Chapter 16 Vanessa Doesn’t Even Want You!

Chapter 16 Vanessa Doesn’t Even Want You!
<< Ryker's POV >>

_

_

"This is what you want, right?" My grip tightened on her hair as I slammed right into her drippy hole. "You want me inside of you. You want me to wreck your little pussy."

Vanessa didn't respond at first. I leaned over, my chest brushing her back. "Say it."

"Yes.." She whispered, like she was mad about it. "I want this. I do."

I picked up the pace, releasing her hair to massage her back while thrusting in. She slammed her ass against me, meeting me halfway.

She was exposed to me, looking wickedly gorgeous.

Irrevocably mine.

That's right. She was mine. Not Derek's. Not anyone else's.

My hands slid between her thighs, circling the upper part of her bud.

She met me halfway, her body giving in while her mind tried to fight it.

Her hands gripped the marble counter. Our rhythm matched, breaths quickening. In the mirror, I saw her face—flushed, conflicted, and still, impossibly beautiful.

"You don't even see yourself, do you?" I said quietly. "You're impossible to ignore."

She exhaled shakily, but didn't pull away. Her silence said enough.

"Look at me," I told her.

She did.

"You're not his anymore."

Her expression shifted. Her eyes glistened, not from pain, but from something deeper.

I held her through the final wave of tension, every nerve in my body tight. My chest pressed to her back. My breathing ragged. She trembled slightly, her hand gripping the counter so hard her knuckles whitened.

"You're taking this so well, lamb." I pressed her head against the counter, pushing her ass forward.

Her pussy clenched tightly around my dick, it felt so damn right. So good and intoxicating.

"Such a good girl." I breathed, the tension rising inside of me. The familiar sensation intensified. I was about to cum.

I plunged right into her, thrusting relentlessly. She squirmed and trembled beneath me, letting out soft moans that sounded like music to my ears.

"I'm coming." I let out a shaky whisper, pressing hard against her back.

My whole body shook as I spilled all of my cum inside of her. The electrifying pleasure came in waves as I emptied everything inside her.

Stillness settled in.

But something was off.

She shifted beneath me, her voice small. "Why did you... do that?"

I stilled. Her tone wasn't angry, but it wasn't okay either.

"You didn't say to stop," I said quietly, unsure if it was a defense or an explanation.

She pulled away, adjusting her dress like she wanted to erase the entire moment. "You still should've asked."

I stayed silent for a beat too long, guilt creeping in.

"I thought it was okay," I finally said, voice lower now. "You didn't say—"

"I didn't. I mean—you shouldn't have done that."

"I shouldn't have done what? Made you like fucking me?" I asked.

"I made a mistake," she whispered, more to herself than to me. "This... can't happen again."

I stepped back, jaw clenched. "You didn't seem to think it was a mistake five minutes ago."

"I-I wasn't thinking clearly."

I gave a short, bitter laugh. "You know what? Forget about it."

"I—"

"See you at the reception." I cut her off. Unlocked the door and walked out before she could say anything else.

Let her go back to Derek, or to whatever version of herself she thought she needed to be.

But me?

I'd already made up my mind.

I wasn't done with Vanessa.

Not even close.

"You're the one who's dating your brother's ex-wife, huh?" My father asked, staring at me from behind the table.

I leaned against the doorframe, my arms wrapped across my chest leisurely. "That should be me."

"See, Dad? He doesn't even feel bad about it." Derek pushed away from the window, his voice rising with frustration.

"Careful, brother. I'm pretty sure your fiancée wouldn't love to hear you argue over your ex-wife. Especially not on your engagement party."

"When Dad said 'go get a wife,' I'm sure he didn't mean my ex-wife, Ryker. Vanessa was supposed to be off-limits."

"Guess you also missed the part where it didn't say whose wife."

He snorted. "There's something called basic decency, Ryker. You don't go after your brother's ex. Everyone knows that. It doesn't need to be written on a damn wall for you to know."

"Basic decency? Sounds fancy. I wonder what that is."

Derek's face twisted. He looked like he had been set on fire.

"That's enough, Derek." My old man moved away from the chair, crossing the room. "You've moved on from Vanessa and will be getting married to her sister in December. It shouldn't matter to you what goes on with her."

"Well, it matters to me, Dad. Ryker's not exactly a saint. He's the last person who should be anywhere near her."

My smile faltered slightly.

"Well, isn't that just so thoughtful of you, brother? For a second, I almost believed you. But then, let's be real, you were just as awful to her as anyone else. So save the act. You're nothing more than a wild baboon who escaped the zoo."

Derek's jaw tightened, and he took a step closer like he wanted to swing at me. That would have improved my mood though.

"Say that again," He said, voice low and shaking.

I stood there, completely unbothered. "You're a wild baboon who should've been tossed into rehab ages ago, maybe then you'd learn to act like a decent human."

"Stop it, both of you," Our father snapped, his voice echoing in the study. "This is ridiculous. I can't believe you both are fighting over a woman."

But Derek wasn't listening. He pointed a shaky finger at me. "You'll regret this. I swear it, Ryker. You'll wake up one day and wish you never touched Vanessa."

I laughed.

"Oh," I said, taking small steps forward, my voice dropping. "Big bad Derek, threatening people now? What are you gonna do? Cry to Daddy when I break your arm again like I did in Italy?"

Derek's fists clenched beside him, trying to look tough. "You think this is a joke?"

"No," I said, smirking. "I think you're a joke. A pathetic one too."

"Can you both stop this madness?" Our father barked again, stepping between us like he had done a million times before.

But we both ignored him, not caring what this could lead to.

"You've always hated me, haven't you?" Derek snarled. "Always looking for ways to one-up me and to take what's mine. You couldn't handle seeing me with Vanessa, so you waited until it ended and swooped in like a damn vulture."

"Is that what you tell yourself to sleep better?"

"It's the truth."

"No, Derek. The truth is that you broke her and treated her like trash, but just never thought she'd walk into my arms."

"She was never yours to begin with!" He snapped.

"And now she is," I said calmly. "Funny how that works, huh?"

Derek's jaw tightened. "You don't love her. You are only using her just to get under my skin."

"You think you're that special?" I grinned. "But then again, who knows? Maybe I am. Or maybe I'm just loving someone you didn't know how to."

Our father sighed, rubbing his temple like he was aging more than he should in one day. "Ryker, Vanessa is...was your brother's wife. You do realize that your decision to be with her can cause chaos, right?"

"I love chaos in case you haven't noticed. And also, you wanted me to get a woman for the board. That's exactly what I'm doing, you have a problem with that now?"

"That's not what I meant—"

"Vanessa doesn't even want you, Ryker." Derek fired, cutting into our father's words. "Or you think I didn't notice how she kept staring at me?"

I chuckled. "If she were really into you, I don't think she would have allowed me fuck her like I'm the upgrade she wanted all along. Face it brother, you're just a guy she settled for. Not wanted. Note the difference."

Derek's face froze.

Good.
