Epilogue
Leia's POV
Kai's message flashed on my phone, "Where are you?"
I quickly typed back, "Can both of you come to my room? We need to discuss something important."
Moments later, there was a knock on my door. Kai and Xavier stepped in, their faces etched with concern.
Xavier was the first to speak. "You said you wanted to talk. Please don't say you're thinking of leaving us." His voice trembled slightly, betraying his worry.
Kai added, "When you mention 'we need to talk' in a message, it's usually not a good sign. It often means someone's ending things." He looked at me with apprehensive eyes.
Taking a deep breath, I replied, "First off, both of you, calm down. I have no intention of leaving either of you."
Seeing them still anxious, I continued, "There's just something important I need to share."
Xavier, trying to mask his relief with a casual tone, inquired, "So, what's it about?"
I took a deep breath and presented them with the pregnancy test results. Their eyes went wide as they tried to process the information.
"I'm pregnant," I declared, my voice shaking with excitement and apprehension.
A moment of stunned silence filled the room before Kai, his face breaking into a grin, scooped me up from the floor, holding me around my waist. He twirled me gently, his joy evident in his laughter.
"I'm elated, Leia," Kai said, his voice dripping with joy.
"Kai, stop! You're making me dizzy!" I exclaimed, laughing heartily. Once my feet touched the ground, I turned to see Xavier. His face was a canvas of pure joy. Without saying a word, he gently pulled me into a passionate kiss.
Kai, looking puzzled, interjected, "Wait, who's the father?"
"I thought the plan was for me and Xavier to try for a child. But Kai, remember, we had that unplanned night in San Francisco?" I said, raising an eyebrow.
"A paternity test might be needed soon," Xavier said. He continued, "Regardless of the outcome, I'm ecstatic about the child you're carrying, Leia. It means our family is growing."
Kai, always the pragmatic one, added, "Xavier, we must consider our living situation. We have the Alpha Manor but should invest in our own place. Somewhere we can truly call home and grow our family."
"I don't see the need for a new house," I began, trying to clarify my point. "We have ample homes already. I intend for our child and me to split our time between the Black Moon pack and the Bluewood Pack Manor."
Kai looked at me, hesitating for a moment before replying, "If that's what you truly want."
Ever the charmer, Xavier suggested with a sly grin, "Why don't we return to the party for a bit? Or perhaps we could... celebrate more privately in our room?" The twinkle in his eyes left little doubt about his implications.
Smiling at his forwardness, I proposed a compromise. "How about we first congratulate Eric and Rovina, then retreat to our room for quality time together?"
Both my mates nodded in agreement. We rejoined the celebration, shared our well wishes, and later retreated to the sanctuary of our shared space.
Kai's eyes traveled up and down my body as he said, "You look breathtaking in this pink dress, sweetheart. But I'd love even more to see you without it." He pulled me close with those words, twirling me into his arms. His lips found mine, igniting a passionate kiss.
Xavier approached from behind, his fingers deftly working the zipper of my dress. His fingers on my skin sent shivers down my spine, trailing. Kai pulled back from our kiss as the satin dress pooled at my feet, leaving me in just a thong. Both my mates looked at me, desire evident in their eyes, making the atmosphere in the room palpable.
"You're stunning," Xavier whispered, his voice low and husky. He began placing tender kisses on my neck while my hands eagerly worked on the buttons of his shirt, pushing the tuxedo jacket and shirt off his shoulders. Meanwhile, Kai's lips found the sensitive spot on my shoulder, trailing kisses down my back, leaving a fire trail.
Pulling away from Xavier, I turned my attention to Kai, our lips meeting in a feverish embrace. As I helped him shed his clothes, Xavier approached from behind, one hand gently cupping my breast, the other exploring further down.
With deft movements, Kai positioned me, entering with a passionate thrust, only to pause moments before I peaked. Then, seamlessly, Xavier took over, penetrating me from the front, while Kai took me from behind. The dual sensation, the rhythm, and the intensity pushed me over the edge, my moans harmonizing with theirs.
Exhausted, we settled down, with me nestled between my two mates, basking in the afterglow and their comforting embrace.

Seven months later.
