Chapter 39

Blake's POV

I couldn't believe Aurora was in heat. How was that even possible when she didn't have a wolf? So many thoughts were going through my mind as I drove her to one of the homes I owned in the woods. I couldn't take her back to the Packhouse in the condition she was in. Her arousal was so strong and welcoming that I knew any unmated male would have a hard time keeping their hands off her. I knew if any of my Pack Members stepped out of line, I would kill them without hesitation.

"Mom, I need you and Brandy to meet me at my house by the lake immediately," I mind-linked at my mom.

"What's going on? Is Aurora okay?" My mom asked worriedly.

"She is in heat."

"What? How is that possible?" My mom asked.

"I am not for sure, but there is only one way I can think of that she could be going through heat," I replied

"Brandy and I will be there soon. You should tell John what is going on. You know he will be upset if you don't," My mom said, and we ended the link. I knew my mom was right, and I needed to tell John what was happening. If I didn't, he would worry. So, I decided to mind-link him.

"John, I need to tell you something, but I don't want you to freak out," I said.

"What's going on? Is it Aurora? Is she okay?"

"Yes, but she is in heat," I said.

"How could my sister be in heat? She doesn't have a wolf," John mind-linked back.

"She doesn't have one yet, but I believe she will get one soon. Anyway, I am taking her to my house by the Lake."

"You better not take advantage of my sister, Blake," John said, and I couldn't help but growl at his disrespectful tone.

"You need to watch who you are talking to, John. You might be my Mate's brother and my best friend, but I am still the Alpha. Plus, don't forget that Aurora is mine," I linked.

"I know, and I am sorry. But Aurora is still my little sister Blake. Please don't do anything that she will regret. You know she isn't herself right now," John said.

"I know, man. I promise I will never hurt her. I have already called my mom and Brandy. They are going to meet us here," I linked back.

"Blake, I am in pain," Aurora cried, causing me to look at her.

"I have to go. Aurora needs me."

"Okay, take care of my sister." I closed the link.

"I promise everything is going to be okay, Aurora," I said as I drove.

About twenty minutes later, I pulled up to the house. I went over to the passenger side and opened the door. I picked Aurora up and took her into the house. Her skin was warm, and I could feel her move closer to me while I walked inside the house.

I tried to place her on the couch, but she held on to me tightly, causing me to look at her. "Your touch is soothing the burn," She said.

Don't worry, My Love. I am going to take care of you," I said. I picked her up, took her to the tub, and began filling the tub with cold water. I took off her clothes, leaving her in her bra and panties, and placed her into the tub. I sat next to her on the side of the tub.

"Blake, this isn't helping me. I still feel like I am on fire. I need you to help me," Aurora said, causing me to groan.

"I am trying to help you, Baby. The cold water should help you with the pain," I replied.

"Well, it isn't. Only your touch has been able to help me. You told me I was in heat. What does that mean?" Aurora asked. She had also asked me that in the car, but I didn't know if it was a good idea to tell her that her body needed me to calm the fire in her. That her body wanted to Mate with me until I knotted inside her.

"Blake," I suddenly hear my mom say. I was thankful that she chose this time to arrive. I didn't know how much longer I could keep my hands off Aurora. Her scent kept getting stronger, calling for me to take her.

"We are in the bathroom, mom," I said, and I could hear her and Brandy walking our way.

"Oh, my Goddess, Aurora. Are you okay?" My mom asked

"No, I am not," Aurora replied, not taking her eyes off me.

"Blake, you should go sit in the living room. We will take care of Aurora," My mom said as she and Brandy started putting ice in the tub.

"No, Blake, don't go. I need you," Aurora cried. I wanted to stay with her, but I knew it was best to do what my mom said.

"I am sorry, Love. I will be in the living room," I replied and turned to leave.

"No, Blake, please don't go," Aurora cried.

"It is okay, Sweetheart. He is in the other room," My mom said. This should help you.

I turned on the tv and tried to focus on the news but couldn't. Aurora's scent was getting stronger by the second, making it much harder for me to stay calm and in control. All I wanted to do was fuck Aurora until she passed out. I was harder than I had ever been before.

"BLAKE, I NEED YOU. IT BURNS SO BAD," I suddenly heard Aurora scream, causing me to stand. Before I could reach the restroom, my mom walked out of the bathroom and came over to me.

"Nothing is working. I don't know if we can calm the burn," My mom said.

"What do you mean? We have to do something," I said.

"There is only one thing that will calm her. You have to Mate with her, or she could die."
