grow even more.
“That’s enough, don’t make any more drama.” Adriel answered briefly, he understood what was in Hana’s mind, she definitely wanted to move to the downstairs room. More precisely in the maid’s room that she had been in from the start. And if that happens, then there will be another drama that will happen in this house. Enough thought Adriel, he didn’t want any more fuss.
Adriel took the bag that was in Hana’s hand then pushed the body back into the room, not forgetting that Adriel closed the door.
“Enough of your troubles, Hana, there’s already a lot of trouble in this house. Don’t add more.” He said coldly with emphasis and voice raised, he was sure everyone was a sleep. So no one will hear it.
“So how about you? If I stay here, You won’t come home right? I-daddy always asks you.” Hana do not have the heart to it if Adriel had to go back and forth to the apartment and home just to change his needs, and his father-in-law always asked her about Adriel.
“Then I’ll stay here.” Said Adriel casually.
“You mean?”
“Of course I’ll sleep in this room. With you. Got it? Now you better make me some food, I’m hungry.” Adriel walked over to the wardrobe as he untied his tie and started to unbutton his shirt. Seeing that, Hana quickly turned around so as not to see Adriel’s body that was about to be naked. Possible?
This made Adriel wince.
“Why turn around? We’re already married, why should we be ashamed?”
DEG
Marry? The words that came out of Adriel’s mouth made a pounding in Hana’s chest, don’t you realize that the words that Adriel just said made the door of hope in Hana’s heart slightly open? But quickly Hana shook her head. She must return to her feet on the earth. She couldn’t open her heart one bit, she had to be aware.
“Th-that’s you, what should I cook?”
“Whatever, but don’t eat too heavy because it’s getting late. I want to take a shower first.”
“Hmmm... okay.”
.
.
.
About twenty minutes Hana was struggling with the kitchen utensils, and the food was now ready. Only eggs mixed with vegetables and chicken breast, and she had prepared a bowl of rice. Adriel must have needed a lot of energy after working all day at the office.
Footsteps were heard coming down the stairs. And it was Adriel who had finished with his shower, he went straight to the dining table. He was really hungry, he looked at the bowl of rice and omelet that had been prepared by Hana, it turned out that Hana was listening to his words.
“Where are you going?” Adriel asked when Hana was about to leave the dining room.
“That, I’ll wait in the living room. Wouldn’t you not like it if I was here while you were eating food.”
Adriel took a deep breath.
“Okay, today I’m tired and I’m lazy to argue with you. Now sit down and just wait for me to finish eating.”
“A-ah, okay.” In the end Hana sat across from the chair occupied by Adriel.
Adriel started eating his food, starting with one bite, two bites. But something was strange, he raised his head. He saw it across the dining table Hana who kept her head down, made Adriel strange to see her.
“What happened to you?” he asked Hana .
“It’s okay, it’s just. Is my cooking to your taste? I’m afraid it won’t taste good.”
Adriel looked back at the omelet that was now in his chopsticks.
“Hm, this is delicious. I like it.”
Hearing those words of praise, Hana immediately raised her head. For the first time Adriel praised himself, should Hana be happy? Of course, with that simple sentence, a smile Hana unconsciously threw at Adriel.
Adriel was silent, just like what happened that night. Just like now, at midnight, for the first time Adriel saw a smile on Hana ’s lips. He again saw a different side of Hana .
“Khuk... khukk.” Adriel choked because he was too focused on looking at Hana .
“Adriel!” Hana immediately stood up and immediately handed the drinking glass that was on the table. She faithfully patted Adriel’s back to feel more comfortable.
“Adriel, eat slowly.”
Adriel put the glass back when his throat felt comfortable.
“Hmm... I know.” Seeing Adriel who had improved, Hana sat back in her chair.
“Ow yes... may I ask?”
“What ?”
“Since when are you close to David?”
“David?” Hana asked again, but she answered quickly. “I don’t know, it’s just that he suddenly always asks me for help. Especially with his assignments.”
Adriel nodded slowly.
“I thought there was something else.”
“You mean ?”
Adriel glanced at Hana.
“Nothing, I’ll finish my food. I’m sleepy.”
“Ah, okay.”
Hana lowered her head again, she seemed to smile in silence. She felt happy, at least this was her first speak with Adriel. She glanced at the plate on the table, her heart warmed even more when she saw the plate was empty because Adriel finished her homemade food. It was the little things that made her happy.
