Chapter Sixty Nine; Nursing The Alpha 11

Miya’s POV

“Who gave you the permission to cook with meat in this stew? Can you even afford it?”

I ignored him and continued devouring my food faster this time, I stuffed my mouth with the meat so that I will not have to answer him.

I successfully chewed the food until it and swallowed it, then I put my hand to grab the spoon to fetch more food into my hand but my hand just landed on the wooden table.

I looked and saw that the food was no longer in front of me, instead another person was eating from it, the food had replaced the medicine I brewed.

“Alpha I know you are eager to taste this delicious mouth watering food made by my beautiful artistic hands, but you still have to take your medicine”

“No thank you, I’ll just eat the rice, it is delicious indeed”. And then just like that he finished sting my food.

It would be impolite to collect it back from him, I left him, went inside and came back with another plate of rice kept it on the table and sat down to eat, it was not there.

It had miraculously escaped from my side of the table and landed on top of the other plate which was now empty.

I really don’t like playing with food, “I g you wanted to eat, just tell me, is it that hard?”

I glared at him but still stood up to go back to the kitchen, if not because I am very hungry, I would have forgotten about the food entirely.

“Didn’t you cook or me, you can only eat when I am full, I am the Alpha her and this is my house”

He said that as if he was the only Alpha on the world, I would have been one also if not for that man whose name I don’t even want to call.

I ignored him and entered the kitchen, sat on a stool and ate the food until I was full, then I washed the plates and put away the remaining food in a Tupperware in the fridge.

I washed his own too, then I took his medicine to him, this time it wasn’t a herbal medicine, it was a capsule and I was glad when he collected it without making it hard for me.

I put away the water and came back to take a seat in the parlor.

“Achu”

“Ah!”

“Ahem!”

I heard the first two and yet ignored it, but he kept coughing and making those weird sounds, I couldn’t turn a deaf ear again, he could be getting more seriously sick.

I stood in front of him with my hand on my hip and gave him a questioning look.

“I have a head ache”

“But I also gave you Panasonic together with the cough medicine, it’ll soon ware off, just sleep it off, I’ll go get your blanket.”

I went upstairs against my will, got his big fluffy blanket and covered him.

“My head still aches, you should massage if for me”

I did.

“My leg is a bit cold, can you rub your palm against IG to arm it?”

I did.

“What of launch?”

I brought it for him.

“I want to watch tV!”

I turned it for him.

“The house is dirty and the dust is making me sneeze”

So I mopped and cleaned quietly, the house was very big and it took a lot of time.

I swear this is the last task I’ll do, peeping through the window while I cleaned it, I saw the sun setting indicating that it was already getting late.

It meant Jamie didn’t keep her word, she said she’ll come back for me, and like a fool I believed her and waited for her while I served this tiger Alpha like a house girl.

Why do people do this? Realizing that I was cheated by her, I stopped cleaning the window and returned the bucket to the store, sprayed the rag on a line and headed for the door.

My mind was already made up to go home, it doesn’t matter if his sickness got worse, after all, I am not even a real medical personal, it’s her fault to leave me unsupervised with a sick patient like him, a VIP like him, an Alpha for that matter.

I just need to walk past the the kitchen and the wine cellar then take a right turn and right steps would take me out of the house, I just hoped he doesn’t luck it.

I was wrong, the door was locked and there was no key, I couldn’t even find the remote he used to open the door last time, I couldn’t even go outside, I had to meet him to open the door.

As if on cue, he dame downstairs and headed to the wine cellar decorated with fancy glass walls and imported mahogany stools, there were a lot of variety of wines and I couldn’t help but stare at them almost forgetting what had brought me there in the first place.

“You look like you live my wine collection, which one would you like to drink?”

“Bruno”

I muttered without even thinking, if he gives me a bottle, we’ll go and take it together with Cherry my only real friend in this pack.

“Okay, He turned around scanned the place but came back with another wind in his hand”

“That’s not the one I mentioned”

“I know, I don’t have that one so we’ll just drink this one”

He brought out two cups and was about to open it.

“Are you nit going to give me the wine?”

“What would ever make you think that?”

“You asking me which one I wanted to drink should be enough reason right?”

“Right” He agree but still continued to pour the wine into two glass cups, then he handed me one cup.

I looked at him closely to check if the small cough and head ache was already escalating to something else, at first he gave me a hard time today and expects me to drink with him!

Secondly he was sick and should take care of his health, what if my work here becomes useless and he becomes even worst? I better not be part of this.

“I didn’t coke to drink, just open the front door for me, I want to go home”

He didn’t look surprised at all when I told him I wanted to go home and he didn’t get mad for leaving his hand hanging with a glass of wine, he ignored me and took a gulp from his cup.

“Noo Alpha, you are no well, you shouldn’t be drinking this!”

I don’t know the name of the wine he was taking, but it sure looked expensive and what’s worse, it’s a red wine, It could affect him negatively, I had to persuade him not to drink it.

“I am very well thank you, you have taken very good care of me and I don’t feel sick anymore, consider this a a celebratory drink and just drink with me”

I know am good but even I am not that good. I don’t believe him, there no way he was already healthy after it being just one day,

“If you think my expertise is good enough, then you’ll also take my word when I tell you it’s still early to drink”

“I am going to drink anyway, why don’t you sit with me and monitor me so that I don’t over drink”

“What’s really special about this drink that you want to drink all of sudden?”

“I just want to”

I knew there was no way to stop him from doing whatever he wanted, I could only give in to take one or two cups at most.

“Two cups, we’ll only drink two cups and you’ll open the door for me to go home, it’s either that or I break your windows and escape”

“Okay? Two cups it is”

I didn’t know he lived his windows so much that it made him agree to me instantly, if only I knew I would have threatened him with it, I’ll try to remember that in the future.

“Here’s yours”. He gave me my cup and refilled his own while I stared at him. It really surprised me that I was the one taking wine with him in his house at night, if someone had told me about this day, I wouldn’t have believed him.

I sat on the seat opposite to him and took the wine from his hand.

Wether it was us drinking or the excited look on his face, I didn’t know which one surprised me the most, all I knew was that I wanted to finish the two cups and get out of there before something else happens, this Alpha is is not to be blindly trusted.
