Chapter Eighty-Eight

“A strip club, really?” Lucian glanced around the place skeptically. He genuinely couldn't tell what Artemis was thinking.
The place was crowded with people, the music loud enough to make the floor vibrate beneath his feet. Neon lights flashed across the room, illuminating the bar and the stage where a dancer was currently performing.
“Why are we here, Art?” Lucian asked Artemis. He wasn't interested in watching any of the strippers. He just spend more time with his boyfriend.
The boy flashed him a mischievous grin. “Why? Does stripping bother you? I thought I might give you a treat today.”
Lucian stared blankly. How was this a treat?
“You know they have a variety of options for the private sessions. Wanna try?”
No.
The answer was just at the tip of Lucian's tongue but seeing the excitement in Artemis' eyes, he found himself giving in once again. If Artemis' idea of fun was watching a bunch of naked people dance, fine.
Still, his tongue clicked. He could get naked anytime Artemis wanted, why did he need to watch other people?
“Professor?” Artemis cooed. “What's that intense look in your eyes?” His taunting voice made Lucian look away but the boy easily straddled him.
Settling on Lucian's laps, he cupped the man's face. “Come on, tell me. What's wrong?”
“This private session…” he stared into those grey eyes. “...how many strippers are involved?”
“Huh?” Artemis’ expression turned into puzzlement. “You want strippers?”
Lucian's body stiffened as he caught the dangerous edge in Artemis' tone. He had assumed that was the whole point of coming here. He didn't even want any of this so how did he manage to provoke Artemis?
“No, that's not it…”
“So what is it then?” Artemis' eyes darkened. “I'm not enough for you? Is that it?”
“Jesus, calm down,” Lucian sucked in a breath. “I didn't know the private session you booked was just for the two of us. I'd rather you than a bunch of strangers, you know that.”
It was only after hearing that, did the dangerous glint in the boy's eyes vanish. He flashed a grin and kissed Lucian softly on the lips.
“That's more like it, professor. You better not think of anyone else,” he smiled. Lucian chuckled. That kiss felt more of a threat than the words themselves.
Still, he wouldn't have it any other way.
“So what do you have planned for us?”
Artemis got off his lap and offered Lucian a hand. “Why don't you come find out?”
Artemis guided him down a dimly lit hallway. The noise from the club gradually faded behind them until they stopped in front of a black door. Artemis pushed it open.
Lucian stepped inside and immediately paused.
This room was nothing like the rest of the club.
The walls were dark, the furniture sleek and comfortable, and soft music played from hidden speakers. Deep red lights bathed the entire room in a warm glow, giving everything a strangely intimate atmosphere. There were two poles in the room and on one part of the hall, there was a glass showcase containing all kinds of items, ranging from whips to collars.
Lucian looked around.
“What is this?”
“Our private room.”
Artemis shut the door behind them. Lucian arched a brow.
Interesting.
“Sit.”
“That sounds suspicious.”
“Professor.”
The warning in Artemis' voice made him laugh.
“Fine.”
Lucian sat on the couch while Artemis walked toward another door at the far end of the room. Before disappearing inside, he turned around.
“And don't follow me.”
Lucian blinked. “Why?”
“Because it's a surprise.”
The door clicked shut before he could ask any more questions. Lucian leaned back against the couch, staring at it.
A surprise?
He had known Artemis for long enough to understand that those words were rarely followed by anything normal.
The music continued playing softly.
One minute passed. Then two. Then three and Lucian grew impatient.
“Art?”
No response.
Lucian sighed. “Whatever you're planning, I swear—”
The door opened.
Lucian's words died in his throat as Artemis stepped out slowly.
He was wearing a black costume that looked like something straight out of a playful fantasy. A fitted black top hugged his torso, paired with equally dark shorts and sleek thigh-high stockings. A pair of black cat ears sat on his head, matching the thin tail attached behind him.
Around his neck is a black studded choker and his wrists had wide black leather cuffs too.
His silver-grey eyes gleamed under the red lights.
Lucian stared.
Artemis tilted his head, a mischievous grin working up his lips, “Meow?”
For several seconds, Lucian said absolutely nothing. He was too shocked to even react.
Artemis' lips twitched “Professor?”
“Oh God,” Lucian finally dragged a hand down his face. “You cannot be serious.”
A laugh escaped Artemis. “You don't like it?”
“I didn't say that.”
“Oh?”
Artemis lowered himself to the ground, taking slow graceful strides toward him. Like an actual cat.
“You're staring, professor.”
“I'm trying to understand what possessed you to walk into this room dressed as a cat.”
Artemis stopped directly in front of him, sitting upright. “Maybe I wanted to give my professor something cute to look at.”
Lucian's eyes traveled over him once before returning to his face. He still couldn't believe his eyes. Every time he thought he'd seen it all, this boy managed to pull something unexpected.
Lucian shook his head, fighting a smile. “You're ridiculous.”
He reached out and gently tugged one of the cat ears. It wobbled and Artemis immediately smacked his hand away.
“Hey!”
Lucian laughed. “Sorry. I couldn't resist.”
“You're ruining my ears.”
“Your ears?”
“My cat ears.”
“You're aware you're a grown man wearing cat ears, right?”
Artemis folded his arms. “And you're aware you're dating the grown man wearing cat ears?”
Lucian's smile softened. “Yes. And I wouldn't change a thing.”
Artemis climbed into his lap, putting Lucian's arms around him. He ran a finger Lucian's parted lips.
“Have you ever been rocked by a man, professor?” He leaned so close that their noses brushed.
“Not really,” Lucian breathed.
“You don't mind our first being in a club right?” Artemis kissed Lucian gently. “I want to do more than just dance.”
His lips trailed to Lucian's eyes. “I want your cock buried deep inside me.”
Lucian's hand gripped Artemis' ass tightly.
“Have you done this before?” The question left Lucian's lips before he even realized it. Artemis chuckled.
“Not at all. I've never even considered myself gay until you. So you better not screw it up or I'm going to be traumatized. For life.” Artemis said seriously.
