Chapter 57 - Alpha Daniel

Alpha Daniel’s pov

I still couldn’t believe what I was seeing. My whole pack converted from me, and that was supposed to be impossible since I was the Alpha who made the calls!

My body was still feeling heavier, my eyes blinking way too much for it to be natural. I felt the deep cuts from the whip that had torn into my skin that were healing slowly, but I knew it the second that Allison had called me; this was the end.

There was no way I could kill the hundreds of men staring at me; some shifted into beasts, and some did not. Soldiers that were loyal to the one man standing before them, a head taller but not bigger than me, I was the biggest beast. That dick knew that too. Standing in my suit that was too big on him was pathetic!

“Looks like you finally made the encore, Daniel, it’s time to end this, and once you die, I’m going to have that mate of yours.... that power is going to be good to have... and her body…” he wasn’t even ashamed of it, talking about having my mate, that fucker!

“Stay the fuck away from my mate!” I couldn’t wait when my beast was already rushing from the gate I had descended from, wanting blood on my claws that reached out for the Alpha that still hadn’t moved. Who the fuck did he think he was and take everything from me!? My pack, land, and my mate! I could kill him for less than that dirty hobo!

My claws scratched the dirt below me when I leaped at the man, who looked bored seeing me charge him. I was not even blinking once to the strong adrenaline pumping inside my veins, pushing me to take him out!

I could feel the heartbeat of the calm bastard when my beast was stunned back being pushed off him. What the fuck!? I made another go, attacking from the right side when the pack was backing up like this was some kind of duel when it wasn’t! This was me getting rid of vermin that needed to be killed!

“Are you done? We can do this all day. You can’t touch me; your mate made me invincible….” I was panting, with my head down the slightest, black eyes looking up. My mate!? That was fucking bullshit! Allison hated him the same as I did. I could feel that searing in my chest from the matebond, and her feelings didn’t lie, not to me!

“That’s bullshit. Allison wouldn’t do anything for you! She hates everyone, and I am finally starting to understand why!” My voice was powerful against the sniveling cowards that were cowering now, flinching like I couldn’t see it still being wounded, telling Allison to take our baby and leave. I was not going to let anyone harm them!

“Oh, she will do a lot for me, Daniel. I can’t wait to have her begging me to fuck her when the heat starts, it was hard when she was around my pack, but she would have killed me if I touched her, even before you killed my son…” he was speaking coldly when the pack was getting restless, I did kill that fucker’s son. I wasn’t going to be sorry, he tried to rape my mate, and that was not fucking acceptable!

“I did kill him, and you know what? I would do it again….” My beast was snarling, growling at the smirking man in my suit. He even looked like someone that you could talk to and not like the fucking trash he was, disgusting bastard!

“Oh, I know, that’s why I killed your pup as payback, can’t have that pesky offspring running around and ruining what I am going to fucking build up with that little witch of yours….” My heart stopped, taking a stumbling step back to the coldness of the Alpha before me that showed no remorse and wasn’t lying. He killed my pup.

It was like the air was drained from my lungs, my paws could not hold onto the ground below, and my beast was howling out over the hundreds of beats that had gathered around us.

The insane anger inside me, the one that I have always tried to hide since I met Allison, trying to become a better mate, man, and father.

He took that from me.

My body reacted, and I couldn’t stop if I tried! I would rip away his smirk, making him drown in his own blood before I was done with him!

I was up on my hind legs now, smashing into whatever the fuck was between me and the fucker that had taken my pup, my fucking pup! Now he was just thinking that he could get away with it!? Take my mate!

My jaws drooling, eyes open, and darkness spilling out along with the open gape that showed all my teeth; I wasn’t a coward hiding behind some stupid spell, killing newborns because she was mine!

“I told you, no matter what you do, this shield is from your mate and locked away neatly since I made sure they killed your pup. You are going to be slaughtered by your own pack, Alpha….” I wasn’t listening to my eyes were gone, darkness clawing and scratching at the barrier that had been put up, taking anyone else that came close! Standing on my hind legs, slashing my claws at the murderer inside his fucking bubble!

The snarl came out of my snot when I heard the sweetest sound in the world, turning my ears the slightest, seeing the small, silver-colored beast coming up the distance to my relief and anger. Why the fuck was she here!? She had failed me like everyone else when she let the pup die!

“Daniel, I’m coming, baby!” she was panting hard like she had been running for miles and never stopping when I growled louder; the pack was bowing down against their will, growling and complaining to the asshole that was still not sure what was happening either.

My mate ran right through the pack, and nobody touched her, so the enemy alpha before me really wanted her, always had since the day he fucking saw her! I growled more when she came closer, wanting to stroke herself against my wounded body, and I wouldn’t let her. She helped kill our pup! That traitorous bitch that looked like she didn’t understand what I was talking about, she fuckin knew!
