Chapter 35
**Aurora's POV**
"So you knew you would have a Mate and still fucked other females?"
"Aurora, I am sorry, Love. Everything that I did was before meeting you. Once I looked into your eyes, I knew you were my Mate, and I changed"
"You mean when I walked in on you fucking Tanya in the bathroom at school? What a way to meet the person you're supposed to spend the rest of your life with," I replied.
"I will admit that the way we met wasn't the best way to meet your Mate for the first time, but I can't change the past. I wish I had waited for you. I wish I weren't so stupid to think the Matebond wasn't as strong as my parents told me it was. It was stronger than what they told me. All I do is think of you, and I promise I am going to make everything up to you," Blake said.
I looked at him and could tell he meant everything he was telling me. He did feel bad for messing around with other girls before meeting me. I was upset at him for fucking other females. Even though he hadn't met me yet, he knew he would meet me one day but didn't care. He decided to sleep around even though he knew he had a Mate out there. I was beginning to feel sad thinking, and my emotions began to take over when I felt tears form in my eyes.
"Aurora, please don't cry, baby," Blake said and wiped a tear from my eyes.
"You knew you would have a Mate, Blake. But you didn't care. You made up your mind a long time ago that you were going to sleep around. How did you think that would make me feel once we met, Knowing my Mate was a fucking player that never cared about me?' I asked. I was shocked at myself for being so upset, but I knew I had every right to be.
"Aurora, I am so sorry," Blake started, but I cut him off.
"I would like to be alone. I don't want to talk to you right now." Blake looked at me with a sad expression on his face. It was causing me to feel bad for speaking to him the way I was, but I knew I was right. I knew I couldn't just act like he didn't hurt me by sleeping around when he knew about me. He might not have known who his Mate would be, but he knew he had one and that it would hurt me to find out he was a player when we met.
"I will give you your space. I understand what I did was wrong, and I promise I will prove to you how much you mean to me," Blake said and kissed me on my cheek before walking out the door.
I lay in Brandy's bed, thinking about everything I had just learned. The biggest one was that Werewolves were real, and my father was one. I always wondered who he was, but my mom never talked about him. I could tell he was a painful subject the one time I brought him up and decided never to ask her about him again. I used to want to get to know him, but after what John told me about our father leaving my mom and us, I changed my mind. If he wanted nothing to do with John and me, then I don't want anything to do with him.
There was a knock on Brandy's door, and John walked inside. "How are you feeling, Aurora?" John asked as he stepped inside the room.
"Shocked, confused, how would you feel if you just learned the Werewolves were real and one was your Mate?" I asked
"I understand what you are going through, Little Bit. Don't forget that I shifted into a Werewolf out of nowhere and didn't know what was going on. I understand more than you know," John said. I knew he was right. He had to have been more confused than I am because not only did he find out that werewolves were real, he turned into one. I could only imagine what was going through his head when that happened.
"You must have freaked out when you turned for the first time," I said
"I did, but luckily, my wolf told me how to shift back. I don't know what would have happened if I couldn't talk to my wolf," John said
"What do you mean talk to your wolf?" I asked
"Every werewolf can speak to their wolf."
"Like all the time?" I asked
"Yep, my wolf's name is Jack. He always has something to say," John said.
"What does he talk to you about?" I asked
"Everything. At first, it was annoying hearing him in my head all the time. But then I got used to him, and I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have him. He is a part of me."
"That is so cool," I said, and something crossed my mind. "Will I have a wolf?" I asked
"I don't know. You are almost eighteen, and you have never shifted. I shifted when I was fifteen, and most shift when they are sixteen."
"So that means I most likely won't have a wolf?"I asked
"I honestly don't know, but I don't think you will because you haven't shifted. You could be a late bloomer, though," John replied. We both stayed quiet for a moment. I was thinking about everything John had told me. I was also thinking about Blake and how to hurt I felt by what he told me. The messed up thing was that even though I was hurt, he slept around knowing he would have a Mate. I still wanted to be with him. I needed to be with him. Were my feelings for him only from the Mate bond? Were his feeling only because of the Matebond? I didn't; want to be with Blake because of some supposed bond. I wanted to be with him because we loved each other.
"I have to check on border patrol. Are you going to be okay here?" John asked
"Yeah, I will be fine," I replied with a smile on my face.
"I know you are mad at Blake for his decisions before meeting you. I am still upset at him, but I can tell he cares about you. I think you should give him a chance," John said, shocking me.
"I thought you didn't want us together," I said
"I didn't, but now I know I was wrong. What Blake did was before he knew you. I can see how different he has been since meeting you. You changed him, and I know he really cares about you."
"Yeah, because of some bond," I replied
"I don't think he only cares for you because of the bond. Just think about giving him a chance," John said
"I don't have to think about giving him a chance because I already decided I would."
