It was Natasha’s turn to look shocked. She gasped in disbelief and stepped back, letting her eyes wander over Haven for a second “ You? You’re Haven?” She asked as a smirk made it’s way to her lips. She let out a chuckle and rested on the desk behind her.

“ I see it now, so you are Lucious’ bitch, Huh?” She laughed again and for the first time, she allowed her eyes travelled all over Haven from head to toe and a pang of jealousy hit her immediately. She had heard how beautiful the so called Alpha’s mate was but seeing her in person surpassed all of Natasha’s imagination.

Long platinum silver hair reaching her waist, beautiful almond blue eyes under thick lashes, a nose just the right size and an hour glass figure, the so called Alpha’s mate was the definition of beauty and perfection. Even though she was putting on a simple pair of jeans and a top, she would beat Natasha hands down in her most decked up form.

“Hmmph!” She turned and flicked her hair to the side “ I see Lucious has tried his best to keep you away from me. It’s good I met you here” She rubbed her tummy and looked up at Haven with sly eyes.

“You see, Natasha doesn’t like wasting time, so I’ll just get to the point. I want you out of Lucious’ life.. sorry, I mean out of my husband’s life. You do realize we’re still married right? And as his wife, I’m aLso the Luna of this pack”

“Have you gone mad?” Haven couldn’t believe what this woman was telling her.

“I am pregnant for Lucious as you can see” She rubbed her baby bump again “ Lucious and I are going to have a baby soon. It’s only logical, if you have any shame to leave this pack and go away. You wouldn’t want to be a woman who ruins another woman’s marital life now, would you?”

Haven scoffed in disbelief “ Another woman? I am his mate.”

“And I am his wife” Natasha replied rightfully “ I’m going to be the mother of his child”

“I do not care” Haven waved it off “ I’m leaving now” She turned to leave but Natasha hurriedly grabbed her arm.

“Listen to me you bitch, Natasha always gets what she wants and I want you out of my lovely husband’s life. You have no right to be here, Haven. You aren’t even his mate in the real sense now are you?” She titled her head to look at Haven’s bare neck “ Lucious hasn’t even marked you and I’m sure he hasn’t touch you either” She chuckled.

“Let go of me!” Haven yanked her hands away while Natasha laughed.

“What? Why are you glaring at me like that? Natasha mocked “ The Luna is angry? Did I say something wrong?”

“Just shut up!” Haven said through gritted teeth “ I’ve had enough of your nonsense.

“Natasha doesn’t speak nonsense” Natasha clicked her tongue “ it’s obvious he hasn’t still gotten over me yet. Lucious misses me and my touches” She ran her finger over Haven cheeks “ And that’s why he still isn’t able to bring himself to touch you”

Haven slapped her hand away angrily “ I said stop it!” She was boiling at this point. All of Natasha’s words were like daggers to her ears.

“Oh ho ho, someone’s getting angry…” She shook her head “ Sorry darling, but the truth is bitter, ain’t it?”

“Whatever” Natasha flicked her hair again “ Lucious belongs to me and me alone. He’s been madly in love with me and he will always be. I am starting a family with him and I don’t wajt any bitch around us so Just disappear from here and never return” She said and turned to walk about to the desk.

“ I am Lucious’ mate” Haven’s words stopped her on her tracks.

“I am his fated mate” Haven said more loudly now “ And he doesn’t belong to you. Lucious is mine and no one will be able to take him away from me. Not even you or your child” Her eyes drifted towards Natasha’s stomach for a second.

“And what were you saying? That he loves you? Do I have to refresh your memory about the lowly and disgusting act you did before? Do you want me to remind you of your slutty life—”

“HEY!” Natasha growled.

“What?” Haven raised her brows “ Oh, sorry darling but the truth is bitter, ain’t it?” She used Natasha’s words against her and chuckled

Natasha’s face went red with anger “ Are you mocking me?”

Haven stopped chucking and her expression turned serious “ No. I’m just putting you in your rightful place. I am his mate, his M-A-T-E. Sorry, I had to spell it out Incase you didn’t understand. Seems your brain is to small to understand anything anyway”

“Shh” Haven cut her off “ Relax, don’t yell. It’s not good for Lucious’ baby, don’t you know? So lower your tone. You are speaking to your Luna right now, show some respect!” Haven demanded with the sternest voice she could muster.

“ I’ll say this for the last time, never forget it. I am Lucious’ mate. You are nobody to him, just a woman carrying his child. You were his past Natasha, but I am his present and certainly his future too. Always remember that” She and turned to walk away but stopped.

“Oh,” Haven turned back to look at Natasha’s dumbstruck face “ This mess you’ve made here, make sure to clean it up. I’ll hate for my mate to see his office in a disgusting state as you. Clean up okay?” She flashed a smile at her before turning to walk away.

Natasha’s chest heaved up and down in anger at Haven’s words

What insolence! What disrespect! How dare this bitch of a girl talk to her like that?!

“ HOW DARE YOU?” She yelled at Haven’s retreating figure in anger “ YOU WILL PAY GOR THIS!! I SWEAR! YOU’LL PAY FOR DARING TO LAY A HAND ON ME!!” She screeched. Her eyes landed on the big coffee mug she brought and without thinking, picked it up and started to rush after Haven.

Out of hurry, she forgot all about the broken shard of glass on the floor and ended up stepping on one. She screeched in pain as the glass pierced her leg painfully and ended up, losing balance and falling to the ground.

Haven had just stepped out of the room when an ear shattering scream reached her ears. Startled, she ran back to the room and was shocked to see Natasha’s figure on the ground.

Haven ran to her wondering what was wrong, who turned around to see her on the floor. Shocked, Haven rushed back to her figure on the ground wondering what was wrong. nd her eyes went wide with horror when she saw blood starting to pool on the ground beneath her.

“ N– Natasha? What’s wrong? What happened to you?” Haven crouched down besides her.

Natasha whimpered, her face contorting in pain. She breathed heavily, her face twisting as she cried “ The baby… it’s COMING!!!”