The gender of our baby, as well as the identity of the father, remained a mystery to all of us. However, one thing was certain: I was expecting twins, as confirmed by the doctor. Today, I was eagerly awaiting Jennifer and Susan. They had just returned from their honeymoon. Sadly, I couldn't attend their wedding due to my health, but Xavier and Kai had been there to celebrate.
"You're glowing, Leia! It's good to see you in such great health," Susan remarked as she entered the opulent mansion of the Black Moon pack.
"Welcome back, you two! Come, sit down," I invited warmly, gesturing to the plush seats nearby.
Both Jennifer and Susan's eyes were drawn to my growing belly. After a shared glance, Jennifer hesitated before asking, "May I touch your baby bump?"
I nodded, giving her permission. As Jennifer gently touched my stomach, her healing magic emanated from her fingertips. To my astonishment, I felt the twin energies within me stir, radiating an incredible light.
"What just happened?" I asked, my voice tinged with confusion. Jennifer looked as taken aback as I felt.
"You are indeed having twins," Susan began, her voice filled with wonder. I nodded, already aware of that fact. But then she continued, "But what's truly astonishing is that you're carrying a child from both Xavier and Kai simultaneously."
I blinked in disbelief. "How is that medically possible?"
Jennifer, taking a moment to gather her thoughts, began, "In the mystical realm, there are rare instances in our history where a she-wolf has carried children from two mates simultaneously. It's believed that when the mates possess contrasting elemental powers – in this case, the dark and light – it can lead to such a phenomenon. Given that both your mates have these elemental affinities and you hold such power within you, it makes it feasible."
I sat back, trying to process the revelation. "Wow," I uttered, still reeling from the unexpected news.
"Don't give us those surprised looks," Susan began with a slight smile. "Remember, Leia, one of the children you're carrying belongs to a wolf shifter, not a human. The mystical realm operates differently, allowing for events that might seem unusual in the context of human pregnancies."
I nodded in understanding. After all, I wasn't entirely human but a witch paired with wolf mates.
As we were discussing this, Xavier and Kai entered the room. Susan quickly filled them in on Jennifer's findings through her healing magic. While the revelation took Xavier and Kai away, they didn't mirror my initial shock. Instead, their faces lit up with happiness.
"Do you want to know the genders as well?" Jennifer inquired, looking between the three of us.
"I'd prefer to keep it a secret," I replied with a warm smile. "Just knowing that both of my mates are the fathers at the same time is enough for me."
Kai and Xavier leaned in, each gently kissing my cheeks. Suddenly, a flash of light caught my eye. Jennifer was capturing our joyful moment with her phone.
"That picture is perfect," Susan exclaimed, peering at the screen. "You three look absolutely adorable." Glancing at her phone, I had to agree. The image portrayed pure happiness as I was nestled between the two loves of my life.
"Send that to me," Xavier said, his emotion-filled voice. "I want it framed, a testament to our unique family bond."
After our friends left, an intense craving for mac and cheese hit me. While Xavier took to the kitchen to whip up my favorite dish, Kai began massaging my tired legs, eliciting a sigh of relief from me.
****
The following morning, I woke up later than usual. Having napped extensively throughout the previous day, sleep had evaded me during the night. Glancing around, I noticed the bed was empty, leading me to surmise that Xavier and Kai were likely engrossed in their training or pack responsibilities. I was residing in the Black Moon pack, alternating my stay every six months with the Bluewood pack.
After completing my morning routine, which was becoming progressively more challenging due to my condition, I donned a maternity gown. I decided to head downstairs, even though I wasn't hungry. As I slowly descended the staircase, Xavier noticed my struggle and swiftly came to my aid, lifting me into his arms and transporting me to the breakfast table. Despite my initial protests of not being hungry, my doctor's stern instructions echoed in my mind, emphasizing the importance of a hearty breakfast.
"Just a little, for the baby," Xavier coaxed, offering me scrambled eggs and an assortment of green vegetables. To my surprise, my appetite seemed to reawaken after just one bite, and I allowed Xavier to feed me. Meanwhile, Kai, not wanting to be left out, poured a glass of fresh orange juice and handed it to me. It was endearing to witness the friendly competition between my two mates as they vied for my attention. Their actions always served as heartwarming reminders of their love and care.
