Chapter 122 Going for a rescue

Chapter 122 Going for a rescue
122\. Going for a rescue

"Anna is safe, right? Brian," I shook his shoulders. "Our daughter is safe, isn't she?"

Someone from the guards sobbed. My head instantly looked around at the men so I could pick the sobbing one out. But everyone was vulnerably breathing and their red eyes told a different story. A story I wouldn't like to hear.

As I was looking around everyone, I heard my beta, his voice poorly choking, "They breached… the mansion. Th-they shot Madam Martha and another nanny who was looking after Anna and took her away."

No. No. No. Please… this was not true.

It can't be. It's just… I found my place next to Brian as we both wept together.

This was a dream. It had to be a bad dream because I was so happy in the morning. Everything was perfect and clean. Aura and I were savouring moments with our daughter. We were happy.

How could everything turn upside down? Is it even possible for a happy family to scatter like the coins on a carrom board?

"Miss. Martha," Aura won't be happy. She will die.

"Don't worry Damien, she's fine. The bullet didn't damage her organ. She is alive but the other nanny succumbed to death." My friend said before I imagined worse.

Thankfully, that was good news. Miss. Martha was alive… It was enough motivation to pick myself up and compose my disheveled form.

"I will break every bone in Peter's body. I will skin him alive and after all of his blood has shed… I will burn him with blue fire." I told myself, using all my strength to force the grief and shock down.

Then I turn to Brian. He was in pieces. His emotions whirling around him like a gust of wind.

"It is no time to cry, Brian!" I shook his shoulders.

I am an alpha. There is no time to weep or fall weak. No time to mourn for a dead nanny or an injured motherly figure. There is only avenging the beasts who schemed against my family. Against my loved ones.

Peter will not be left alive this time. I won't let the law interfere or respect it this time. I will act as an alpha from history and take the matters in my own hands.

I will hunt every traitor and burn them alive with blue fire. I will drain all their blood and bathe with it.

I will bring hell for Peter Dursley and everyone who helped him against me.

I will set an example every living being, a shifter or a human, would remember forever and ever.

Having cleared my throat loudly, I looked around every man and back at my beta, "He abducted your Luna and drugged your alpha. His men breached your alpha's mansion and daringly stole your alpha's daughter from her house. Her safe place. They killed her nanny and injured others… who are your brothers and sisters. A rogue like Peter Dursley dared to challenge your alpha. It is time we showed him and his rogue pack what it means to declare a war."

Heads nodded, every man's eyes danced with a fire of vengeance.

"I want each of you to rip their chest and pull their hearts out and bathe with their blood. I command you to bring every enemy to my feet and stand with me as I burn each of them with blue fire." the full impact hits all of them as I bellowed.

"Taylor, I want you to call the hackers. John, gather the special force. Mike, bring our deathly weapons and blue fire kerosene…." one by one I allotted everyone with their jobs, and they stormed away to complete their task.

I was left alone with Brian and Archer. While Brian kept rooted to the spot I left him in, Archer shook his head in defeat.

'He's vulnerable, Damien. He accuses himself of Anna's abduction. He's been like that since I met him.' Archer informed me over the mind link.

The information curved my lips. Turning around I glanced at Brian. He was closer to Anna. He loved her like his own daughter, like she was his and not mine.

"Buddy, you need to hold yourself." I sat down before him.

His shoulders shook. Brian blinked a rear tear that was hanging on his lashes as he said, "Do you remember the email you received from the anonymous sender?"

"That was by Maria Nixon." I said.

Brian lifted his face as he nodded, "It was Peter's lawyer, Edwin Holden."

"Are you sure?" A horrible shiver crawled up my spine.

"Our tech team tracked the sender's location this afternoon and told me. It was sent from their law firm through a hidden ID." His words shuddered through me.

More than that, Maria's face worried me. I was guilty. My heart clenched in shame for doubting her. I nearly killed her.

'She's no saintess. Don't forget she escaped from the hospital too.' Hunter reminded me.

"They claimed to take Aura and Anna away. They succeeded, Damien. We could do nothing." His shoulders sagged lower, making me lose my own hope.

