Chapter 59 - Saving Mr Raymond

I spent the night with Mary, helping and learning from her to make medicine to treat severe wounds. I have told Milano through a mind link that I won't be going back to his room. He was a little upset about that but I need my time. It's true that I am his mate and he has marked me, making me his forever. I am now his Luna and I do have responsibilities to the pack.

It was nearly morning by the time I went to Teddy's room. Bella has messaged me that she had to leave after Teddy slept. Mr Raymond had ordered every worker to leave the mansion. I do have doubts about his intentions but I have to wait until morning. I can't leave Teddy alone. When I reached the room, he was in a deep sleep. I had to change my dress as it got stained while making the medicine. After changing into my pajamas, I got next to Teddy on his small bed. As soon as I laid down next to him, he came and cuddled me as if he sensed my presence even in his sleep.

I opened my eyes, sensing some danger around me. There is someone in my room. I could smell him and at once I understood who it was. It's Milano's father. Before he could do anything, I got up in an instance. He was shocked for a moment and that was enough for me. I didn't want to wake Teddy up, so I sneaked through his side and got out of the room. He followed me and I ran towards the stairs. I just wished to have more speed and it actually happened. The first thing I did was to go to Milano's room. I entered his room without knocking. He was sleeping in his bed.

“Milano, wake up.”

“Sarah, what happened? Is it already morning?” He asked.

“No, your dad just tried to attack me.”

“What? I am going to kill him.” He jumped up from the bed and said,

“No, you are not going to do anything. I just came here to tell you what happened to your father. He is not your dad at the moment. He has been bewitched and we have to save him. Don't try to provoke him. I am going to lead him to the roof garden. You have to bring Mary up there. I will need her help. If you can bring your mom and grandma, it would be great. I don't know if they are in any way affected by the black magic. I know it's going to take time for you to get there. Just call Mary and she'll help you.” I told him and quickly went out.

I saw Mr Raymond near the stairs. It's better to take the elevator which is more nearby than the stairs. Mr Raymond wouldn't be able to catch up with me. So it will give me more time to think about how to tackle the situation. Within a blink of a second, I reached the elevator. I pressed the button and entered the elevator. I saw Mr Raymond hurrying towards me, but by the time he reached near the elevator I had already pressed the button 4, and the elevator door was closed. After reaching the fourth floor, I kept the elevator open for some time, so that Mr. Raymond wouldn't be able to come up using the elevator. He will be using the stairs.

As per my plan, I let the elevator go down after a few minutes. As I thought, Milano came with others in the elevator. Grandma and Milano's mom looked really tense. Mary came to me and asked.

“What happened? The sun has not yet risen.”

“We can't wait until sunrise. Mr Raymond came to Teddy's room to attack me. I didn't want Teddy to know anything and that's why I asked Milano to bring you all here. Mr Raymond will be here anytime.” I said,

“What's going on Milano? What is she talking about? Why would Winston attack her?” Grandma couldn't believe my words.

“There is a lot to tell you. Lot of things happened in the last few hours. Just be here and watch what happens.” Milano told them.

“He is coming.” Mary said,

“Milano, take them behind that swing. Mary, make sure that you are hidden from his sight.”

Milano and Mary acted quickly and took his grandma and mom to the swing. I walked towards the open terrace and stood where everyone could see us. Mr. Raymond came towards me and he was panting hard as he had climbed up so many stairs.

“I have warned you to stay away from Milano. Why don't you understand? Now you have left me with no choice. Be ready to say goodbye to your dear life.” Mr Raymond slowly approached me but I didn't even blink. I have to keep him engaged for sometime. Mary told me that the best time to end black magic is during the sunrise. There is still half an hour left for the sunrise. I need to use Milano and his family to distract him.

“Tell Milano that you are going to kill me.” I said,

“Why would I do that?” He asked.

“Because I am his mate.”

Mr Raymond began to laugh loudly at my words. He looked at me with disdain.

“There's nothing like mates. Mates can be created. It's like the flicking of fingers for a great witch.” Mr Raymond said,

“Who are you? Why are you controlling Mr Raymond?” I asked.

“Oh, so you have found out that he is being bewitched. I can't kill you because he wants you. So be ready to enjoy your new life.” Mr Raymond’s voice tone changed and became a feminine one.

“What do you mean?” I asked. I have to keep him busy for some more time.

“You will soon get to know everything. Don't worry, you will be under my control. Let's go darling.” The feminine voice said,

“I will come with you but before that I want to know who you are? If I come with you, will you leave Mr Raymond forever?” I asked.

“You have no choice my dear. You come with your consent or not, I don't care. Leaving Mr Raymond, is not under my discretion. I will continue to possess him until I have been told. Now that's enough of talking, come with me.”

He said and created a black entrance in the middle of the garden and I knew whoever the witch is, she wants to transform me to another place. I didn't want the witch to know that I am a hybrid and for that I needed a distraction. The sun is rising and it's the apt time to act. As in cue, Milano came out from behind the swing and that time was enough for me to perform my magic.

With a swift motion of my hand I did the chanting and Mary came out to help me. She held Mr Raymond in place with magic. He had his back towards me and so couldn't see that I am the one performing the magic. The witch might think that Mary is the one doing the magic. I concentrated on my magic and did one of the complicated magic which the most experienced witches fail to do. In a swift motion of my hand, I pulled out the evil power in his body and threw it away towards the rising sun. As soon as the rays of sun fell on the evil power, it got destroyed.

Mr Raymond began to fall and Milano caught him in time. Since no one was at the mansion, Milano alone couldn't bring his father down because of his fractured leg. Mary helped him to lift Mr Raymond with magic. Soon we were in his room. He is still unconscious.

“He was under a very strong black magic. It will take time for him to heal. I will give him medicine so that he will get well soon.” Mary said to everyone.

“How did she do magic?” Grandma and his mom asked at the same time pointing at me.

“Mom, I will tell you everything. But before that let her go and check on Teddy.” Milano said,

I should leave them, so that Milano would be able to tell his family everything about me. I came out with Mary and walked towards the stairs.

“Mary, did Mrs Raymond have any effect of the black magic?” I asked.

“No, they are not affected. I think he was bewitched by giving him some potion. It was really strong and you did a great job.” She complimented me.
