Chapter 280 All Here
Chapter 280 All Here
At that moment, on the other end of the line, the assistant looked at Sebastian sitting on the couch not far away. Gritting his teeth, he pulled a flash drive from his bag and handed it over with both hands.
"Mr. Blake, this is what you asked for. Everything's on here."
After taking it, Sebastian lowered his head to examine it briefly, then curved his lips into a smile, looking thoroughly satisfied.
"Good. Then as we discussed, I'll give you the money in exchange."
With that, he pulled a check from the briefcase he'd been carrying and placed it on the coffee table in front of him.
"Five million here. You can cash it at any bank."
"And of course, your parents have already been sent out of the country. I've settled them in a hotel in Country M."
"You can go there now and be with them."
The assistant picked up the thin piece of paper, clutching it tightly in his palm.
Honestly, he hadn't wanted to betray Greg.
But somehow Sebastian had gotten hold of his parents, and with no other choice, he could only agree to do his bidding.
Looking at Sebastian's cold expression, the assistant bit down hard on his teeth.
He knew all too well—there was no turning back once the arrow left the bow. After giving Sebastian a quick nod, he hurried out.
Hearing the door close, Sebastian narrowed his eyes slightly. He was about to get up and leave when suddenly his phone rang.
Picking it up, he saw it was Elena calling.
Looking at the name flashing wildly on the screen, he didn't even need to think hard to guess what Elena wanted from him.
His thoughts churning, he quickly answered.
"Elena..."
"Where are you right now?"
Elena's voice was urgent, her words coming fast.
Sebastian pressed his lips together. After glancing around, he spoke.
"Where are you right now?"
"I'm asking you."
Elena thought he was refusing to tell her, and immediately felt somewhat displeased. "Sebastian, I need to discuss something important with you right now. Can we please set aside our personal grudges for once?"
Seeing that Elena had misunderstood him, Sebastian felt somewhat helpless. He sighed. "That's not what I meant. I'm saying my current location—you probably won't be able to find it. I'll come to you."
At this, a long silence fell on the other end of the phone.
After what felt like an eternity, Elena finally spoke.
"Fine. Where?"
After thinking for a moment, Sebastian's eyes flickered slightly.
"How about in front of the police station?"
Elena paused, but still agreed.
Half an hour later, when Elena arrived at the police station, Sebastian was already waiting at the entrance.
Seeing Elena get out of her car and hurry toward him, Sebastian straightened up, a faint smile on his face.
"My family's situation..."
"I know."
Elena had barely gotten halfway through her sentence when Sebastian interrupted her. She froze.
Sebastian's expression was calm, as if he'd expected this all along. "I already guessed the Crawley family wouldn't just let this go."
"I just didn't expect the Blake family to get mixed up with them too."
At this, Sebastian gave a cold snort, a hint of darkness flickering in his eyes.
But immediately after, he composed his expression and held up the item in his hand toward Elena.
"But don't worry. I've already gotten the evidence. Now it's just a matter of catching those people who've been sabotaging us from the shadows."
After finishing that sentence, he tilted his head toward the police station.
"Let's go. We'll go in together."
Elena pressed her lips together slightly and said, "Okay."
Then the two of them walked side by side into the police station.
...
At that moment, in the club's private room, Greg had been waiting and waiting for his assistant without success, and was gradually growing anxious.
He pulled out his phone and called his assistant several times. Every single call went to voicemail.
Listening to the mechanical voice coming through the receiver, Greg's heart grew increasingly unsettled, and he began to panic more and more.
Meanwhile, Ciaran, sitting on the couch with a satisfied expression on his face, couldn't help but roll his eyes when he saw Greg's restless state.
Honestly, in his view, Greg's reaction was way too exaggerated.
So he couldn't resist making a sarcastic comment. "Mr. Colton, you don't need to be so anxious, do you? Maybe your assistant just got held up by something."
"Besides, Sebastian and I arranged everything perfectly. What could possibly go wrong?"
"You're completely worrying over nothing."
Hearing Ciaran's words, Greg frowned. He was about to say something when—
Suddenly, there was a loud crash. The private room door was slammed open, and several police officers with guns drawn rushed in from outside.
"Nobody move! Hands on your heads, squat in the corner!"
The moment they saw those dark gun barrels, not only was Greg stunned—Ciaran was even more stunned. He hadn't expected the police to suddenly burst in.
Just then, Elena and Sebastian walked in as well, standing at a distance and staring at the two of them.
The instant Greg saw them both, he understood everything. His face immediately changed.
And Ciaran, upon seeing Elena, immediately thought of what Aaron had done before.
His expression twisted, and he couldn't help but break into curses. "Elena, you bitch! So it was you two..."
"Shut up! Hands on your head, squat down!"
Seeing him still daring to curse, one officer pulled out his baton and barked at him.
No matter how angry Ciaran was at that moment, he didn't dare cause trouble in front of the police.
So he could only grit his teeth and reluctantly put his hands on his head and squat down.
Seeing this, the lead police captain looked down at them from his superior position, then spoke.
"Which one of you is Greg?"
The moment those words came out, Greg's face turned even paler.
Ciaran, hearing this, seemed to grasp at something like a lifeline and immediately spoke up.
"Officer, he's Greg."
Hearing Ciaran's answer, the police captain glanced at him, then turned his gaze to the man whose body was swaying unsteadily.
"Greg deliberately framed the Chase family and Chase Group, constituting the crimes of false accusation and defamation. Take him to the police station for investigation first!"
As his words fell, several officers stepped forward and directly handcuffed the ashen-faced Greg.
Seeing this scene, Ciaran became even more panicked and hurriedly spoke up.
"This has nothing to do with me. Greg was the mastermind. If you arrest him, you can't arrest me."
Watching Ciaran so desperately trying to clear his name, Elena couldn't help but laugh mockingly. "Ciaran, you really know how to talk nonsense. You say this has nothing to do with you. Who do you think you're fooling?"
"It takes two to tango. What's more, we have evidence. Do you really think you can escape the law's punishment?"
"You and the Crawley family behind you. Good luck with that!"
Hearing her mockery, Ciaran's eyes widened. He was about to curse back.
But remembering the baton in the officer's hand earlier, he could only grit his teeth and hold it back.