But Brian can't give up. Because if he loses, I lose too. He has been my great support system. Without him I can't save my wife and daughter.

Hence, shaking him aggressively I screamed near his ear, "They kidnapped our two week old daughter, beta Brian. Anna is too small to die. It would be shameful if we let them hurt our girl. You are her godfather, Brian, you've promised me to take care of her forever." I purposely picked words that would fuel him up.

"You are her dadda. You can't betray your daughter. Wake up, Brian. Don't fall weak. For Anna you must gain your senses and fight with me. It is a war, Brian. They declared a war by abducting our girls. We need to bring them back." As if possessed, Brian's limped body shook.

"My daughter… my Anna." His heart hammered in her chest, enrage surging through his body.

Then his fingers outgrew their claws and he tore the table behind himself into pieces, including the chairs.

"I will quench my thirst with their blood. I will fucking kill everyone involved in this shit." He rattled and turned towards me.

"We will bring them back, Damien. I will fulfill my promise as godfather and protect my child. I will not let anything happen to Anna." It was a determination made to himself before he turned away.

Brian plucked his phone out and dialed numbers. I saw him make calls one after another. He ordered new people and doubled the special force I demanded. His eyes burned like inferno, his mouth literally hissing like that of a thirsty traveler.

I was amazed to hear him talk with people I had not even assumed to approach. He is always three steps ahead of me. Brian has all the qualities of becoming an alpha.

When he saw me staring at him, he said, "I will seriously drink their blood, Damien."

For the first time in my life, my body trembled with thrill. This man was more than what I anticipated him to be. I was thinking about him only when my phone buzzed.

Oh my phone, I blinked my eyes and searched for it around the gazebo. It was in the opposite corner under a piece of wood.

Grabbing it out I looked at the notifications, "Brian," There was a message from an unknown number.

"What?" Brian joined me just as I was opening the message.

"Bloody hell!" I didn't even read the first line when Brian snatched my phone away. "This is from Maria."

Deep anger etched itself in my bones. I was about to grab my phone back but Brian read the message aloud.

It read-

Maria on the other side, Damien. Though I hate you and your mate for being cruel to me, I cannot let a beast torture a poor infant for the sins her parents committed. I don't want your daughter to pay for your sins, that's the only reason why I am risking my life and sharing Peter's location with you.

Come to the abandoned warehouse located on the outskirts of Manhattan.

Peter's locked Aura in a room so he can ravish her all night with other men. But your daughter, he's going to leave her at the mercy of starving German Shepherds.

You only have twenty minutes, Alpha Damien. Peter is celebrating with his men now, and exactly twenty minutes after, he'll have your daughter eaten alive by the dogs and shoot her video for you.

Come soon. I am afraid he's turned into a maniac.

My hands numbed out. I felt hollow inside as my wolf cursed himself for judging Maria Nixon.

Her intentions were wrong but she truly didn't mean to harm my daughter. She was right that day. Only I was too infuriated to listen.

"Hello, John," Brian's voice yanked me back to reality. "Peter's location is found. Get our special force straight to the address I am sending you. Don't forget to remind Mike to carry several gallons of blue fire kerosene. We have a whole pack of dirty rogues to burn alive."

Blue fire kerosene is a flammable chemical our scientists invented using wolfsbane oil. It burns slowly through the skin and the sensation of burning is nothing similar to normal burning. The wolves would burn for hours and won't die unless every freaking part of their body's turned into ashes.

"Use helicopters, submarines, ships or whatever fucking transportation you desire... Just reach the location on time."

Archer was amazed by the change of my beta's tone. From a crying given up baby to a composed ruthless beta… he was playing his character well.

Once his call disconnected, Brian caught hold of my arm and moved ahead.

"Let's go, Alpha Damien, we have a war to win." He said before jumping into his car.

Tbc…

Maria turned out an angel! Wow... This was another shocker, wasn't it?! Let's how or whether Alpha Damien and Brian will be able to save their girls. Don't forget to comment and follow me, and vote please.
