Chapter 275 Try It Your Way
Chapter 275 Try It Your Way
The next afternoon, Elena had Anna gather everyone in the conference room to discuss the exhibition proposal.
"Feel free to speak your mind. We'll go through each idea and decide which approach works best."
After Elena finished speaking, everyone exchanged glances before nodding and beginning to share their thoughts.
"Ms. Elena, I have an idea. In the past, our exhibitions have always matched the project's location and theme. This time, we could flip that completely—it might create an unexpected impact."
The speaker was a young woman named Julia, who was specifically in charge of the studio's exhibition work.
Hearing this, Elena thought for a moment before nodding. "That's certainly fresh. Tell me more about how you'd handle it."
Julia immediately launched into her concept.
As time passed, everyone offered different proposals.
Just as Elena was contemplating which approach to use, someone knocked on the door, interrupting their discussion.
"Come in..."
The next moment, the receptionist poked her head in anxiously.
"Ms. Elena, there are some people at the studio entrance. They look aggressive and their attitude is terrible. They're making a scene and demanding to see you."
Hearing this, Elena's brow furrowed.
Before she could ask who these visitors were, a shrill voice suddenly pierced through to everyone's ears.
"Where's Elena? Where is she?!"
"Elena, get out here!"
The next moment, Jasmine burst up to the conference room doorway with several women in tow.
She immediately locked eyes on the person sitting at the front, her face twisting into a cold sneer. "So here you are..."
"Jasmine, what are you doing here?"
Elena looked at Jasmine's distorted expression, her frown deepening. "This isn't the place for your tantrums. Please leave!"
Hearing Elena's rebuke, Jasmine rolled her eyes dismissively.
"You think I want to be in this dump?"
As she spoke, she surveyed the surroundings, taking in the environment before a mocking smile tugged at her lips. "Nothing special, really. I thought you'd have more to show for yourself, considering how cocky you were on the phone."
"Though thinking about it, I guess your little studio has probably survived this long thanks to men helping you out, hasn't it?"
While sneering, she turned to the women beside her with a sarcastic tone. "Look, everyone—that's her!"
"Honestly, I've never seen such a shameless woman!"
The women with her immediately chimed in after hearing this.
"So this is the woman who's been seducing Sebastian? She doesn't look like much to me."
"That's where you're wrong."
A woman in a pink dress beside Jasmine pursed her lips with obvious disdain. "Men eat this up. All these types have to do is act cute and play helpless, and guys line up to help them."
The group made no effort to lower their voices, openly sizing up Elena while their eyes dripped with undisguised contempt.
Anna, standing beside Elena, bristled at their insults and was about to snap back when Elena stopped her with a hand.
Elena looked at these women deliberately causing trouble, her eyes darkening slightly.
Then, as if something occurred to her, she let out a cold laugh. "So Jasmine, you came all this way with your entourage just to say this?"
"What are you implying?!"
Seeing Elena's cold expression, Jasmine's heart skipped a beat, suddenly gripped by a bad feeling.
The next moment, she watched Elena raise her phone with a flourish. "Nothing much. Keep talking—I've been recording everything."
"I can take it straight to court and sue you for defamation and public disturbance."
"Let's see who's tougher—you or the legal system."
"You!"
Having been played by Elena, Jasmine's expression darkened considerably.
She hadn't expected Elena to be so calculating, pulling such an underhanded trick behind her back!
"Elena, don't think this scares me!"
"Besides, I don't think I said anything wrong! You know perfectly well that Sebastian is my fiancé, but you still went after him. Don't you have any shame?!"
"You must really love being the other woman, don't you? So eager to wreck other people's relationships?"
Hearing Jasmine's accusations, Elena felt utterly exasperated, her eyes filled with shadows. "I thought I made this crystal clear—Sebastian and I have no relationship whatsoever. Could you please not—"
"Save it!"
Jasmine cut her off without mercy, her words growing increasingly vicious. "You think I don't know Sebastian went to your place? You homewrecker, could you stop seducing other people's men?"
Hearing her blame this on her again, Elena grew increasingly irritated, her voice rising several notches. "Jasmine, Sebastian has legs of his own. He can go wherever he wants. What does that have to do with me?"
Honestly, she just found this whole situation absurd.
Sebastian chose to come on his own—what did that have to do with her?
"Jasmine, whatever issues you and Sebastian have are between you two. Please don't drag me into it."
"Also, this studio is my space. You barged in without my permission. Now please leave!"
Jasmine was momentarily speechless at Elena's words. She glared daggers at her, about to retort when her peripheral vision caught someone in the distance holding up a phone, apparently recording.
At this sight, Jasmine exploded. She charged forward, snatched the phone from that person's hand, and smashed it violently on the floor.
With a sharp crack, the screen shattered into pieces, and the phone went black immediately.
"That's what you get for recording! Serves you right!"
As if that wasn't enough, Jasmine even stomped on it several times with her foot.
At that moment, her expression was particularly arrogant, her eyes full of rage and contempt.
She thought she was still with the Crawley family, still able to throw her weight around.
Little did she know, the moment she finished speaking, all the employees' expressions changed, and they immediately surrounded her.
"What gives you the right to smash someone's phone?!"
"Exactly! That phone is personal property—what right do you have to destroy it?!"
"Pay for it!"
"That's right! Pay up!"
Watching this scene unfold, Elena couldn't help but let out a mocking laugh.
"Jasmine, how impressive—smashing anyone's phone you feel like."
"I have to say, the Crawley family's upbringing has truly opened my eyes. The fact that Jasmine could do something like this today must be a parenting issue, hmm?"
This remark left Jasmine's face deathly pale, her expression shifting like a kaleidoscope.