Here's a revised version of the paragraph with added content and improved clarity:
"I'm going for a walk," I announced, pulling on my jacket.
"I'll come with you," Kai responded immediately.
"Me too," Xavier chimed in. I nodded, realizing that resisting their company would be futile. Both were ever so protective, and there was no way they would let me go alone. Their overprotective nature was, at times, endearing, yet sometimes overwhelming.
As we left, various pack members called out to us. Many sent well wishes, hoping for a safe delivery and healthy babies. The tight-knit community was excited about the new additions on the way.
The path we chose was familiar, surrounded by nature's serene beauty. However, a sudden uneasiness in my belly broke my reverie. At first, I tried to dismiss it, but the pain intensified with each step.
"Leia," both Kai and Xavier called out in unison, their voices tinged with panic as they saw my discomfort.
The situation became clear when I felt a sudden gush. "Take me to the hospital," I gasped as my water broke. I hadn't reached nine months yet, so this was a premature delivery. The realization filled me with anxiety.
When I arrived at the hospital, it was confirmed that I was going into labor prematurely. Xavier and Kai wore expressions of deep concern as I was rushed into the delivery room, wracked with pain. Due to the complications arising from my unique pregnancy and the disruption of my magical abilities, they were asked to remain outside.
"Luna, you'll need to push now," instructed the lead obstetrician. Complying with her direction, I groaned under the strain. Moments later, the air was filled with the soft wailing of a newborn.
"One more push, Luna. The second baby is on its way," the doctor urged. With a final, excruciating effort, another cry echoed in the room. Tears welled in my eyes as a nurse gently handed me two newborns: a boy and a girl. My fraternal twins, despite their early arrival, seemed healthy.
"They're so tiny," Xavier whispered, his voice laced with awe as he entered the room after the babies had been cleaned and swaddled. My magical state had finally stabilized.
"We're parents to a beautiful baby girl and boy," Kai said, his voice choked with emotion as he carefully cradled our daughter. Xavier, equally moved, gently held our son.
"Thank you, Leia, for giving us this incredible gift," Xavier murmured, his eyes glistening with tears.
Kai nodded in agreement, his eyes brimming with joyful tears. "I'm beyond grateful for this blessing, Leia. Thank you."

One year later
The baby girl was named Sian, after Kai and Xavier's mother, Sia. Kai was Sian's father, and the baby boy was named after my father, Nas. Xavier was the father of our little son. However, I never saw Kai and Xavier treating the two children differently. I witnessed them showering the same love upon both kids, just as if they were the fathers of both children, not just one.
It was such a happy family, and everything was sailing smoothly. I prayed for the peace of the souls of Daisy, Vincent, and his departed mother. I also included my family and Hubert's family in my prayers.
Rovina and Eric welcomed another child, a baby boy named Brendon. Jennifer and Susan adopted a young witcher baby boy named Killian. As I sat in the garden, watching my toddlers play and smile and my companions join in, I realized that I never thought I would be this happy – having mates and a family with them. The warmth of the scene touched my heart. I wasn't just the weak human I used to be; I had grown into a stronger witch. Despite wanting to run away many times, I felt proud to have stuck around. I also credit my mates for preventing me from escaping my problems. Somehow, we faced those problems together, and eventually, things started to turn out beautifully.
"Leia," Xavier called, and as I glanced at him and Kai, they both approached to plant gentle kisses on my forehead. I melted into their warm embrace, feeling a sense of comfort that only they could provide.
I stood with Xavier and Kai, basking in their affection. I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Gratitude for the love we had cultivated, for the family we had built together. Our journey wasn't over; life held more challenges and adventures. But with Xavier and Kai by my side, I was ready to face it all – a united trio against whatever the world threw our way.

This series has reached its conclusion, and while I had been contemplating the idea of crafting a separate story for Sian and Nas along with potentially extending the series, I find myself uncertain about this decision. I haven't yet made up my mind, so I'm unable to provide any definite assurances. However, if there are any developments or changes, I will make sure to keep you informed.
