Twin Power

“It was during Lucius first visit. The day he first say you, he knew he wanted to have you. He heard Axel talking about how you were his fated mate, and he wanted to be the first in the pack to finally know how it feels to have a fated mate other than the Alpha and Luna. He wanted to claim you. Lucius overheard him. Your mother, not knowing anything about it asked Axel if he would show Lucius some of the stores in town. The two went off together. I had a disturbed feeling in my gut. I knew something was wrong, I could almost sense danger about to happen but, but I was not sure. I could not shake the feeling. I tried to tell Carter but he wouldn’t listen. He kept telling me that if something happens, we’ll know. He thought I meant a rogue attack. Lucius asked Axel if they can go anywhere else, like if they could go for a ride and see more of the surrounding area. Axel said there was a city not to far away from them. Some of the single wolves like to go there and find entertainment that our town does not have. The two of them borrowed Axels car and left. The city was only a thirty-minute drive. If you remember.”

“I remember this day; Connor was asking for Axel. He was looking everywhere. We heard from my mom that Axel was supposed to show him the town. When we was nowhere in sight, people became worried. Everyone was looking around for the both of them.” Luna Raven turned towards her audience. She held my sister who was sobbing bitterly.

“It was hours before we knew anything of what happened to them. Lucius was walking back up the road. When I first saw him, he was kicking stones, and whistling like he was happy. I also noticed something in his pocket. I was horrified at what I thought it looked like, but I did not dare mention it cause, I did not want to cause panic, and I feared no one would believe me. What I saw was a knife with blood on it, and I saw what looked like a finger, there was He also had blood on his shirt, and blood by his mouth like he had been eating something bloody.” I felt like I was going to be sick. I did not want to imagine what that was though, I prayed to the goddess it wasn’t what I thought.

Alistair speaks up and tells us some chilling information."There are legends of some werewolf packs that are bloodthirsty. They eat human flesh, some eat the flesh of their enemies like, other werewolves they count as enemies." he says as his face twists in disgust.

“When he came closer to the pack. I saw him start to thrash upon himself, I saw him beat himself brutally, and bite myself drawing blood. I was horrified at what I was seeing.”

“When he came on to the pack lands, Aunt Raven, he said that the car was attacked by rogues, that he and Axel fought them but, Axel had died.” Verona commented.

“Then where was the car? You all never asked that! Why do you think I was banished! I asked him that and he snarled at me. The look of hatred in his eyes towards me. He looked like he wanted to kill me. He told your father that I had thrown myself at him and was attempting to seduce him. He told your father that I was sex crazed and threatened to kill him. He was so convincing. Your mother defended me. He looked at her, and I heard what he whispered to her as his father distracted your father.”

“What did he say” Verona had a steel tone in her voice

“Dare to challenge me again, Mrs. Luna, and I will end you! Know your place and go back to the bedroom where you belong. Luna’s are good in the sheets and serving your Alpha!” I felt a fury brewing inside of me. My wolf howled in rage for the disrespect to our mother! I looked at everyone else who was listening, their faces were a mixture of horror and rage. A snarl tore from my throat. I felt like my anger was burning like a raging inferno.

“No! How dare he!” Verona roared “He dare disrespect my mother!”

“Why are you saying anything! You have let him tear you apart for years. You have let him raise your son to be just as twisted as he is! Your own son was going to execute you for disobeying him in favor of helping me out. He was going to Kill me! Your own sister, once he figured out who I was, he was going to kill me and throw me in that room filled with the fucking remains of our family! I don’t get how in the fuck he is not aware of Minerva. Thank God for that! She hangs on Travis’s arm, he’s no doubt fucked her, she attends the university with us.”

“Minerva is ALIVE!” Verona screamed in surprise

“Who do you think she is? Her last name is “Stonehill””

“Dear goddess! We need to get her! If Lucius or Travis connects the dots, that the other power twin has been in the pack this entire time, she’s dead!” Verona lamented. Her body was shaking, her eyes looked tortured and in a faraway place.

“Power twins?” Damien asked.

“Tabitha, there is a reason why he wanted you dead. There is a reason for everything that happened. Twins are very rare for werewolves, when twins are born to a pack, they have a connection, and can bring the pack immense power. Almost always they will have magical abilities, depending on their personalities or nature. There have been stories of one twin being able to control energy like lightening and another some have said one harnessed the power of the elements like fire, water earth, air or ice. It depends on each twin. There have been some being gifted with powers of telekinesis, mind reader, and seeing the future.”

I was shocked, my mouth dropped open, and I did not know how to speak. My friend Vincent strolled over and pushed my mouth shut like a cartoon character.
